don't be mad) because P and P is a gripping, well thought-out drama, solid writing, and chemistry amongst the whole cast is really good. So I don't think viewers watch it because they have no choice.

You're kind of right in the assessment of SD. I followed a conversation on rating on Twitter and someone talked from Korean perspective. Aside from being boring, SD was not too careful about details--like the girl was using non-honorifics towards the king, she used royal clothes which would otherwise result in punishment. These frustrated serious sageuk viewers so even some of them gave up watching. SD promoted itself as a serious sageuk, so they should have been careful with the details. Also some stuff she mentioned that international viewers won't notice because we're relying on subs.
I think Healer just needs to have a really good plot and a solid story to catch up. P&P's fans are already established, but that doesn't mean that Healer cannot do well either. The beginning will probably be shaky, but good feedback from audience will make people interested to watch it. -

Aww...I love the K2H couple! I actually like TK2H better than SeGa. First time I've watched LSG and fell in love with him there. Also liked the touch but very feminine character of HJW in this drama.
Alien boy again? I have nothing against him, but why does it seem that Jun Ji Hyun was forgotten by these award-giving bodies? Imho, if it wasn't for her portrayal, the drama wouldn't be that interesting.
If HJW will emcee, are we going to see JiJi in the red carpet together? *wishful thinking* -

Hope so, too! Would love to see her in a female-centric drama. I think you're right about FTLY. But JNR was able to portray Mi Young in such a way that she didn't look like she was second fiddle to Lee Gun, and I think this really proved her acting prowess.
Regarding Baek Jin Hee (sorry for OT), I think MBC started to really favor her since Empress Ki. There were many posts about her character being extended further than planned because the K-netz loved her. Actually, I didn't see any in FTLY, but during EK, and we have someone translate a report from MBC after each episode. Basically MBC gathers comments from social media, as well as phone calls, and put them up on their site. The station I guess is really very conscious of viewer feedback. -

But, I think Pinocchio is highly anticipated not only because of the stars but because it's the team behind IHYV (If I'm not mistaken), but like you, I'm not too interested in it. Matter of preference, I guess. But next week's ratings should be interesting. My first impression of Mr. Back (without subs) is that it's freaking hilarious. Maybe even more so if there'd be subs.
Anyway, any news of HJW? Is she still in Hollywood? Did she watch the play. Seems like she didn't. *sobs*
I wonder if she'll do another drama?
