Han Ji-hye's front and back, shocking
Actress Han Ji-hye is coming up with something shocking. The dress she's wearing for the filming of the new KBS2TV drama "The Full Sun" has a shocking back.
The still cut of her on the 21st shows her as jewelry designer Han Yeong-won. The dress she is wearing looks elegant and graceful and the twist at the back makes one stare in awe.
Apparently, Han Ji-hye has been doing her best in styling herself for the drama. They fuse very well, Han Yeong-won and Han Ji-hye and hopefully that can be a source of concentration for those watching the drama.
Netizens say, "Oh my goodness, I was surprised", "It's sexy and elegant", "It's such a unique idea" and more.
"The Full Sun" is about the sad love between Jeong Se-ro (Yoon Kye-sang) whose life is turned upside down because of a shooting incident and Han Won-yeong. To be aired on the 17th of February.

Ha Ji Won Talks About Filming the Difficult Childbirth Scene in “Empress Ki”
Actress Ha Ji Won talked about filming the difficult childbirth scene in “Empress Ki” at a press conference for the drama on January 20.
She said, “Rather than the action [being difficult], I got pregnant and had to have a child in a cave. It was the hardest thing for me since I started acting. I almost even passed out.”
“I had to do the scene in a block of ice about 10cm thick. My whole body went numb and I felt like I was turning into ice. When I came out, the staff started massaging my body to get the blood flowing, but it felt like my body was going to shatter, so I told them to stop. Portraying emotions that come from a very extreme situation was very difficult.”
“Seeing that I didn’t have much action, but a pregnancy scene instead, and that I would have to portray the emotions of a woman having a fatherless child all in a single episode, I was really on edge. If my portrayal of anything like morning sickness was poorly done, I worried a lot about how the following episode would come out. As it was my first time acting this sort of scene, older people around me really helped out a lot. I tried my best, and everyone says I did a good job, so I feel good.
Ha Ji Won also mentioned that she’s not feeling her best right now, but that she is determined to get her footing back again and show everyone yet another side of her character.
“Empress Ki” is a 50-episode historical drama starring Ha Ji Won, Joo Jin Mo, and Ji Chang Wook, and is currently at the lead of the Monday/Tuesday airing dramas.. -

[HanCinema's Film Review] "When A Man Loves A Woman"
Tae-Il (played by Hwang Jeong-min) is a gangster. No, this is not a gangster movie- the main character just happens to be a gangster. It took me awhile to get past this stumbling block in the plot. For most of the opening salvo of this movie, Tae-Il just does boring everyday gangster stuff like hassling people for payments, with no hint of a broader crime-based storyline. All that really happens long term are his awkward come ons to Ho-Jeong (played by Han Hye-jin), a woman who for some time regards him with base hostility.
The fact that Tae-Il keeps pursuing Ho-Jeong, and does not take no for an answer, made me uncomfortable for awhile. But then I started thinking. Tae-Il never really says anything that could be clearly interpreted as a love confession. And neither does Ho-Jeong say anything that could be clearly interpreted as a no. They just spend scene after scene together managing to not actually say much of anything.
As a love story, this is wholly unconvincing. And that's entirely where the appeal of "When A Man Loves A Woman" lies. In real life, love stories are never convincing. There's no grand sweeping romantic gestures- just spending increasingly longer stints of time together until something more manages to come out of it. Relationships are fickle things that can be ruined by the most inconsequential arguments. Bigger problems can pop out to be sure- never foreshadowed, yet always an obvious presence.
The film treats Tae-Il's gangster lifestyle with the same uninteresting breadth. It's never clearly explained what the gang's broader activities are and how Tae-Il's function relates to them. He's just a collector, an enforcer who doesn't question orders and is rewarded for his efforts with good pay and protection from the legal system. There's no sense that Tae-Il can really quit the gang life. It's not a matter of choice or fear- rather, his life as a gangster is an extension of his self, and this isn't a part of him that can be easily shifted to another job.
Which, as well, is an extremely human one that transcends his profession. Pay close attention to Tae-Il's non gangster family. His brother's just a barber. But they all have that same basic sense of aggressive attitude, a lack of verbal input, and yet with all that a clear desire for intimacy. These are all very human characters, with their own small foibles that never really rise up to level of cinematic quality- and yet there's an empathy there that really makes them appreciable as fellow human beings.
It's difficult to recommend "When A Man Loves A Woman" in the grand sweeping vein of cinema spectacle, because the narrative doesn't connect on that level. But then it's not really supposed to. Near the end Tae-Il makes a final request. And what he asks for is remarkable- this man has never been good with words, always much more at home with the strength of his fists. He was always paying attention, though. He really was thinking of Ho-Jeong, even if on so many occassions we in the audience were never really sure about that. It's a heartbreaking moment, and a strong reminder how to an outside observer, there are means of love that go beyond the standard tropes of filmmaking.

"The Full Sun" Kim Yoo-ri-I's first short hair cut
Kim Yoo-ri-I had her cut short.
She takes on the role of a cheeky fraud called Seo Jane in the new KBS 2TV drama "The Full Sun".
The stills of her look boyish but cold at the same time. This is her first time cutting her hair that short.
Kim Yoo-ri-I's character of Seo Jane is so bright and cheerful it makes one wonder how she became a fraud but she's hard to read. She is also torn between the romance with Yoon Kye-sang (Jeong Se-ro) and Jo Jin-woong (Park Kang-jae).
Currently in Thailand for the drama, Kim Yoo-ri-I is passionate about her work. She's been taking part in her styling as well as her acting and is synchronizing perfectly with the character of Seo Jane.
A "The Full Sun" crew member said, "She's one of a kind this time and Seo Jane is going to steal the attention of all the viewers. Her bold but carefree character is part of her friendliness as well and we can expect many things from Kim Yoo-ri-I".
Meanwhile, "The Full Sun" is about a man and a woman whose lives completely change after a shooting incident and is highly expected by many.
Kim Yoo-ri-I, the chic and proud actress can be seen on the 10th of February after "The Prime Minister and I".
