    I've been less active these days, I deeply apologize...I didn't feel like writing anything and since I'm rooting for TH/JCW alone, I feel like I don't have the right to comment on this thread anymore :( (still love HJW though, SN not so much)
    I also must confess I've been cheating on EK with other shows *yeah I'm a bad, bad girl* What can I do? Dong Chan (God's Gift) stole my heart. In my spare time, I've also been catching up with some puppy past series (Smile Dong Hae and Warrior Baek Dong Su), Wookie was so young and innocent in SDH and sexy/feisty in WBDS.

    Regarding EK, I couldn't even bring myself to watch last episodes with subs yet...that's how much I'm frustrated [-(
    There's no one to blame but the writers, I'm sorry to say but their nationalistic/patriotic propaganda is distasteful. I understand this a korean drama and that they need to cater to korean audience as much as possible but too much is too much. I'm not much of a patriotic person so I have a hard time understanding this need of pushing/forcing such ideals onto the viewer (probably to boost national pride but still )... I'm watching series/movies to be entertained not to be brainwashed. The Goryeo's martyr act has to stop seriously and the way they're making a laughing stock out of TH, I just can't stand it anymore X(

    So it has been confirmed that a new character has been cast in EK? (Thanks @daegorr @amayah for sharing the news) It appeared it's the new empress, Bayan's niece. Isn't her introduction a bit late in the game? Does it mean that Bayan will turn evil in next episodes?...If that's the case, his words were sure foretelling of what would happen in the future....*though I'm a bit sad, Bayan was a sexy ahjussi*

    I'm excited to see how this new addition will stir up things in our already well-established cast. Will it trigger our SN/LK's jealousy? (I know I would even if I know it's an emperor duty to provide as many children to strengthen/secure his throne) Does it mean that TN will finally make her exit? The old geezer has already lost his mind, it won't be long before he kicks the bucket. And without their charismatic patriarch to lead the way, the clan is undeniably doomed. What about Maha? SN/LK will probably find out next episode that he's in fact her son and not TN's one. Will she keep it a secret from everyone? In the past, I was wishing for her to spill the truth about her pregnancy but not anymore...it's too late. Too much has happened since then... WY is trying to get over her, TH is on cloud nine, it would totally crush their world. But is there a choice? I don't think so...this child's existence has to be revealed to create more and more angst nya nya *still pity the child* One thing I'm sure is that SN/LK will strive to protect her children from the palace's machinations. She will love them equally. It would be out of character if she was to favour one over the other *trying to persuade myself*

    Am I the only one who felt sorry for DK when he grabbed his father's sword to stop his madness? Though I hate ET's clan, I thought this scene was touching *maybe I'm weird*
    Regarding the issue of Maha being accepted or not by paeha, I think we can assume TH will accept him for SN's sake (though reluctantly). It could also explained why TH is so anxious/insecure during the coronation scene, it probably stems from the fact he knows the truth and is afraid that she might run away with WY and her son.

    Though I'm a bit late to the party, I'll try to give my two cents about yesterday episode.
    Like many have stated before me she didn't have second thoughts about sleeping with him (no WY's flashback scenes before doing the deed), which is a major point in our favour imo.... she did it willingly and was even a bit nervous when TH was removing her outer garment. Wangnyang fans can taunt us all they want, the fact remains that she was hesitant before accepting WY's proposal in earlier episodes, she was thinking about another man, TH. I'm not trying by any means  to imply that she doesn't like WY, she loves him, there's no doubt about that but she also has feelings for TH. She is torn between the two guys because she loves both. TH's betrayal is the reason that prevented their relationship from going further imo. At this very moment, she closed her heart to TH.  TH was obviously not an option anymore. Then she returned to the palace to exact her revenge, attempted many times to kill him, failed every time (it did reminded me of The Princess' man) but during her time as a maid she came to realize how powerless he was, how affected she was by his words and how comfortable she became with him (though she still couldn't bring herself to forgive him). TH slowly entered her heart during those times and it might explained SN's overwhelming reaction throughout her confrontation with TH (a lot of screaming, tears, remorse, resent). That's why I'm saying that both guys are on equal footing when it comes to SN's affection.
    Therefore it's unfair to criticize her choice. TH didn't force her to become his concubine, she became one on her own free will.  Her duty as a consort is to bear the emperor's child, she can't avoid it and moreover it's not like she's devoided of any feelings for him. She likes him and was definitely overcome with happiness at hearing the news of her pregnancy.  Lovely scene indeed. Both were utterly delighted.
    I heard that she will give birth in today's episode, I'm so looking forward to this scene. ET might also meet his demise, it's about time! ha ha
    More to come (sorry, I'm a bit tired today, bear with me :) )
