  1. I have not posted anything in a long time; however, I had to comment on this drama.  I loved it!

It was a different take on time travel.  Image a man's soul being trapped in a female's body; what a great concept.  The actors did a phenomenal job.  Kudos to the directors, production team and the costume department.  The clothes and jewelry were beautiful and well designed. I loved everything about this drama from the evolution of the characters to the hit-it-out-of-the-park ending.

Thank you writers, cast and crew for bringing us a great and satisfying drama.  This drama will be on my recommendation list.

  2. I loved this drama.  It was well written and treated mental issues with respect and dignity.  This is one of the few dramas that I watched without the need to analyze it or comment on it. I was greedy, I did not want to read others insights or offer my own, I just wanted to enjoy the story.  I loved the relationship between the Moon brothers and how the relationship gradually changed, The relationship went from ST totally relying on GT to GT, near the end of the drama,  having to lean of ST for emotional support.  I was happy the writer gave ST enough courage to be able to live on his own and GT, who had taken care of him most of his life, being able to pursue his own dream and fall in love. I am sure that I will watch this drama again and recommend it to others.

I thank the writer, director, production team and the actors, they all rose to the challenge, worked hard, and gave an outstanding performance.   This drama  should win an award.

    Great Drama!

  3. Quick Thoughts

Episode  one is actually the beginning of the end of the story.  We see Lee Lim being interrogated and saying which he is 70 years old (that is his current age).  He explains the legend of the flute and confesses to killing his brother.  We also see Lee Gon, although we did not know it at the time, save his younger self.  In episode one Lee Lim has killed his brother (again); however, we do not see the current outcome of Lee Gon.  All the proceeding/following episodes are leading back to episode one and what happened after Lee Lim is arrested. The balance between the universes has to be restored; therefore, both pieces of the flute must be reunited.

I also noted that before I saw the black sneakers of Lee Gon, I briefly saw someone in white sneakers, was that JTE?  I think so.  Did they go back in time again and this time arrest Lee Lim and retrieve his piece of the broken flute?

The next episodes will be significant in answering these questions.

I do not have the answer, but somehow the little boy is key to the restoration of the universes. It is possible that he keeps the balance between good and evil.   When JTE encountered him in ROK,  after he accidentally caused her to lose her badge(?) she asked him if he had a counterpart in KOK?  His answer was no, there is only one of him, he travels back and forth.  How?  He does not have a piece of the flute.

The next 3 episodes should be interesting.

I am glad Lee Ho Min picked such a great drama as his first project to act in after his release from the service.

All of the actors are doing a fantastic job.  The fact that the chemistry between the leads is so potent speaks to their acting abilities.

  4. Hi all.

This thread moves so quickly that I have not had the chance to to read many of the posts; therefore, I might be repeating something that was already written in a previous post.  If so, please bear with me.

Again I am working (on break), and have to think and write quickly.

I watched episode 13 and these are my thoughts.

Was Lee Gon was poisoned by Luna?  I think Lee Lim asked Luna to retrieve the other half of the flute.  What she does not know is that JY will be back shortly and save the king.  I do not know if she will be successful in stealing his piece of the flute or not.  (Knowing K-dramas, she might be able to steal his piece of the flute.)  If that happens, I think JTE will be the one to retrieve it because she knows how important it is to saving both universes.  Once the flute pieces have been reunited.  They will be able to travel between the universes safety without any effects.

  5. I watched episodes 11 and 12 this weekend and the story line keeps getting better and better.  I did not have time to read the comments or analysis of these two episodes.  I am going to add my not so knowledgeable opinion and go back to work.

I think when Lee Lim killed the Prince, he unleashed the Lion within Lee Gon.  LL said "I thought he was a benevolent king."  He thought, LG would cower; however, he instead, roared like a lion.  LL thought he could do anything he wanted to the LG and he would take it. He remembers, his nephew, but LG has grown into a wise a man.   LL thought he made two mistakes.  I think he made four mistakes, one was kill the Prince and the other was to mess with JTE and the third was to bring Luna to ROK, he was warned against it.

I have so much to say and a little time to say it.  I will just bullet point.

    1.  LG realizes that the rules of travelling to parallel universes have been broken.  He has calculated that if they cross between the universes so much times, both universes will stand still.  Somehow he must fix the imbalance.

    2.  The boy with the yo-yo  -  I think the yo-yo somehow represents the world and the red string is representing the imbalance, remember a yo-yo is two sides joined together to make a whole. The string, is the ebb and flow or the balance between the two.  The red string means that the imbalance is getting critial.

    3.  The real Prime Minister might be dead because LL contacted her counterpart in ROK.  When the Prime Minister ended up in ROK, I think she wanted to find out what was going on, not to team up with LL.  Remember she wants to be LG's queen which could never happen if she teamed up with LL.

    4.   I think the reason LG, LL and others feel the fire like pain is because their counterparts in the parallel universe have died (been killed) before their appointed time.    Since Luna is still living, JTE did not experience the pain,  Like the yo-yo both halves make a whole.  One might be destined to die before the other in their own universe; however, they cannot be killed, by someone in the opposite universe, then take their counterpart to a parallel universe.  Remember LL killed LG's counterpart in ROK.   LL's actions caused a rift or tear in time.

    5.  I think the time freeze started to happen because both parts of the magic flute was in the same time and space.  The ultimate battle will be who will holds both halves and united them.  Perhaps mending the magic flute will also mend the rift.  (If this is anything like past drama LL will get it first and LG will have to battle for it)

    6.  I think LG's father and grandfather crossed into ROK because Lady Noh is from ROK.  However, they did not break the rules and; therefore, she has not had any pains.  Perhaps the book LG bought back for her was a book she read when she was a young girl in ROK.   The former king or his father could have also written the book.

Lee Min Ho is so good in this part.  He has immersed  himself in this character.  I applauded all of the actors, they are the ones who have made this drama so enjoyable.  The script is great and I love it.  I love the surprises and the suspense.  However, with out great talent the story alone would not be as phenomenal.

Did I mention the kiss scene in episode 12 was sexy, playful, smoldering and right on point.

When I get a chance I will come back and read your great insights.  I love reading your theories and analysis. It is above anything I would think.  I decided not to get too much in the back story; but enjoy the drama.

That's my two cents, now back to work.

Luna - I would love for Luna and TE to have been switched. Then TE would really belong in the kingdom. She and Hyungnim can become permanent residents, not illegal immigrants. Oh, and she will be queen, of course.

I am not a great theorist like many of your are this is my humble opinion.

Since Luna only has months to live, she doesn't need to replace TE in ROK.  I do not think Luna has parents in the KOC; therefore, TE could bring her father with her.

I do not know which episode it was but the Lee Gon has already made her his queen.  I would have to go back and watch several episodes to reference the one I am thinking of. It was the episode where she wanted to know his name.  He said , paraphrasing, I can tell you my name if you were my queen.  Then he pronounced her queen, but did not tell her his name.  I using the theory that if the king's word is law, then when he said to TE that she was his queen, is a legal. :)

So far this script is very well written.  I love the suspense, but it also have romance and funny moments.

    Questions to all:

Who is the trader in the palace?  Who is putting the messages in the book in the book store.

I think that in a small way, Lee Lim has admiration for Lee Gon, because he considered his brother to be weak.  However, he knows that his nephew, Lee Gon is not weak and Lee Gon feels that he is a worthy opponent.  I heard in his voice when he told Lee Gon, he  finally sounded like a king.

  7. I love reading everyone's theories. Some of your analysis are very insightful.  I decided that I would sit back and enjoy the ride.  I have not had time to read all 350 pages, however, did anyone have a theory on the fact that both Lee Lim and Le Gon have issues with their skin when it rains?  I think that the more times  each cross into another world, the more their DNA is altered.  Remember the road or the place where time does not exist?  I think that is where Lee Gon disappeared to.

If there is one alternate universe, why can't there be other alternate universes?  It is theorized that time is a continuum; however, in real life you cannot travel backward or sideways, only forward.

I noticed that there are some Dr. Who fans on this thread.  I have been a Dr. Who fan since the reruns of the first doctor.  However, I am trying to keep the two separate and not apply the time travel rules from that show to this show.

At the end of each episode, I have more questions than answers, that is what is so great about this writer, when I think I have it all figured out, there is another twist.  I also realize that some subplots are red herrings and are added to keep us guessing.

I wish that I did not start watching this drama in real time, because I have to wait until the end of the week for the next installment.

Keep theorizing it is fun to read your posts. Maybe at end Lee Lim will self destruct and that is what his brother knew... a grab for absolute power, trying to rule both worlds,  would ultimately destroy the holder of the magic flute.

Whoa! This drama..you cannot miss any details otherwise everything easily gets confusing. Even after watching the episodes carefully, it seems like the puzzles are still scattered everywhere and im still confused haha. This is the tricky part about parallel worlds. Everything isn’t as it seems and doppelgängers make it much harder to grasp details. So from my understanding, Shin Jae in ROK is actually from Corea. This means people were able to cross over even before the flute broke or people can actually find the portal on their own? Did LR and his minions bring him over because it doesn’t seem like anyone knows he is from Corea

This is my take on Shin Jae.  He was originally from Corea; however, he was forcefully taken to Korea when he was a little boy.  Something happened that caused him to be in a comma for a year.  Was his doppelganager killed in Korea killed?  From the conversation in the restaurant between Shin Jae and his mother, I believe a switch was made, but ,maybe she does not know it because she called him her miracle. Shin Jae has suppressed most of his memories; which is why he is seeing a psychologist.  He has been slowly piecing together his memories and writing them in his notebook, thus the drawing of the Corea crest.  If you remember the scene where someone favoring his mother was looking at adult pictures of him and crying, I believe he was taken away forcefully  as an insurance policy that one of his loved ones would either keep quiet or  do what Lee Lim  wanted them to do.

    My other thoughts

I think that when Lee Lim pressed the magic flute into LG's neck, some of the power from that flute merged with his body, I think that is why his back glows and pains hie when there is lightening.  Although, both have parts of the flute, I think the flute recognizes the rightful owner.   What we don't know is if LL knows about bridge.  Perhaps the bridge is a portal between the past, present and future.

    PS

I love LHM in this role. He has such presence.  I love to watch the way he walks, the way he handles himself  and how he wears his clothes.  LHM is perfect for this role.

Some want the King to act out of character; however, I do not.  Although he has a Prime Minster and Parliament the King has a lot of power.  Therefore, I would not want to see the king involved in scandals,or punching people out.  If you cannot control your own emotions, how can you control an empire.  Being crass and reckless, does not mean having  depth.

  9. Wow,  I have not posted anything on this forum since Crash Landing on You; however, after looking watching Eternal King, I had to express my pleasure on Soompi.  I did not know that I would walk into a conversation about the possibility of JY being gay.  JY has known the King since they were children, he knows his pain and heartaches. JY has one of the most important jobs in the kingdom, the protection of the king.  A. he does not know this person and; therefore, does not know if she is a threat.  Where did TE come from? Is she a spy or an assassin? Will she break the king's heart?  JY has all of these questions and more.  He is not jealous, but on alert as any good bodyguard and also worried.  Not only is LG the king, but he is also a friend.  The reason they were raised together was to ensure JY's undying loyalty to the king, as his father before, had to the previous king.  We all worry for those we care about whether another male or female, we want the best for them and we do not want to see them hurt.

    Great imagination!

First, that backhug! Wow! I have not seen a better one in all of my kdramas fan life. Just perfect! So warm and strong! And his words, the tone of his voice... full of love  *swooning* *melting**fainting* He is her pillar, as if he is recharging her with his warmth’ love. When she said to him, don’t look at my face, just for him to advance and back-hug her in the best and warmest possible way.

Also, did you see that RJH was caressing  her shoulder during the hug?!! OH MY HEART at that gesture. It is almost unseen, I saw it after rewatching the scene many times. RJH is rubbing his fingers (again! He did it too when he hold her hand and encouraged her to sit besides him in the bed) SO SWEET! I don’t know, but honestly, for me the back hug was as intimate and sweet as a kiss. Pure gold to my eyes.

I have been busy; therefore, I have not been able to comment on this drama.  However, I have loved this drama from episode one.

I've read many of the posts and I am amazed at the level of thought and analysis some of you have put into your posts.  Thank you.

I agree with you that his backhug was on of the best that I have seen.  However, I missed him caressing her shoulders during the hug.  Now you have forced me to go back and watch the episode again so that I can see the caress.  :D

I do not know how the writer is going to wrap up this story; all I am asking for is a happy ending.

 it's very clear that this ending was written with a second season in mind. basically nothing at all was resolved.

      Reveal hidden contents

EunSeom hasn't made it back to Arthdal, Saya just found out about EunSeom (well he looks rather betrayed too), NunByeol is reinstating her full Neanderthal powers, Mubaek hasn't done much about the new prophecy, the sword bell and mirror have not come together, Father YeolSon is still figuring out the trick to forging steel, Taealha has a whole new goal... And clearly, the way Tagon starting a war with Ago will see a clash directly with EunSeom.

I'm feeling rather unsatisfied because there's no guarantee of the next season.

If you have Instagram , there’s an announcement made, this is just season 1, season 2 starts in June 2020. Thats the schedule in Netflix

I knew that there had to be a second season because as @Donatog pointed out, nothing has been resolved.  I was hoping that it would be sooner, than later; however, I can wait until June.  From previous comments, it might be a three season drama.  I am okay with that also if I get a satisfying ending.

  12. I have not watched the Game of Thrones yet; however, I do not think there is an comparison.  This drama hit it out the ballpark.  All of the actors are amazing.

This drama shows that human nature never change; some people are inherently good, like Eunseom, and some are inherently evil.  The same political struggles existed then as now.  What makes the show so fascinating to watch is that people, though primitive, still have the need for power, (to subdue others), worship the divine creator, and have the need to discriminate against others based on an arbitrary standard.

I love this drama and what makes it more enjoyable is reading your comments, insights, and theories.

  13. I am so happy to see that viewers are still finding this drama and enjoying it.  I have recommended this drama to others because I loved the fact that Romance is a Bonus Book did not have all the nonsense that many K-dramas are plagued with.  The entire cast were great.  They made me laugh, curse, and sigh.  One of the funniest scene for me was when all of the stockholders came to work wearing their beige/tan trench coats...lol.  As I am writing, I am smiling, thinking of other funny scenes... there are many; therefore, I am going to stop here.

    Hi chingu,

Nothing amiss with your punctuation or even spelling and grammar. However, I think you must’ve lost your way looking for the shipper thread.  This isn’t it.

    Good luck on your travels.

    Cheerio

I am not shipping them, because I am not into shipping any couple.  No, I do not think Song Joong Ki handle the situation correctly.
I am only saying, since they were married, regardless of who started the process, or who is in the wrong, marriage is a serious commitment.  Who the couple is doesn't matter to me. Regardless of the status,  (celebrity or everyday people), it is not easy for a couple to come to the decision of getting a divorce.  Personally, I detest the behavior of any spouse, (male or female), who cheats in the marriage which is a possibility if the rumors are to be believed.  However, since we really do not know what actually happened in their marriage, I think instead of lambasting either party, we need to lend our support.  Not because of who they are, but because dissolving a marriage is not easy on either party.  I am not shipping them, but feel sorry for both of them.  Sometimes the one who hollers the loudest is the most hurt.  I think Song Hye Kyo is a beautiful person and a talented actress. I have been a following her since "Full House."   I hope as Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki  move forward in life, each will take this experience and grow from it. I look at both of them as fallible individuals, like the rest of us, and hope in the future both will find true happiness.  This is where I am coming from not from a standpoint of shipping them but from the standpoint of having empathy for both of them because only they know exactly what happened in their marriage and what when wrong.  We have to rely on speculation and rumor.   Again I agree that Song Joon Ki should have kept quite about the divorce until it was final and I cannot and will not defend him.  However, I do not know why he made the move he did.

I agree with you wholeheartedly that it would have been nice if they had put out a joint statement once the divorce had been settled. That would have been the classy dignified way to handle the divorce.

During times like these, we should watch our words. Not all of us are fluent in English and words we say may be subject to interpretation or, worse, to misinterpretation. Even commas are important! For example, "we're going to learn to cut and paste kids" is very different when a comma is added, as in "we're going to cut and paste, kids."

    Thank you, well said.

More importantly, it is sad for all involved when a marriage does not work out.  I was hoping when I first heard the rumors that 1. They were not true and 2. If they were, they would be able to work it out.  The first five years of marriage are in many cases the hardest.  None of us can possibly know what the two of them are going through.  I am sure they are both hurting.  The only thing we can and should do is to lend our support to both of them.

I hope all of my punctuation is correct.

okay so by far the BESTEST EVER episode of arthdal was today... So song joong ki has double role... Eun Seom , Tanya and the twin represents sword , bell and mirror and these three will bring the world to end...

I wouldn't mind it for world... and may I add , by far this is SJK's best drama... even better than DOTS... presumably because th Genre is untouched... Everyone literally everyone gave breath taking performances..

I did not think of it; however, I believe you are correct that Eun Seom, Tanya, and the twin represent the sword, bell, and mirror.  These three will bring the world to an end as they know it.

As you stated the entire cast is giving outstanding performances. I am in agreement with you, I think the drama is better than DOTS because it is a fantasy and everyone has to stretch their imagination when portraying the characters. So far, great story line.

I have enjoyed reading everyone's posts this week.  Your posts helped me to understand the story, especially since whenever, I am watching it, I am interrupted.  Once this drama ends, I will go back and watch some of the earlier episodes to gain a better insight of the characters and story.

  17. I have read several posts about what the critics and detractors think or have written about Arthdal Chronicles and frankly, I do not care.  If a drama catches my attention, then I watch it.  It does not matter if the actors are "famous" or unknown, if they act well and make me invested in the character they are playing, I will stick with the drama.  If the drama changes direction and the becomes unbelievable, then I will stopping watching it.  Arthdal Chronicles is a fantasy and; therefore, the norms can be stretched and bent.  I can see some inconsistencies, if the story was following history as we know it; however, since it is not following history, but an era as a backdrop; then I do not have any problems.  Fantasy genres are about, suspending what is logical and real and using our imagination to believe the other worldly.  Therefore, I have a few sincere words for the detractors and critics... don't watch.  I am sure there are other dramas that are airing that will appeal to you.

It is my hope that we limit our comments about what others think and use this space to analyze, surmise, and summarize our thoughts and opinions about Arthdal Chronicles.  I always enjoy, whether I am in agreement or not, everyone's insights, analyses, gifs, and banter.  You are what makes me come to this post back again and again.

There is also a factor of genre preference. I think it's more on the genre why this did not meet expectations on the ratings. People expected this to be at par with Mr Sunshine and Goblin.

I agree with you.  I've watched the first few episodes and was drawn in immediately.  The writing, so far is top notched and the cinematography is fantastic.  The drama looks and feels as if much time and effort was put into the production.  The fact that this drama is being featured on Netflix will draw a large audience.

I will forever rue that the drama never gave Ryan's adoptive parents the credit they deserve. For me, they've done more for Ryan than anyone else in the world, and this should have been properly acknowledged. Ryan does speak of them fondly, and Deok-mi's mother did mention a few times that Ryan must have been raised by outstanding parents, but those just aren't enough. It has to be said though that Ryan's fluency in Korean is a bit unrealistic given that he's never stepped foot in Korea after being adopted - while his adoptive mother probably spoke to him in Korean, surely his adoptive father didn't. To reach that level of fluency requires more than just that. But well, we can probably handwave that away and say that he can do anything because he's Ryan Gold B)

I agree with you.  RG does talk about his adopted parents fondly; therefore, I would have hoped that since DM and RG went back to NYC, they would have spared 2 to 3 minutes of screen time showing  DM meeting his adoptive parents or having dinner with them.  That would have tied the story up with a nice bow.

  20. I watched the final episode last night but will watch again :D.   This drama was wrapped up nicely.  Everything was resolved as far as I am concerned.  We didn't get a wedding; however, the last scene more then made up for that.

Again I must express my thanks to the writer, director and production team.  This drama did not have all the stereotypical plots that make me cringe when I am watching most K-dramas.  The characters were written as mature adults who knew how to handle difficult situations, and communicate with each other.  Once they became committed to each other, they decided to face all hardships together.  In real life, that is what people who love each other do.  Thank you to all the actors in the drama.  Everyone stepped up to the plate and gave a great performance.   I also loved the outfits,  DM (Park Min Young)  wore some very professional, fashion forward outfits. I loved it when the wardrobe department coordinated DM 's and RG's (Kim Jae Wook)  outfits ... very stunning and effective in showing their chemistry.  Speaking of chemistry, Park Min Young and Kim Jae Wook's chemistry was off the chains.  They portrayed their characters flawlessly.  I was impressed with all of the actors performances.  The cast deserve a standing ovation.

The icing on the cake was to be able to share this drama with all of you.  You shared your thoughts and your insights. Sometimes I disagreed but I had fun reading your posts, sometimes I smiled other times I laughed.  I hope to meet you all again on the Soompi Forum and I hope it is another mature adult drama, that makes us swoon.  Until then, be well.  If you find a great drama, please let me know.

    Thanks all

Maybe she did try to find Ryan's mother but failed and had no other option... or maybe Ryan reminded her too much of her own lil son and she couldn't bear the heartbreak :cold_sweat:.  I need to watch the sub eps to understand it more

I agree with you, I think the heartbreak of losing her own son and almost losing her daughter was too much to carry at that time.  I only wish that they would have had her take him to the orphanage  very early in the morning as opposed to late at night.  Ryan is also not too upset because, had DM's mother kept him, DM would probably see him as a brother instead of a lover.

As I was thinking about Ryan's personality and the way he handles situations.  He behavior is not only shaped by his maturity, but by his loving adopted parents and by his adopted country.   I love RG's gentle loving nature and his thoughtfulness and the respect he has for women.  It is a reminder of how we, as women, should be treated by all men.   Someone had stated earlier that they were happy to see that RG did not grab DM by the arm and pull her away when she was hiding behind EC.  There are jerks in every country; however, most men do not pull on women in that way in America.   Yes,  there are abusive men in America, there are misogynistic men in America; however, it is not interwoven in our cultural for men to treat women in a disrespectful way and most women would not allow that behavior.

I cannot wait until tonight; however, I am also sad that this is the final episode and wish this drama was 20 episodes instead of 16.

Kudos to the writer, director, production crew, and of course, all of the actors.  It was everyone's effort that made this drama such a joy to watch.  I cannot believe it, this is  the second K Rom-com drama this year without all the mother drama and asinine lets break-up without talking and getting an understanding first drama.  The characters were mature, loving and believable.  I loved the way they talked to each other and shared their feelings, and vulnerabilities.  One of the great scenes was when DM was women enough to ask RG why he did not want to be in a fake relationship with her.  She was a strong enough woman to put her heart out there to get an answer as opposed to us spending several episodes with her acting out... very mature behavior.  I could go on and on about this drama and all the scenes I loved such as when RG cried on DM's shoulder.   This drama has become one of my top 10 K rom-com of all times.   I would recommend this drama to anyone looking to watch K Dramas for the first time.

I loved your post.  I could not agree with you more.  I enjoyed this drama because the couple acted as normal adults would.  I hope other writers take a page out of this writer's book.  This is how an adult relationship should look.

... the skinships... I know many people who watch this drama complain it's too fluffy, cringe-worthy, too much, etc... BUT THIS DRAMA IS A ROMCOM...IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE FLUFFEEYYYY. And for me, the leads did not overdo it. They did what normal couples do and still within boundaries for their status as employee and boss if they're at the gallery... (GOD IF YOU KNOW THE PDA LEVEL OF ACTUAL KOREAN COUPLES IN PUBLIC SPACES...THAT IS CRINGE-WORTHY). They're over 30s anyway...what do you expect? Spazzing over holding hands and kiss only once a month? =)))))))

Thank you, thank you and thank you again, what couple over thirty only hold hands and act as if they don't know what intimate relations are?  I remember as an adult, (not yet 30) when love as new, I just had to touch him or be touched by the him.  I remember my boyfriend, even when he was driving had to touch me, we just needed to touch and feel connected.

    • Overall plot and conflict

Some might argue that the plot is thin and predictable and resolved too easily and quickly. To some extent, I agree. Ryan's psychological trauma is kinda huge...but it resolves so quickly with an astonishing level of understanding and mere apology from Ryan himself. We still don't know what actually happened and how many time have passed since her accident so that Lee Sol couldn't find Ryan...how much effort did she even put to find him.

I think Ryan could forgave his mother once he understood why she left him.  He was adopted by loving parents and did not have a hard life.  Perhaps his life was better, because he was adopted.  When Ryan was left at the playground, (although it is clear that his mother loved him and would have never abandoned him), his mother was struggling to put food on the table.  Ryan could also feel that she was sincere in searching for him.  As an adult, why be angry when you find out the reason the person did not show up was because they were in a serious accident.  If anything you feel relief that that person is still alive.

This writer nailed the script.  I have such high praise for the writer.

Thank you again for your post.  It expressed everything I was feeling about this drama.  Great insight.

I just thought about it, both of them will go to the USA, DM will probably study, however, RG must to introduce her to his adopted parents, before there is a wedding.

Where's the naked BED Love-Making Session JUSTICE? 134.gif

I agree with you; however, we have to use our imagination.  This is after they completed the act and showered together... Therefore, we get the bed scene with uncomfortable shirts on.  Who sleeps like that?  I don't wear anything that uncomfortable even when I am alone.

I have had so many smiles and laughs reading your posts.  Great posts guys,  Although I am waiting impatiently for Wednesday to come, I don't want it to come to quickly because Thursday is the last episode and I am going to miss this couple.

  24. I love DM's Mom, she is so refreshing.  It was funny when she wanted to know why DM was home alone when she has a boyfriend and started to tell her what they should be doing...but stopped.  LOL.   I guess her mother thought, a man that looks that good, is talented, has money and is into you...do I need to tell you what to do with him?:D  DM's father was funny in this episode also.  I laughed so hard when he started looking behind him and running down the street. He looked as if someone was going to attack him and we later find out that it was Cindy...so funny.   I love all the characters in this drama.  When the drama is over I will miss the characters of RG and DM; however, I will miss the other characters also,

I will wait until after tonight's episode to comment on RG finding his mother and confronting her.

No, I have not written any analysis about these paintings so far. I can only say that the painter wanted to show how colorful soap bubbles are. If you pay attention to the soap bubbles, you will notice that they also function as mirrors. There are some reflections in those... but a transformed reflection. This created world full of colors is linked to happiness and cheerfulness, yet the opposite happened. Moreover, soap bubbles are often used by children hence we can say that these paintings reflect innocence and childhood. This explains why CSA has associated these to happy memories. On the other hand, it was as if the painter had lost herself in this colorful world full of soap bubbles making her forget the reality. She had a son by her side. No wonder, if LS quit painting and decided to get rid of these paintings. She never wanted to lose herself in the paintings.

Thank you.  I always look forward to your insight and especially your analysis of paintings and poetry.  You are correct, if you think about it the paintings are happy and show a childlike innocence.  As children we all loved to blow bubbles and were in awe of the rainbow of colors within the bubbles.  Again thank you.
