I hope with all my heart the amnesia doesnt take more than 3 weeks.
BECAUSE THE major conflict is their relationship anyway..
Like not only do they have to manage the family, they will also have to manage the society since he is a CEO of a large company.
The stakes are huge I tell you and the drama can take its time to focus on that rather than drag this amnesia plot.
I hope this new turn will only help cement his feeling for her so that we dont get that typical noble idiot break-up

Okay I take back my words of waiting till ep 20.
I waited till ep 14 and I just couldnt anymore
Gosh this plot development the speed of light is insane. This DOESNT feel like a weekend drama
1. The ML is such a gentleman with actual conflicts
2. FL is BOLD along with other typical character traits
3. Conflicts resolve so quickly.
I like this pace because I am not sure whats going to happen next week.
Side note:
I think the Dan2 family mellowed a bit, there is no selfish laced craziness from the stepmom. Guess having your mom beat the crap out of you is enough.
I am liking Daebum's arc. He is in his own way resolved to win back See Ryon
And she on the other hand is such a pitiful person but she really needs to wake up and do something.
I want to see her mom get her comeuppance not just for Dan2's sake for Saeryeon's as well.

P.S : The comments I am reading from streaming sites saying that Dan2 was pushy, well yes she was, but remember he barely needed an hour to decide to go and tie the handkerchief. He went back to remove it LATER. I mean the man pretty much made his mind on his own and he needs a push for the roller coaster ride he just pulled

I dont know why but I dont like the drama. Maybe if i didnt read the webtoon i might.
The production and acting are really very good and great chemistry from the leads. BUT
The made Yumi's character shallow and more selfish and kinda annoying. Sure people arent perfect but as a couple they both are OTT. Woong doesnt talk or share anything that important and relevant and
Yumi thinks anything that doesnt aling with her values and thoughts are actions to be hurt.
As a couple they need therapy

This drama is my new crack. Like i know its mostly train wreck and only partly story. But i am hooked. And now that the romance is starting.. I am going to take a break and wait for the next 10 eps before tuning in.
The story is going super fast for a 50 ep weekend drama. Like conflicts and resolutions finish in 2-3 episodes which is Damn fast in K drama standards. So hopefully this amnesia angle [ Which I HATE] goes away soon.
Now Se Ra, in my opinion doesnt deserve anything or anyone. Like this maniac obsession towards her dead friends husband is CRAZY and disrespectful.
Here is to more chaos thats coming.

This two hour episodes left me with FEELS.
Finally, for uri ChuChu, gosh that scene where Ik/jun eyes just popped and he RAISED off the bed was hilarious. No one is more invested than our Cupid.
I freaking love how direct and bold Minha is. SeoKyung too. I am impressed. He was just naturally and confident in that date. Like he decided he is going to go through this and simply enjoy which bought such tears to my eyes. Especially after the hell from last season with his parents.
Anyhow, as much as he made his intentions clear, I was so happy Minha pushed him to actually say the words. Even if you love someone to earth-shattering levels, until you say it out it wont be seen. You can see he was so shy and awkward but he pushed it out as he knew she had to hear it and it was important to her. For him this process of liking her and coming to terms with it was a slow steady one, But for her she had been developing this feeling for two whole years, knowing he too likes her but needs time. For all the comments online about how pushy she was and other blah blah... you forget that Ikjun is the same.
Ex: He is constantly around Songwha, showing his feeling in tiny actions, or simply being there for her and nagging about her health etc etc.. Even after she said to be just friends, he just kept at it, knowing knowing she was just scared and needed all the assurance he can give. That's pushy too but no one comes after the man. Yes the kiss was swoon, but uri Gom-Gom have my full attention.
SK the man, go tackle your mom, have happy dates, kiss uri sweet girl and just be happy.
Oh before I forget Mama Rosa is QUEEN!!

This writer is unpredicatable but there are always clues.
No I dont think its IkJun who got hurt, its a such a cliche.. Its probably from their team
Secon, SK going to US maybe a ruse but like JW says in the preview he would have told his friends if he was leaving for good. I think its more like a year or less training program and he probably wants to be honest with Minha. Or it could like someone who mentioned, that he wants to refer her to the program but knows she might be unwillingly.
Anyway the focus for next episode seems to be Minha so I dont think it's going to be too bad.
The parallelism with WG couple is subtle but SK is more open about his feelings. Minha is not a fool, she wouldnt blatantly keep pinning her hopes if she knew they was no end. She is too smart for that. I think what she wants is a clear answer and not excuse.

A few things before diving into today's episode. Gosh that whole table tennis sequence was HILARIOUS
Is there more romance now? yes
Is there more deep diving into characters ? yes
Frankly I like this. As much as I like medical drama or slice of life; Romance is slice of life and they way they are going about the whole thing, slow, dragging, hesitant, confused, high, low, heartbreak.... without any of the makjang plots ; if this isnt slice of life, then people you need to google the meaning.
Anyway, today episode was precious. and I love how in this season, the emotions are out there for us to see, and its the wait thats left for us.
Take Songhwa, it was apparent she like Ikjun, her hesitancies are purely circumstances and she is growing. They woman just now knows that he likes her, it's endgame to quote Jungwon.
Speaking of the Budhaa, I think he is going to be the nudge who is going to break Gyeowul's wall. If all the hints and our interpretations are correct, then she is overwhelmed that her personal life , work life and family are in one plate. It's hard for anyone to handle like that and once she gets stronger she will take the hands offered. P.S I want her to propose to him like how she did in end of S1.
JunWan and IkSun..... frankly very frankly even though I totally get the ghosting, i am of personal opinion that he deserves better. They both do. Their paring was all wrong. Too cautious, too understanding. no arguments only smiles and good intentions blah blah.. That's paper relationship not commitment. Hell they had better chemistry when they were not dating. Let's see
GomGom.... I want a kiss. I simply want Seokhyung to acknowledge his feeling, sort the issues that will come, prepare himself to be brave and just envelope Mina into a hug as crushing and comforting for them both. She is a fighter and she drove herself into his life, whether he wanted it or not. As overwhelming as it can be, sometimes the person being there is the lightbulb you need. I am sure his mother will have her opinions. but I dont think she was ever the problem. Like Songhwa mentioned, he was always unwilling to open himself to people besides his friends. Even the nurses said that it took him half a year to be comfortable. He is just slow. That't totally OKAY. I think that's why Minah wanted to confess 5 times.

At this point despite many things I just want happiness for Mina. Either she succeed or finally moves on.
She likes him for his nature and that I think is rare for SeokHyung. That he could smile at her confession is proof that he does indeed like her is some form. But again, since she doesnt know his trauma its ALL upto him to decide if he can get over it and begin something new with Mina and see how it goes differently OR let her go. Eitherway, I think Gom-Gom is more about SH realising his own fears and barriers before approaching Minha. He has to. Its the only fair way.
I just hope they dont drag it till ep 12. maybe by 8?
As for IkSun and Jun Wan, i think they are done. She is filled with insecurities she refuses to tackle and I think he will run out of patience and even IkJun wont let his friend suffer.
And IkJun was right that JunWan is walking on eggshells in this relationship. Even in season one if you notice there are a lot of things he wants that she isnt able to provide and maybe doenst want to and the sad part; thats completely okay.
Sometimes even the best and good person might keep you unhappy and if thats so, then its okay to choose your own happiness. Breaking up with a good person is the hardest.

Just finished the drama. Binged the last 10 eps and my bliss when Hao Du just swooped in. I was like Finally finally please live for yourself.
Okay, gripes first because they are minimal:
The last 10 eps were damn very fast and stuffed. conflict after conflict. I mean usually C-dramas can go upto 60 eps, dont know why they had to do it.
Second killing MiMi was UNFAIR. MiJin couple deserved better
and RickRoll'D with the kisses. Shy people
Okay the good stuff. My fav was Leyan. Girl had the most harshest times and she came out swinging and sailed with so much courage. I loved the scene where she refused the coddling from her father after their reunion and used the fancy food to highlight what she saw and how the people are suffering. And how she brushed all she did as nothing more than destiny. Her slow relationship with Hau du was such pleasure. The second she told him she wasnt scared of him I knew they were endgame. He always put her first and despite his own trails, he owned up to his mistakes and was ready to begin fresh. Their story was perfect and CUTE. I just wanted more scenes.
Changge stubborness is her strength and flaw and Dili aced this role. I have been following her since TMPB( horrible character decent acting) and she really commands this role. I think she just does better in period dramas.
I am not a fan of the Main leads romance. It never stuck well with me. They were too much of too much everything all the time. Lol I hoped to see something for Shiba and her' friend'.
But after a long time this is a C-drama I really enjoyed.

Thank you dear Dam and uri newly born , ridiculously tall human Woo-Yeo alias Oreshin.
For the 16 ep journey of so many emotions and laughs.
Honestly, the second i saw the truck of doom I was like damn you meddling MG, leave the boy alone.
The ending was bittersweet for me, it was perfect it sticking to the drama's Gumiho rules but it was a tad over-dramatic.
I really really wanted to see the kind of ending in the Webtoon, because that my chingus was perfect. The webtoon solidified the arc on in transformation and it was a tad more touching for me.
But last minute hijinks, here we come.
I see a lot of fun and hijinks from our power couple, and lol making WY speak FOOD was so funny.
I loved the chatter and responses here. Soompi has always been such a safe and caring place for all drama lovers and I am always thankful for the moderators who go all out and make sure everyone feels welcomed.

The meeting the family thing might not happen as he already met the mom.
In the Webtoon, I dont think her family knew till the very end, but the drama even though it was faithful in a lot of manners needs to be different somehow. Again like i said earlier, The drama covered like 20 chapters per episode and would have run out of content by ep 6.
In all fairness, I think WY forgot his ticking timeline. He might not being a demon beast because his marble almost fully blue but his 1000 yrs is finishing soon. even though MG made the rules he cant bend them just like that. I think if my train of thought is right. Her confessing and saying 'I love you' is what that will make him human. Or we are going to see a rest like in DAYS where he disappears and appears being a fully integrated member of the society.
That will close all legal loopholes, I mean I think they would have to somehow convincing put him in the 30's bracket to be able to data Dam and hold a job.
Lol I cant help but think of such logistics.

Relax @everyone
there should be some angst because he is nearing his 1000 yrs soon. I like that the drama is changing something and I am sure it will be a happy ending.
As for Goblin I think the ending made a lot of sense despite being a tragic one.
The title was a give away, the lonely shining goblin. Plus Eun Tak was to have never been born, hence when she became the Goblin's bride, she finished her life's purpose and hence her end. There was no way they were going to live long and happy with the ever present condition of her 'missing soul' status. Remember when Death followed her everywhere when she was 19, it happened when she was 29, albiet softer but she became his bride hence full swing.
Her being re-born with a new fate is actually a more safe happy ending.
I think this disappearing act is the final push he needs to get that last bit of humanity. Desperation and fear for your loved ones. So far its all for him, now he will gain those emotions for her.

This week was so precious my fav highlights were
1. when she went all crazy trying to get the marble
2. The sibling energy from WY and HS (lol that was the most funniest skinship scene)
3. When she just PULLED the MG towards her, that cracked me up.Here is a GOD who is just thrown off by this human
4. The whole ep 14..
5. again the intense sibling energy from WY and HY; they are just soo childish.
I am glad she explained the marble and humanity issue to him. Now that things are clear its all up to WY to learn how fast he can get this whole 'humanity' business
The only thing I didnt not like was how Dam chose to drop her class because of those annoying brats. Sure, its just a class she can take it next semester but I really wanted WY to step up and say something
This hesitancy is his biggest flaw, he just takes whatever she does for him as is ; only realizing the meaning and consequences late. I guess that sense will be his last bit of humanity
I cant remember if Dam dropped the class in the Webtoon but again its my only gripe. In her aim to make him human again she has put herself in the backseat.
Anyhow, the last 2 mins is going to live rent free till next wednesday.

and I agree with @inaho101 point on Dam's anger. Like I mentioned its too straight-forward for WY and he needs to understand humans are complicated.
The feels are going to be heavy and its for the best.
Again, one cant give him the pass just cause he is fox, its because he really is not capable of processing such things when he never experienced in the first place. For him Dam is truly the first person he wants for himself.

Okay finally key issues addressed.
For all, this is a break not BREAK-UP.
Dam is human and doesnt understand what a Gumiho needs to do to become HUMAN
its very grey.
The main reason I think WY still hasnt become one is because he is , a) has empathy in a odd way. He feels guilty for stealing energy plus I think he only chooses women who he thinks he likes in some fashion.
FOr his looks, he would have had many throw themselves at him and his reluctance is cause he wanted something more each time. That's a complicated human emotion he doesnt understand.
b) Dam needs to know about Gumihos. she has only seen WY's soft and good side. She needs to see all of it.
Hye Sun was right when she said that Dam only know half of who WY actually is and I think the MG also makes the same point. Sure she still likes him as a Gumiho, but maybe she is thinking he a fluffy fox albeit nine tails.
Dont forget when she saw his full form, he was FLUFFY.
c) They both are too clingy with each other and need a break to analyze. WY is scared from his past trauma and he is just hiding all the important stuff till the last minute thinking they are hurtful, which they are. But you are in a relationship , you need to understand give and take. So this a huge learning experience for him to actually effectively break from his sorry/scared shell.
d) For Dam understanding how he lived will make her understand her love for him.
e) I thought this plot device was done well in the webtoon and if it goes the same way, I think Hye Sun will be monumental in setting things right. like any good friend.
Okay that aside, my main gripe was how long drawn the conflict was. For a webtoon I get it as its a small space but this is an hour long drama.
Frankly, they could have finished the Seo Woo conflict last episode and finished this break this episode.
And I feel like Dam's character has lost a bit of spunk. She is just always always worried about him.
Its like watching ep 4 again. Somehow somewhere the drama this week is in the melo genre and not that its a bad thing but its not having any traction.
Anyway next week looks like the big guns are out. It will be interesting to see Dam understand and accept WY which will be his main catalyst to keeping that bead blue and being human.

Totally, this is something I love about this drama
It solves everything very quick. Sure one can say that means there are lot of conflicts but thats life and the point. You will see so many different problems crop in so many ways and you gotta deal with it.
No noble idiocy separation plot.
No unnecessary characters vying for affection
and no RickRoll'D mean and A**holes here.
I mean sure some of the college students are plain annoying AF but they havent crossed a line apart being total jerks, which I am glad.
On to the waiting game. Lol I never learn and endure this all the time
But its worth it when the forum discussions are also very active, its been a while for me.

Finally conflict.
As much as I love fluff and cute, conflicts is a necessary plot device.
First thing: Seon Woo; as much as he is growing into his maturity pants, I trust Dam's belief to be with Woo Yeo.
The whole red string soulmate. Soulmates are never romantic, they dont have to be. SW can grow to become her close friend if she chooses.
WY is not a human and this supposed connection might just drive him to use his head and become human faster. Then we will see how the supposed red string changes.
I am rooting for Dam, as I just want her to kick butt on fate, conflicts and the Mountain God's devious schemes.
