Haven't been stalking a thread since Reply 1988. I wasn't planning to watch this show but I'm hooked now. Has anyone realised the Grim Reaper isn't wearing his hat (closing scene of ep 2) which means he isn't there on official business, isn't it?

This reminds of a recent Taiwanese drama where the male lead who wanted to propose to his ex-girlfriend but she didn't turn up so he gave it away to a random girl (female lead) who was in the area, crying. Years later, they ended up as a couple. The writer better write us a proper closure then.

My thoughts echo many others here. Even if the writer wrote Junghwan as the endgame, she wasted one episode on Taek. If Deoksun dated Taek then broke up, it's just odd that she dated Junghwan's good friend before. Though this happened to my friend in real life, it is just oddddddddd. I don't think i will recover from this. I am not going to watch the next Reply series until the show has completed airing. Urggg my heart.

I am really curious why DS never once mentioned anything about her feelings for JH back in those years. Was it because her friends and her felt that girls should not confess first? Or was it because that they were unworthy? I recall a scene where she told her another friend why did she confess. 4 more days to Friday! At least in my time zone.

This thread is moving fast and furious. I spent the last hour just reading through the pages without even watching any raw videos of this episode yet!
By the way, someone mentioned that Taek's character is based off real-life Lee Chang Ho baduk player. I looked him up and saw that he is married to another baduk player. If the writer follows through and writes that Taek gets married to a fellow baduk player, it follows the theory that he only gets close of those he already knows (as narrated by Taek's dad). I know this isn't the MT but I don't dare to post this in the MT. Anyway, then our JH is the endgame!
