Hmm but let's assume that with SOG 's character will he ever give up? No
He gave her one of his eyes and he is so powerful so he will DEF get her back no matter whateven if it cost him everything.
He broke his promise 25 years ago so this means he will keep his promise this time.
He lost her twice already and he def can't live without her so for the third time he won't ever let her go again
hmmph... amnesia plot is 100% unnecessary. It's like they don't know what to write for the last ep so let's have a parallel scene where Sunmi ran around chasing after OG this time .. and " oh let's add lots of flasbacks too so it will be easy to filmed"

You know the memory loss never made sense to me. He should have remembered her the minute he saw her. His love was so deep for her, I could't fathom how he couldn't remember her when she was standing right in front of him.
According to the "AMAZING" writer nim, he was too damaged after fighting the dragon... if there's no GGG he would have perished
it's okay if it only lasted for like a brief moment.
like you said, the moment he saw her he should have remembered her immediately. The last ep should have focused on him taking her from the underworld. It doesn't have to be grant with all CG effects, etc.. even if it's just showing him getting angry and ready to destroy the heaven +world is more than enough. Or showing the peddler as the samsin goddess of saving Sunmi...showing that her kind heart and sacrifice were rewarded

Yeah, even a special episode..of 15-20 minutes would do..even 5 minutes where SOG meets JSM and gets her out of the Land of Dead. I'm seriously afraid IF there is a season 2 then the OTP or one of them..mostly JSM may change. So a special would be better.
Even episode 21..I don't really care about MW and his son storyline. LOL. I'm a selfish fangirl who wants my OTP. That's all.
I'm just including Mawang to sound nice and not sounding to otp obsess (although my heart says different things)

Still I am under an impression that SOG was the one burying her before going off to fight the Black Dragon. Could even think
that he sealed her off with his power so that he could retrieve her soul back from the Netherworld afterward. But then he lost
his memory. I firmly believe he definitely wouldn't allow anyone to touch her corpse,
even more so if it's her heartless relatives who he'd seen firsthand mistreating Sun Mi for her entire human life.
Judging from SOG character, he won't let anyone go near Sunmi's body. I think other than the pain and memory loss, the reason he sealed Sireumdong was because of that reason too. I don't think he will ever bury her body... he gonna retrieve her soul and bring her back
Uurgh stupid writers *sorry*.. still can't believe they wrote such scripts for the last ep. I'm still bitter that Sunmi's miserable life since birth because of her burdensome fate was made into a joke
anyhow read that the ending was like that because of the time constraint in when filming the last ep???

this girl is just too pathetic and lame to be a villain.
Better continue making her a vengeful, manipulative, and evil vamp till the end but then suddenly became weak with PK words.
It would have made sense if Buja is still in her body but apparently that soul has vanished long time ago . i got cheated big time...
there is this awesome fanfic. That connected SOG past with JinSunmi. The humans begged him to put out the volcano that kept on errupting fire by giving him a bride. That bride was Jin sunmi... and the reason she has this sweet lotus scent was because SOG stole a lotus from the Buddha lake and it fell to the human's world hence baby Jin Sunmi was born.
SOG was punished for stealing the pillar to help the human . He felt betrayed but Sunmi offered herself to use her blood to seal the demon and lighten OG's punishment.
Before jumping in, she gave her a bottle of wine that made him forget her

I remember last Saturday how we were all theorizing about SOG bringing back JSM's soul and turning her into a deity in the last episode. *sigh* Those writers.Damn withdrawal.
Wish I'd just been pissed off with the ending, instead of also being heartbroken for my OTP. That would have made it so easy to move on.
That's what happened with Gu Family book. I was so annoyed and angry at the ending(They made KC wait for 500 years for YW's reincarnation) that I didn't feel any withdrawal when the show ended. I just moved on easily...Unfortunately that's not the case right now.

The arriving of the doomsday was introduced since ep 4 so i'm really anticipating it rather than just fighting mere demons or evil spirits but yeah it failed to meet up the high expectations. When Sunmi had that foresighr from the broken jar , i thought it was super cool
ASN and KDS have the potential to be impactful villains too. A priestess who was burried alive, manipulative, and able to make anyone a king. Even soobori have to discuss with the heaven cos she is not to be taken lightly.
The death bell fate was done beautifully as a symbol to every Samjang and it's guardian fate . The otp love story touched me. When they tryto protect each other no matter what with OG confronting SooBori that he will protect Sunmi till the end and gonna make the heaven regret big time if she ever died.
Ep 18 also gave a big hint that they will be able to change this fate
But when ASN power was taken away and started having feeling for PK. It was so absurd... after ep 15 OYS potrayal of scary ASN and suddenly they turn her into a pathetic cute character when she went back to use Buja's body.
It would have more impact if she and KDS really teamed up together but i was still hopeful that they will show Buja soul coming back before really perishing. If she died protecting Sunmi or PK, her death won't be so much in vain.
still 18 eps of this drama was really good : angst and chemistry were done right but the last 2 eps were just craps. They should have made Mawang, PK, and GF fought the dragon together with OG.
Until ep 19 Mawang still tried to betray OG to take the samurai sword just because he was promised to become a deity (if not for Sec Ma butting in) Another useless scene was PK bringing the lighter to kill ASN and ended up making a takoyaki instead
gosh if these last 2 eps were done right. This drama could have been perfect...
tell me what is in Hong sister's brain while writing the final episodes????

Given 20 eps they should have been able to wrap up the drama nicely. They have given lots of nice hints and it all went poof in the last ep like they were all nothing.
hong sisters dramas usually end at ep 16 with Master Sun (17) as exception but i remember the casts not being happy about the extention at all.
Gaaah.... i kinda wish the castswould want to do another season 2 . This time properly as the gang have come really together to save the world. Since season 1 still showed their distrust and fights btw each other
They should have treated this drama better. It was sold to lots of countries and China success in Korea as well. Moreover they have all those merchandises that are sold widely.
I'm guessing they won't be selling the death bell as merchandise right?cos fans are so ready to buy and burn them

I wouldn't worry about Han Joon. He is a nice, sincere, and hardworking man. Sunmi inheritance for him is also abundance lol. She also saw his happy hending at Hanbyul's wedding..
this weekend feels so empty without Hwayugi. Sigh... i can't believe that it's only been one week since the drama ended

She was thrown rocks, bullied, and live full of fear everyday.
Even when she decided to carry on her dury as samjang, those demons who she treated sincerely keep keep taling advantage of her and so ready to hurt her anytime. The most horrible thing is she died in vain
the villains in this drama are truely the heaven and humans. I get so angry every time i remember Soo Boo Ti face uuurgh....next time OG should break you instead of the table.
I still can't watch any dramas too, the withdrawal symptom is sooo soooo severe .
Want to do another marathon of this drama cos i miss the otp but still scared to do so haha.
