Why are you using that tone with me? I asked and you blatantly ignored me because she was there. And since when did you guys become "we"? Oh that's right, 2 years ago when you replaced me. You talk to me as if you guys are morphed into one person and I'm just a third wheel. Other people at least call or text me once in a while. I've been away for almost 2 months now and I heard nothing except for that one time you wanted to know something. You cancel on me, you lie, and you act like you don't want to be there. Well you know what, here's a middle finger to our friendship because it obviously doesn't mean a thing to you anymore.
I've never felt so alone before. All the people I care about either live too far or they've moved on *sighs*

I saw the movie yesterday and thought it was pretty good. It definitely had its epic moments during the Battle of Hogwarts. My friend wasn't expecting much (she's not a huge HP fan) but she kept cussing throughout the battle scenes because they were so "awesome" haha. I think the cast members did a terrific job portraying their characters. Especially Alan Rickman! I read the second half of the book a day before I saw the movie and to be honest, it was a bad idea haha. I knew the material inside out and couldn't help but compare the movie to the book. I enjoyed the film nonetheless. There were some scenes I wish they didn't alter though.
I thought Fred should have had his own tragic death (Percy included), but the heartbreaking scene where the Weasleys cried sort of made up for it.
I also thought the timing of Ron and Hermione's kiss was SOO random! I adore the couple and I have nothing against the performance of Rupert and Emma. I just felt like Ron should have said something (like in the book when he talked about the elves) which triggered Hermione to do that. I guess I've been anticipating the on-screen kiss for so long that it didn't live up to my expectation, timing wise haha. And I didn't like that
Harry broke the Elder Wand in half at the end =/
It didn't really hit me until this depressing music started playing during the part when everyone was getting ready for the battle by putting enchantments to protect Hogwarts. I felt a bit sad and I knew the end was near. The epilogue really brightened up the mood though. I thought it was quite comical. I'm glad they reshot the scene because in the previous one, they looked as if they were in their 50's. The children were absolutely adorable! They were like miniature versions of their parents.
-sighs- I really am going to miss HP, but of course the story lives on. I wish it would continue on with the children at Hogwarts but I think that would butcher the series lol.
Oh I almost forgot to mention Neville. He was such a badass in this movie! His character really matured into a brave young man. Man Matthew Lewis grew up well. And Oliver Wood returned! I've been waiting for his appearance since the Chamber of Secrets
haha. I have a few questions about the movie/book (spoiler-ish comments/questions):
2. Did anyone find the scene at Knight's Crossing a bit overwhelming (i.e., going from a dark/low-light scene to a "pure" white scene) visually?
4. What ever happened between Neville and Luna? Did they get a traditional happy ever after like the other characters?
5. Did they actually name the kids in the book or was that purely a movie thing? Did Harry & Ginnie and Ron & Hermione both have three children a piece or did I miscount the number of children in the closing scene?
2. Yeah I thought it was pretty overwhelming because the whiteness blinded me for a second. The scene is based on the book though so I'm not complaining
4. I guess in the movie they are together, but not in the book. According to J.K. Rowling, Luna ends up marrying Rolf Scamander (grandson of Newt Scamander - author of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them). They later have twin boys, Lorcan and Lysander. Neville becomes a Herbology professor at Hogwarts and marries Hannah Abbott. You can go on Harry Potter Wiki if you want to know more. The site has a lot of in depth info about every character.
5. The names in the movie are the same as the ones in the epilogue. Harry and Ginny have 3 while Ron and Hermione have 2.
