    Finally I watch last episode with translation. I want to say the writers do great job, and they choose the best path for BY in this situation. I was curious for begining what they do with her in the end- if they kill her or they make her leave. I didn't see her as a concubine BW for beginning...

    I started watch this drama because GSY and YAI too:DOf course I was little upset that LM don't have much sceentime but I think In this history with that a such strong characters there wasn't much place for her to grow and shine directly. But I was proud see her in this drama, she do really good job;)

    I read  some international fans comments who doesn't know anything about history or they just shipp really strong BY with BW, that sudden appear LM was for them shock. I think some of them concentrate too much for love story and they didn't see bigger story in this drama. I feel like in the second part drama, writers were also really carefull with romance scene between BY and BW. I also read some fans comments that they like LM, so they don't want her fight with BY. I don't know how writers created characters, if they do that early or they something change along with episodes...? But in the end LM wasn't jealous (so there wasn't love triangle like some of us think), she appear when was time to persuade BW or when the time was to support him with his action. That was her role, small but somehow important too. And I think for her ending was the cruel. In this drama BW ends lonely but he met the taste of love in his life. That's sad but Queen doesn't even have that. For her in the first place was the family and her husband kill the most of them...She become more lonely and unhappy than him.

    I don't think in this drama will be happy ending for our characters...At least not what we are accustomed to:rolleyes: This is not that kind of kdrama when everyone will be living happily ever after. And I think for the ending they must prepared something really big. We watched a lot amazing and emotional episode so far, so the last episode can't be worst. Who will be die? I am trully curious is writer will surprise us or they kill BY...

    I agree with you, in this scene it's looks like sword didn't even touch crown prince. Maybe after rape controversial involving children actor they will cautious in that scene?? Scene when the main character kill child is for sure hard to filming...very brutal. I think we are always more sensitive when we see a child is being harmed. So I think director might be want to, I don't know.... appease this scene? But even that I was in shock...

It made my heart broken many times :(( In my opinion, I hope BY can seperate from BW by her bro, JDJ and YH. I guest when BW and JDJ weren't be one side, BY may not be BW side. BY has enough strong to live alone, she don't need BW although she make sure hurt for a long time. But the most important, BY don't want to jealous or war, so she wouldn't do anything which made LM hurt or jealous more,specially when LM has many child, I believe that BY will be person stop this relationship first. The writers nim, please, let BY may be live with BJ and YH happily, let's BW became a king and focus in building a new Joseon and let's LM became a strong queen. 

     I am GSY fans too and I am sorry to hear that some of her fans try bashed SSK/BY. That's sad. I really like her. But I notice in kpop and kdrama world fans likes compared they favorite group/idol/ actres to others- who is more talented, who is prettier etc. I really don't understand that.:blink: 

    I notice that when LM character show up  fans start be little emocional- Knet bashed BY but some shipper BW and BY or international fans bashed also LM character- for example I watch SFD on viki.com and you can watch drama with is comment section included- when I watched scene with LM and BY I saw comment "burn b..tch"(about LM). I am little scared what the fans say when Love Triangle become strongly scratched...When drama have love triangle fans always be too sensitive and emocional, they don't heed to the words...:huh:

    About romance scene BY and BW - if I remember well writers say that romance/love its not over and we will see as they love evolves (correct me if I am wrong). I don't think that after see some heavy words about BY writers change their relationship, but who knows...

    About LM- I only want one thing... I don't wanna feel pitty for her. This triangle thing...I want her to be more than this. I want her to be strong and inteligent woman. I watch before some historical kdrama and there was always queen who be a portrayed as a evil, jealous woman who only plot how to kill competitor, but what I see for now  this time it's going to be something diffrent in a good way (I hope so)^_^

    I must say that I watch mostly romcom drama but this time I am really into history and politics in this drama. And I learn a lot interesting thing about korean culture. Thank you @homura :D

    @USAFarmgirl can I ask you where are you watch ep 18 with translation? I always watch in viki.com but their not finish yet..

    About SFD rating- I agree that this is because new kdrama OMV. I notice that female audience liked more romcom than history drama. And even in SFD has good romance plot in last couple episode this part was not that exploser like in the beginning...So they switch canal but I hope they back;)

    I watch today only fighting scene- rest episode I am going to watch with translation;) for this scene I just couldn't wait... And I think it was one of the best scene in this drama so far...:D I really like GTM character and it is sad that he must die...but fight and emotions in this scene was AWESOME!! I had tears in my eyes when GTM was on the knee, bloodstained and he speech...I don't know what he said but... this was so sad...:(

    Today I experienced huge shock... I saw first in my life kdrama in national tv in my country!!!!:w00t: I just drop dead... I am soo happy!!!! Now I can watch "Empress Qi" with my language translator..ZERO SUBTITLES!! Welcome kdrama in POLAND:D:D This could be even better if this was be SFD;) But who knows... maybe in the future:P

    Is it not possible for u to watch Empress Ki online or download wth EngSubs? I watched twice.. Kdramas are getting better n better tht we just find it so hard to vote. Even their child actors/actresses are fantastic.

    I watch this drama with EngSub before but this was little harder bacause I must fallow translation in not my language- and my english is not perfect...;) Now I can be more focused in action not subtitles. Another reason why I am happy- because now I can watch kdrama on big screen not in front of my not so big computer:lol:;) I am really suprice because I was thinking that in my country kdrama is not that much popular like in other countries... Big shock for my today:w00t:This is first kdrama in my national tv and I hope there will be more:D

    I don't watch today episode so I still wait for translation... I only want to say that I officially love this drama:D There is history, policy, conspiracy, material arts (I really really like that part!!), romance, comedy, interesting character (I really like strong and inteligent woman in this drama), good acting, music... everything;) And one of my favorite character is MH- he is so funny and cute:lol: 

    @netka85,  MH and GTM is like the comedy aspect of this drama I can't see GTM dying this soon but I think it will be MH that kills him in the end once MH creates his own style he need to fight in a couple of wars.. 

    GTM dies?! NOOOOO!!! I like him too:( This is too soon...I want him stay little longer...His character is very colorful and funny too.

    Although I wanted BY/BW to have a couple relationship, I have come to accept that it’s unlikely and they are more likely to remain partners/comrades in the founding of Joseon.  Plus BY is described as BW’s “beloved” which means someone who is cherished by the other this in itself does not have to be in a romantic sense but can be broader in the terms of loving a person, though it started romantically between them because of life realities & in a way BY’s guilt it’s not possible so the alternative is for them to be together but not “be together”.  As stated in an earlier post BY represents the common people of the country who wants better for her home so for BW to say that he loves her and is likely to do so until the day he dies indicates that he will always love the people of his country especially the commoner who he calls as his/mine.  Therefore BW as the 3rd dragon future king fought for and loved his people.

     

    They might be don't follow history in 100% but  because king Taejo it was really important king for history Korea, writers must be a very careful with scenario. I don't believe in happy ending with BW and BY. I just don't see any good option if we talk about BY stay by his side.

    Its up to you if you dont wanna believe bout BW & BY happy ending, but it dont change the fact that both of them are in LOVE, do you know what love means?!! BM even said to her that he will love her till he DIES! dont you guys get that?

    beside im sure you know well that BM marrying LM just for political benefits. just that..:rolleyes:

     

    Yes, I am a fan GSY but this is doesn't matter. I am happy see her in this drama but I read about her character before I started watch SFD. And she didn't have also happy ending. She got a power but she don't have love. I read about king too... Little scary person. And yes I like actres but this is doesn't mean that I don't like BY and BW together. I like their love story but I also saw many k. historical drama before and only one -ONE happy ending. And that drama was more like romance kdrama than historical. So yeah I don't believe for happy ending for them- and this is doesn't mean that I don't want that!! If you see that happy ending for BY is become BW concubin (for me this is not happy ending for her)- I'm thinking that in their situation this is the only one option when they could be stay together -that maybe writers do that.. who knows? but I don't call this happy ending...What a life...Be a concubine...:huh: 

    English is not my first language so I only have hope that you understand what I want to say directly. And please don't judge my opinion about story line based on what actres I like;)

    1. She walk away with brother or alone after story end. As a strong and free women she just quietly leave...( for me it is happy ending for her)

    2. They kill her -some tragic/ sacrifice romantic death ( Writers please don't do that!!). I watch before some k. historical drama and I only once see happy ending lead couple.

    You got a nice point there but this drama doesnt seems like following history 100%.

    It can be other way. maybe writer will make happy ending of BW & BY?? Since both of them are the dragons. As both them feel the pain since their past, Without pain, theres no gain thou.

    What that scene means? isit like removing gift from her ex or something? :mellow:

    For me ending when BY become concubine it's not happy ending even if she will be with her lover. I don't know how much writers follow history if we talk about true character BW. Don't forget that he is not only guy who really love BY and talk some romantic words to her. He was great king but his hands it's not clean. There will be a lot of blood in his path. In the future in this drama we could see his other side and this side maybe will be not that nice like we see now. And BY maybe will not follow his all action...
