They already started casting supporting characters, actor Jang Kwang as the head of Department of Eunuchs (or something like that :p), so I hope this means our 2nd leads already confirmed.
It seems the preceding drama Beautiful Mind is pushed back by two weeks, all news articles say it will premiere on June 20. So Moonlight will start only on Aug 15.

This character is Chae Soobin's. She and Sungjae haven't confirmed officially yet. Sungjae will play a poet/warrior not a king, apparently allkpop translated it wrongly. I don't know where blogs like koalasplayground and allkpop get their info from because they're all wrong. Wikipedia can't be trusted either because it can be changed by anyone. I think the most trusted and fast sources are fans at this point.

There's quite a confusion about Sungjae's casting today. The result is he hasn't rejected the offer yet. They said "he's one of the candidates for the role and still considering. The overall harmony of actors is very important in casting, so we are being careful in the casting process. We aim to finalize casting as soon as possible. The drama is scheduled for August, so we would like to start filming in June"

His name is up on the Asianwiki for Moonlight, including a picture of him with PBG and KYJ.It's not confirmed yet. Some (korean) articles about Yoojung's casting said that he's confirmed too, but there hasn't been official news about him. I believe it's a done deal though. He worked with the same writers and director in School 2015, and no one else has been up for the role till now.
That said, this drama looks more and more like the sageuk version of School 2015 lol. Not in terms of story, but production. I still don't trust KBS and the writers. School 2015 was very well-written at first, but things went downhill in later episodes because of the changes for ratings. Hopefully we get a stronger script this time.

Kim Yoojung is confirmed to play the female lead. Her agency confirmed too. She and Sungjae hosted Inkigayo together, so it would be fun if he joined too~

She doesn't say anything particularly new but I found it cute. She says that her character is bright and lovely. She also says "Rather than feeling pressured, I want to capture women's hearts (haha as a man?). Also I have always wanted to play a crossdressing character." Sungjae is one of the models too. These two really have a lot of projects together...
