Sorry i can't accept it! How can you say that she has nothing or interesting to play?? Please watch the episodes again.. You are the only one who is saying this..Or if you don't like it just stop watching and please don't say those words again ..Humble request :-)

I agree with @Саша Rain had to say though.
Objectively speaking, both Kim Rae Won and Park Shin Hye's characters had stopped growing probably after the 5th episodes.
I blame the plot and the writer for this, not the actors themselves.

Also, it's rude to say that to someone who's just expressing their opinion on the forum. This forum wasn't made to only discuss unicorns and rainbows. Just because he/she has a different opinion than yours, doesn't mean they don't like the drama.

    Respect.

  2. Oh rest assured I'm not making my judgement based on this video.

I've never doubt Eric's live during his solo part because it's well... obvious. I was just saying that I don't really hear Eric's voice during chorus when everybody sings together.
I agree that video was most probably edited as I too hear other members saying "thank you" at the very end of the clip and their mic were working just fine.

Although I personally still feel that Eric doesn't actually sing out loud during the chorus for the most part because I really couldn't hear his voice in the chorus during live performance. Don't ask me how I could tell, because it's just what my ear tells me hahahaha :P

Perhaps he does sing, maybe with a really soft voice.

But loved that discussion! Thanks for your opinions girls:) really appreciated!

  3. Hey everybody! I've always had a question about this...

In live performances, does Eric actually sings during the group parts? Of course he would open his mouth and "sing-along“ with the members, but I just don't feel like he's actually singing at all.

I recently saw a video on YouTube where the uploader claim that during a concert few years back, the members MICs had a malfunction and only Hyesung's was working, therefore he was pretty much soloing the later half of the song (I think it was 'Perfect Man'). However, during Eric's rap part, his mic was working fine and it could be heard clearly... but when it reaches the group part, only Hyesung was singing. So this kinda convinced me even more that Eric doesn't actually sing out loud during parts where all the members are supposed to sing.

    What do you guys think?

I don't know which particular performance you refer to.  Can you give me a video link?  I'm sure ALL Shinhwa members lipsynced on occasions (for whatever reason), not just Eric or any particular member.  It doesn't make sense to me that why every one sings live but Eric.   As for Eric, he's known for not saying & singing without moving his lips or the voice seems to come from some where else (sorta Ventriloquism?).  I think this was mentioned during Shinhwa Broadcast (I can't remember the particular episode) . Though I'm not saying that it's the case in the video you wonder.  Also the quality of the video doesn't always sync well.  I remember some comments in some of the music stage performance that also wonder the same thing and some were wonder if he lipsynced.  The fans were at the recordings had said all the members were singing & rapping live during their parts.  I'm sure they'd have to use the Music Recorded to match with their live singing/rapping.  I'm not sure if that satisfies your question, but that's how I see it :)  If you hear the fancams, it's obvious he raps lives during his part.

As for that particular fancam, may be the uploader made mistake that only Hyesung's mic work?  I don't recall that particular performance where all members' mics failed, only Hyesung's was functioned :)  The disaster one was in Singapore in 2012 when both WanSyung's mic were not function well and they were pretty upset during the performance.  I heard Dongwan even threw a water bottle down the stage that almost hit some fans.  Eric calmed him down by putting his arm around Wan's shoulders and gently rubbing it to calm him down.  That's the only time I could remember more than 1 member's mic malfunction.  But then I don't know if there really were that time.  I'm not their long time fan. :)

I'm not an expert to answer this but I try to say this objectively based on what I see (so this is totally my opinion). I don't think all of Shinhwa performances on the stage were live. I mean, there is moments that they did lip sync. Take examples during Kcon 2015 in LA. There were few songs they sang live and some other were lip sync. Same with other overseas concert like in China. I guess, that is because of difficult choreography or they need to safe their energy for just say hours concerts. However, I don't think there is a moment where some member are lip sync and others singing live. If they do lip sync, they'll do it together. Same case with if they sing live too. So means, there is no moment where Hyesung singing live alone and other were lip sync or Eric was lip sync while others singing live.

Eric rarely open his mouth too wide/over when he did his parts. That's the reason I think why many people doubt he sang live WHEN SHINHWA SING LIVE. If you wanna check whether all of them singing live or not, you can see MR removed in Youtube. You can understand what I mean by even though Eric doesn't open his mouth like he's singing but he sings because it sounds still good as in the original DVD/ CD in those MR removed.

I watched their concert in Seoul 2 times and in Seoul they put all singing live because the arransement were pretty different from CD/DVD and there was band with backing vocals and so on. And again, Eric still not open his mouth too over/ wide but he still sounds great. Maybe you can check it by yourself if you have chance to see their concert in Seoul. They all sound so perfect on the stage. If you wanna see their perform 100% live, you can check their Sketchbook program last time. That show always 100% live (as I know). And again Eric sounds perfect as usual. If you notice, Minwoo also didn't open too much his mouth when he sings but he sounds perfect as in the DVD/ CD too.

We talk about Shinhwa who has done their singing job for more than 17 years. So, of course they know how to maintain their voice well in every conditions. No need to surprise if they still sound good even when they close their mouth XD.

That's just my opinion. Maybe others could add some more.

Hey! Attached is the video I was talking about.

The title is basically saying "not just anybody can be Shinhwa's lead/main singer" which is basically indicating that Hyesung pulled off the (later half) performance well without the members.

Check it out and let me know what you think:)

  5. Take example the simple phrase when host asked whether he was dating someone or not in Battle Code last few years, he didn't say clearly 'I'M DATING'. Instead he used very smooth phrase "I'm putting my radar on someone'".....XD. Same when he responded and gave rebuttal to the reporter or when he replied about Han Ye Seul's situations. Those responses were very well organized. He can slap with his sentences. That's one of Eric Mun's hidden power.

The translation for what Eric said on Battle Code is quite confusing. I've watched a few different videos with different team subbing it (including Chinese subs), some translate Eric's words as "I'm putting my radar on someone" like you said... very much indicating he's in a relationship or still in the chasing phase. However, most other ones translates it as "There was someone I wanted to marry" in response to the MC's question of whether he had dated anyone whom he had marriage in mind. In this case, it sounds like a past tense, which sounds more logical in-line with their topic when Dongwan mentioned every member almost walked down the aisle with someone.

  6. We've the wisest Leader ever! Every quote of him is so inspiring & relatable in life!
    #EricMunQuotes
"You will never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have."
I'm already fascinated by these words in the meantime. Totally can relate to it in my life.

This is a quote I really love and it's nice Eric knows it too.

However, this is actually a famous quote by Bob Marley:)
