Re a fans post on DC, it's taken from the dialoque in his drama Perseverance Go Haera. The lady, if I'm not mistaken, is Taeyang's girlfriend in real life? Here is the translation of the picture caption:

Also noticed that he uses the shorten name for his DC: Kwak Syang (곽샹) instead of Kwak Si Yang (곽시양). So cute, that shorten name. In our language (Bahasa Indonesia), Syang as verbal, can mean : Afternoon (Siang) or Love (sayang)
. I happen to know a differrent meaning of 'Sayang' in Tagalog, which is a total opposite of Love. But I choose to adopt the love meaning for his name. After all, we are the Berries who love and adore Siso together and individually, right?

JUST A QUICK UPDATE
We have the color and the name choice now, based on the result of our internal voting pool.
Soon, we are going to be known as SiSoBerry, carrying the color of blueberry.
I love the simplicity of the name and the relevancy of the color, although both are not my vote but, let's admit it, isn't it difficult to decide on the name option and the color to vote? Like, all options are equally nice can we just have all the color all the nicknames?
A reminder if you haven't send your date of 1. Your soompi username. 2. Your email address coresponds with your soompi username. And you want to avail the cool SiSoBerry status in your Soompi account, please send your data to my email address: kalyanavania17@gmail.com or you can simply DM me here. @6u2n7a Everyone on this forum, can get the special member status, not justbthe participant and coordinator
But to be able to be included in the special member status, the moderator will need the following DATA FROM EACH OF YOU:
1. Your soompi user name (eq. 6u2n7a, alou, KalyanaV, etc).
2. Your email address that you use with your soompi account. To check on what email ypu use when you registered with Soompi before, go to your soompi username at the right top, click on it, you will see some list. Click on 'Profile' and edit/complete your email address there.
THOSE 2 DATA, ARE WHAT YOU NEED TO EMAIL TO ME at kalyanavania17@gmail.com and I will compile them to be submitted all at once to the contest moderator. This will answer the question from @Alilla as well.
In term of color options: @SamaraP all blue hue had been taken, we cannot choose blue anymore. @Summer Ryn All green colors and 1 pinkish red color are still a available. We will put all the available colors in our internal voting link later on.

@kappy @Alilla Hahaha...sorry to confuse you with the translation. That one, that @kappy quoted from @eyra, wasn't the final translation yet. (In the letter, I addres Siyang as Kwak Si Yang-ssi)... That was my explanation, not part of the translation

I am telling that when Soyeon addressed Siyang as Kwak Si Yang-ssi, that was probably because in the letter for Siso couple, I addressed them both with a polite way: Kim So Yeon-ssi and Kwak Si Yang-ssi. So she might follow how the letter address Siyang, as Kwak Si Yang-ssi. While for the the couple bracelets gift from a fans in Daegu, she address Siyang as Si Yang-ssi, probably also follow how the fans address Siyang . The translation was done by 1 of our dear Indo berry who's too bad, not yet on Soompi, and I simply translate it to English. For the complete and correct translation, it has been shared through @seesaw_love IG yesterday. i will share it again here.

Morning Berries (it's morning for me)
Just read the moderator's post here and I checked on the discussion forum, most of the fandom prefer to wait for the voting using the same previous method (even if it means voting will start a little bit late), instead of start the voting in the soompi forum by clicking LIKE (which means only soompiers that can vote). I think we can also agree to it? It's a bit unfamiliar to change the voting system especially that this is the last round. I think only Siso thread that hasnt posted our preference in the discussion thread, but anyway the majority opinion will win so it doesn't matter even if we choose differently. But to be able to post our preference on the discussion thread, I'm asking our berries here to express you opinion on which method you prefer. I can't post our thread's comment before knowing the majority opinion here. Just manage to appear here now. Had a busy day that made me unable to rerun my sweet Siso doze of the week. And when I got back home tonight I suddenly feel a bit empty. Hmm...guess I'm starting to miss them. Gonna catch up watching their 1st meeting tomorrow, but for tonight, I'm glad this thread is moving good so I have some reading to fill in my withdrawal symptoms. You berries made me can't wait to rewatch it again, while I actually had something to catch up first: Siso last ep with engsub, I havent watched it yet and I'm not planning to do it anytime soon. Enough with the raw and all the messy feeling it created on me. I choose to be happy watching their early episodes.
Speaking of Siso's effect on us, just like @catgoh92 and @seesaw_love, I got affected too. Yesterday, made 24 packets of Siso's matcha cookies for daughter's charity project.
The original plan was choco chips but I made an excuse to include Matcha cookies in the plan. Result? Yummy! We kinda feel sorry to let it go for charity sale
@Summer Ryn Hmm..what can we do to attract more fans to this lovely Siso's thread? I think what you've done so far is great. You always mention Siso soompi forum. Maybe we can add the link to this forum, in our comment on Siso's IG? And fans' IG post for Siso's related as well..at least they can try to check out this forum as the silent lurkers. That's always the 1st step, right? I'm also a lurker for quite some time before starting my 1st Siso post on this thread. Any other idea to promote our thread, berries?

Since we are talking about songs that remind us to our Siso. i wanna share a song too..warning though it's a little bit sad. Some part of me is worried this is what uri Siso had to go through post SGM, but the rest is in the cheerful optimistic side that I don't need to worry about it, it's their life after all and seeing their IG posts I can only capture the positive vibes from these two. Guess I'm just sharing it coz I like the song a lot, heheh...
. Hm.. No voting link yet. Let's wait patiently. I had talked to some international berries in IG, hope we can mobilize more votes this time.

@Z33Ta Get well soon dear. I hv just recovered from a tertrible cold n cough too, last week. So I know how drowsy you might feel..it's probably the cold season now? My son has to be hospitalized due to his terrible persistent cough n cold...
@novikoydy From my limited understanding, the article mentioned about how Kwak Si Yang has potential to enter Japan market and he is condidered one hallyu rookie that brings back the korean wave to Japan.
His daily drama All is Well is airing now in Japan, starting April this year. His other drama Perseverance Go Haera is also airing now in Japan starting May. OMG will be aired there as well, and his WGM will start in KNTV Japan next month. There will also be the DVDs and sales promotion fot almost all of his dramas n movies, which is planned to be done in May June and Oct.
The reason why he is becoming popular in Japan now, is due to his image that treat woman like a goddess, and his drama character that is willing to sacrifice everything for the woman he loves, which fits perfectly to the (romantic) expectation of the Japanese women.
The article also mention his achievement so far with 3 movies, several dramas, kbs drama award, mbc rookie entertainment award, and his recent role in MOTW, it also mention how it is apparent during the press conf of MOTW that he receives many love from fans in Japan. The last part is the thank you notes from Siyang's agency, along w the promise that he will work hard to show steady performance in his upcoming projects and in MOTW.
