    ​I super agree with you.. having to watch a lot of WGM Korean or Global Versions, I guess it's too much of an effort in their part to always wear the bracelet just for the show... never have I seen any couple do thAt so far just to promote a show... "We are in love" is a very tiny spec of their career. It's not as if it's their bread and butter. They are already "Money Makers"..not to mention , individually wealthy to do such act. I really believe they're doing that for a very personal reason. Not being delulu here. :-)

    ​We're not being delulu anything...we're just being realistic here. Uh, Liu Wen is not going to spend 5000 USD (and more for both parties) of her own money to get some trinkets for both of them to wear just so that they can fool the public into thinking that they're really a couple. :rolleyes:

    I think it's useless at this point to even argue whether they're really together or not; they are, period. I've no idea whether it will last (they probably don't either), but they are 'boyfriend and girlfriend' for now. Sheesh...next thing you people will be telling me is that when Siwon was giving interviews and in effect informing the media that Liu Wen is his girlfriend that that was all a ruse to promote the show, or that went he went around introducing Liu Wen as his girlfriend to all his co-workers that the whole gang was in on the charade that it was all just for show. :rolleyes:

    I examine the facts and the evidence - if I come across something that clearly indicates to me whether they're really a couple or not, then that's what I'll believe. Like, for example when Liu Wen was last in Korea for filming, it's important to note that she was there during Parents' Day which I understand is big in Korea (filial piety being so enshrined in all the Confucian countries); now, if Siwon hadn't taken her to meet his parent/s, I'd have my doubts about whether they're really together, but he did so there you have it.

    I sincerly hope he does have interest in her  genuinely and its not just for the show and trps 

    ​All the tension in that episode seemed to stem from the fact that he was unsure of her feelings and that she was being uncommunicative with him. That's why he wanted to see her on-camera interviews and why he got so miffed when she wasn't responding to his texts, hence leading to that conversation on the sofa. Now, ask yourself: would you really care about how the other person feels about you if you had no interest in him or her? Would you really care if he or she wasn't communicating with you in private?

    If I was Siwon and all I cared about was completing the show, I'd tell myself: Hey, who cares whether she likes me or not? Who cares whether she tells me how she really feels in private? As long as we show up before the cameras and film whatever it is we have to and keep it professional, that's all that really matters. After all, it's not like we'll have to be with each other for months on end. And bear in mind that Siwon has plenty of experience being on variety shows and knows how to just 'act' if required.

    But as we saw from that conversation on the sofa, he was fed up with continuing on the show hence the throwing away of the mission card, and did you see how he smiled when she confessed her true feelings? He was really glad to know that she liked him! Why get so worked up "if she doesn't like me" (his words), if he had no interest in her and all he cared about was finishing the show (which he actually didn't want to)?

    I think from that point forwards, there was an understanding between them: "I like you...you like me...we're officially a couple now and let's see where this goes from here". Hello, have we forgotten that whole ELLE bathtub behind-the-scenes exchange? You guys aren't telling me all that was just acting too?  

    Someone also brought up a good point much earlier about how there were no cameramen filming the conversation on the sofa (the cameras were all hidden or stationary), so what we saw was almost definitely genuine and unscripted.

    Well I'm not surprised if he's wearing the bracelet while the show is still airing on tv. However, if he's still wearing it after the show ends then it would mean something *fingers crossed* :phew:

    ​I highly, highly doubt that they're wearing the bracelets off-camera just to drum up interest in the show. So, Liu Wen gifting Siwon the bracelets on the show was all an act with the implicit (or explicit) understanding that, "Hey, we gotta wear these off-camera all the time to fool those idiots into thinking that we're really a couple!"? Please, give me a freaking break! :rolleyes:

    Logically SM won't mind he dating with her, especially she is a top international celebrity which means a larger publicity for him and the agency as well. The only thing SM concern about if they announcement the relationship openly, fans will mad at SM each time other SM artist join dating program in the future.

    So its unlikely SM will announcement it openly nor denied it if there is a real relationship between them after the show ended.

    As for Siwon himself, after enjoying the relationship openly during this program, I don't think he will mind to hide it after the show ended.

    The whole world knows it already, so it doesn't matter to date openly or not.

    I just imagine if there is a chance for Siwon to see his girl on VS events just like Adam Levine in the past, that would be super awesome.

    Unfortunately, that kind of opportunity is almost impossible as he will be enlisted for military services and also not sure his girl still active as VS angel this year.

     

    I guess ​It's not possible for Liu Wen to join VS because she is under La Perla brand now. An Italian brand way more expensive than VS.

    ​Thanks for that - never seen it before. Liu Wen and Lana del Rey...ahhh...love! :wub: I didn't realize Liu had made so many appearances for Gaultier, but I've read that she's a favourite of his and vice-versa so perhaps I shouldn't be too surprised. IMO, the three loveliest Asian models working right now are Liu Wen, Fei Fei Sun and Sui He (all Chinese), but as the clip you posted demonstrates, although each has their own strengths, none have the versatility, presence, or can walk the runways like Liu does, which may be why she's been the most successful.

    Kindly observe how she's so fierce and commanding on the catwalk but so timid off of it - this contradiction makes her very interesting!  

    Another thing about Liu Wen is that her style off the runways is always sharp - case in point:

    ​I kinda agree with you... I've been watching a number of fashion shows but hers is really very candidly strong... no wonder clients love her esp. high end brands :-)

    I have to wonder: do most of you want this couple to be together for real or not? If the answer is in the affirmative, you should be glad that the show is ending and not continuing! Or would you rather they conduct the rest of their courtship for all and sundry to see? I don't know about you guys, but now that I know they're for real, I'm already starting to feel a little bit uncomfortable (both for them and myself) that they'll have to be on camera as their relationship deepens. It's fine in the early stages, but once they get serious it should stop.

    If they return for the next season of the show (if there even is one), I'll be confident that they're conducting the relationship purely for commercial purposes.

    ​i guess all of us here in this thread want them to have a real romantic relationship.. I get your point.. but for now we really have to just enjoy what they show us in the show.. that's the reason why they met in the first place. to do the show and enjoy how it feels like to have a relationship that they can express themselves even in public esp. for siwon's side and for liu wen to finally try to date (which it is very certain she has no interest dating given the fact she never had one). Eventually they will have to leave the show in the future because of siwon's enlistment to the military. This maybe REEL or REAL as long as in the end they get what they are looking for, It'l be fine.:)

    Hello guys...I'm a super fan of WonWen couple and you guys are really good in updating us... been reading a lot about them in this thread. My first time commenting.. BTW,  does anyone here heard of the song by maximilian hecker about liu wen? Title is " To Liu Wen, The Opposite House, 3am"? I am very curious why he would write a song about her... please enlighten me. :)

    ​Welcome. I actually posted the music video of that song a few pages back, and I think it sounds and looks really cool, so I hope as many as possible will check it out. I understand that Mr. Hecker has a following in East Asia and has performed there, so I can sort of understand Mr. Hecker dedicating a song to an East Asian icon. Just going off of the lyrics, it seems as if Mr. Hecker admires or has a crush on Liu Wen (can you blame him? ;)), and has written lyrics that deconstruct the mystery around her, that attempt to figure her out. It's like when you love or admire someone from afar, and you imagine all kinds of things about him or her. :wub:

    I really wish someone would bring the song and video to the attention of both Siwon and Liu Wen (that is, if they're still unaware); it'd be so interesting to know their reactions. We don't even have to know their opinions of the song; just knowing that they know of it is good enough. :D 

    ​Wow thank you so much for that.. i may have missed that post of yours.:) It was kind of amazing that hecker wrote that song for her..Exact description of how Liu Wen really is.. Some sort of "Mysterious". i thought they were related but can't find news or anything about them..Good to have people who ship WonWen like I do. Thank you . Thank you!:lol:
