[[Drama 2017-2018] Jugglers 저글러스]

Did Kang Hye-Jung's character appear in Episode 1? I am guessing not right? Though the preview suggests she is friends with Yoon Yi and co?

 

To be honest I was kind of hoping for the pairing of Baek Jin Hee's character and Lee Won Geun's but Daniel Choi impressed me and his and Jin Hee's characters will be so cute :D, especially once they start co-habitating. Though I do prefer his unstyled hair :). You guys think the characters of Kang Hye-Jung and Lee Won Geun will be romantically involved? I am guessing no but I am not sure about Won Geun's character's age. I do hope to see a love line for him though. Didn't happen in Queen of Mystery

[removed: No profanity!] they just had to do huh =_= - MY gets kidnapped/held in a hostage situation to attack SJ's weakness and force his hand somehow. I really dislike damsel-in-distress situations mainly because of how it marginalizes the female protagonist. Although, it can be done tastefully occasionally and hopefully, judging by the recent track record by DOTS, it will be. I am typically of the opinion there are other ways of heightening tension but I suppose kidnapping is still the most effective and common way despite how I feel about it. Aside from my mini rant, another solid episode. As other people pointed out, there are little references to moments that occurred early in the drama and item yes scenes and interactions much more richer. I especially love Dae Young and Myung Joo's growing romance and DY's warming of his frigid shell, opening up to the great pool of love and adoration for MJ. It is unfortunate MJ is going to suffer from the M3 virus and it will be interesting to see how DY deals with this situation.  Sang-Hyun and Ja Ae are so endearing for an older couple and who could forget our main couple :D. It is hilarious and adorable to see their bickering and bantering. They just fit together so well and their chemistry is phenomenal <3. Can't wait for next week!

Argus will be a concern next week. The action is only getting started I think. My only wish is that we don't get into a damsel-in-distress situation because I suspect Argus will become aware of YSJ's affection for KMY and try to exploit that situation by kidnapping her or something. I am sure there are other ways to escalate the suspense and tension while keeping MY as a badass partner to YSJ. Regardless, this looks to be a great episode and I am looking forward to subs later today!
