  1. Borrowing ameera's gif

This prayer is actually not a problem and could very well be the wish of many women out there. It's a totally valid prayer. A good one too, lol, because it is specific -attractive, younger- not just any man. But it is a big problem when the person in mind is a stepson, and a married man too. I hope someone will tell her that there are still many single men out there. But maybe all ran away already because of the warning issued by @Ameera Ali :D

prayed for GOD to give her a younger man & wanted to be touched by younger man???!!! That's insane!!!!

And that ghost halaeboji now turned to be a flirty ghost?

So I take it that it doesn't really have to be Shin Yu Shin then... she was flirting with Seo Ban earlier... I guess any younger man will do? Haha... She needs to get out of the house more to meet younger men.

The scene of Ghost Grandpa by the poolside was so random. Whatever is it for? I lost respect for him now. Hahahaaa....

  3. Out of the 26 episodes aired, this is the best episode! This is the kind of revenge I want to see since the beginning of the series... SPY is AWESOME!! :yaaa::yay:

I love how she just confiscated Shin's phone from his pocket. She is smart to guess he will register Ami with a different name, and to see that the chat history is too clean. And when Ami came with her acting and lies, she's quick to ask for her phone, knowing that Ami most probably will not clear her chat history. And writer-nim made her remain classy not having her grab Ami's hair, throw the wine onto Ami, hit her with a bottle, but instead have the stepmom do it... LOL... people who don't know better will think that stepmom is totally on SPY's side when stepmom's angry outburst is really for her own sake... LOL...

  4. It was a good episode. I love seeing SPY finally realizing what her mother’s been going through, in her marriage and in their mother-daughter relationship. I’m glad she managed to ask for forgiveness before her mother passed.

Preview is exciting. Hopefully not just imagination again. Really hate this trick they pull on us viewers.

Seo Ban is growing on me. He is a man of principle and integrity. I am rooting for him and Writer Lee! But he seems more keen on remaining solo.

Btw for the last episode, when stepmother said she could’ve gotten rid of both in one day, I believe it was mistranslated. It didn’t mean that she wants to get rid of Jia as well. I checked the Chinese subs said I could’ve gotten rid of the obstacle at one go. The Korean also about the same thing (using a translator). And I am quite surprised in this episode, writer-nim actually made stepmom seems like a human.

  5. @JungRok Haha... I am not too worried about WG even though the preview may try to suggest some crisis. I think it’s just trolling us.

Iksun... I think she suggested the break up before she found out about her medical condition. She felt bad that she is causing a burden to JWan with the LDR thing, as commented by IkJun that the girlfriend is selfish expecting JWan to keep up a happy front when he is so stressed out. IkJun didn’t know that the girlfriend had an accident and JWan worrying about that. We didn’t get to see whether she answered yes or not about the other guy, but she will probably keep quiet to let JWan believe so. JWan should know her better that she isn’t one who would easily fall for guys or entered a relationship but being in a LDR will shake up your confidence and trust. LDR is already not easy, especially when their relationship is a secret.

SongHwa, seems like she is going to come less to Seoul now? I’ve been wondering actually that she seems more busy now instead of supposedly resting for her health. I worry when I see she has to drive back and forth so much between Seoul and Sokjo.

Love that for next episode we will see more of GomGom.

Yea I noticed that too but wasn't sure LoL. Why did In Sol give in though? I hope there's answers in next ep. Poor thing.. he just badly wants to play/compete more than anything.

I think deep down he knows that the team has better chance of winning if HK is the one chosen. That is such admirable action.

I dont like the ending for DY.

I wanted him and his mother to start a new life.

Me too. His death was so unnecessary... why not just heavily injured? But I guess it is needed to show a little bit of heart from LYC when he thanked BW for burying DY’s body? We don’t need to see that. Poor aunt, to have her husband and only child killed by her only brother.

not sure if I can express well but am starting to understand why the PD chose to draw back on any real skinship for our OTP. rather than a typical love story of two people meeting, this is about a couple who are fighting to save their marriage, their family and themselves. there is no question on whether they will fall in love or whether they will commit to each other. no, the question was always about whether they will survive and how to protect each other and their family. their commitment and attraction to each other was always based on heart and mind. so PDnim chose to show the melding of two lives that became one without skinship or big confessions. given the maturity and the way these characters are, it seems right that a hug displays the depth of their feeling more than a kiss would.

Thank you dear for helping to sweeten the sourness left because of the nil kiss in the drama. Actually I don't even hope for much, only a peck on the forehead... but okay, I will let go and move on now

I love that the drama starts and end with what the title "steal the fate" says. They decide their own fate when circumstances dictate otherwise. One minute I was like "Noooo..." and the next minute I was laughing when BW came into the room with his mask, and this time with a side-kick too :D

Based on (always misleading) preview, it kind of looks like Yu-Shin is using his power as hospital director to say that his wife is sick and needs to be hospitalized. Possibly drugging her and locking her up in a mental hospital. He is capable of doing this.

I had the same thought too!! Like he’s trying to prevent the damage that could be done to his reputation, family life. I hope her two friends will realize and help her.

I love that she asks him for a divorce.

I think it’s just her imagination. I don’t think she could bring herself to demand a divorce because then her seemingly perfect life will really be shattered. Even her questioning him who is Ami could just be an imagination.

I thought it could be his brother, but how would he know the age of other ladies. He has not met them, and the ages were almost accurate.

It shouldn’t be difficult. He found out BHR’s age from her profile. Just like we can find out about the ages of our drama scriptwriters and directors too. I am still undecided about whether someone else send it in, or Seo Ban himself, or the stepbrother. I wonder as well what’s with that phone call he made to their father. Sounds like something is being planned by them about Seo Ban.

  11. BHR is such an unlikable character. Look at the way she cut everyone off when doing her “interrogation”. She told (ordered?) the PIL to leave without looking at them, like they’re servants. Then she raised her brows and bulged her eyes glaring at MIL when MIL called her. The MIL also rolled her eyes when she scolded PSH “Don’t you dare say another word”. How can a healthy communication happen when one dominates the direction? The way she hit PSH’s face/head, fingernails/jewelry could poke the eyes, not to mention concussion could happen. The head is a really bad part to be hit. That’s why helmets are created for sports or transportation. She is a violent woman, and arrogant too when she belittled SW by calling her ahjummoni, like she would never get old herself. She also would not give any break to the husband by keep harping on him about every little details of the affair. Sure she put food in front of him, but she didn’t let him eat in peace. I have to say that PSH’s tolerance level is really high. When you keep pushing and cornering people, people will eventually withdraw and retreat from you. That’s a great formula for loneliness.

(I do not wish to argue about the 30s couple so please don’t quote my comment above if you’re just going to defend BHR. I am only stating my opinion for those who might be interested to read. I know there are opinions from both extreme ends and we will just have an impasse. I prefer not to engage in any discussion about 30s couple)

SPY - as much as I hated the way she treated her mother at the beginning, I felt so much for her when in a short moment her life came crashing down with shocking discoveries, one of her mother dying and the other one of seeing her husband hugged another woman. And did they show Ji-a being able to see her ghost grandpa?

Not much is shown for LSE in this episode, but I love how promptly she corrected U-Ram when he candidly calling Seo Ban as ahjushi.

The plot is getting more interesting but still going too slow, especially for the 40s couple arc. Seeing the preview, I cannot wait for the next episode to air, but thinking that a lot might’ve just been an imagination, the excitement dies again. I guess I can wait after all.

Looks like she is going to the horse riding place, I hope he does not see her there.

I think both will not see each other there. She will only find out in the hospital when Ami is hospitalized. We saw in the clip that she saw through the small window on the door that they hugged. I am guessing that’s probably the first time she found out. Please let it be tonight or the latest tomorrow night’s episode. I don’t want my popcorns to go bad having to wait so long.

Wedding and Party in the background. Check the background figure Netflix clip at 1:03:59-1:04:00.. / the HOLDING HANDS SCENE IN THE CAR WHILE DRIVING. JUST SLOW DOWN THE SPEED

It does look like the handholding of walking down the wedding aisle! But I cannot see the wedding and party background even though I played at half speed, haha... kudos to those with sharp eyes and thanks for sharing this observation!

You remember when his wife brought home that food he noticed it then that it was different and that his dad didn’t need to be eating it and thought granny must have changed the recipe and granny wasn’t happy that her daughter in law carried some home for him, granny was worried.

That was because stepmom held back the real recipe from SPY. She doesn't want SPY to know how to make the real deal but pretending she has taught her everything about the dish. SPY knew that stepmom was not teaching her properly and purposely brought it home to get her husband to taste it. Stepmom was upset because she doesn't want her dear stepson to taste the less than perfect dish.

OK I ffd some scenes so I didn't see the ones where she poisoned him previously.

In any case she did it so subtly that there is no evidence, especially some time passed and they probably burned his body, right?

She didn’t poison him per se. but kept feeding him with food that will be detrimental to his health condition. And true enough, he needed prompt medical help, but she just ignored him. So yes, very subtly and probably no one would have believe she is capable of doing so given how she’s been so “in love” and devastated in “deep mourning” for his death.

He doesn’t know she killed his father to be with him.

I wonder if this will be revealed at all or not. If so, how... It's hard to prove and unless she admitted it herself, no one will ever know she fed him up for a heart attack and let him die. Maybe the purpose of Ghost Grandpa is to push her into insanity and admit her role in getting him dead? I really want her true ugly side to be known to her family.
