There are some things that only fans or the audience would notice, this could be one of the many. But sometimes, it's better that JG doesn't notice it cause it comes out naturally. Just my two cents~

Btw, I have this thought about LJG kind of weird*. I think LJG is a thinker. He may look goofy and funny on the outside but he is actually not that easy to fathom in the inside. He is a visionary type of guy I guess. I can't help myself but wanting to be with him in whatever he envisioned. Somehow I want him to pursue and be successful in movie production.
P.S. *Sorry if it sounds like I said LJG is weird. I mean my thought is weird because why I would I think about someone in depth... his personality... what he has to achieve. Weird is good. Weird is interesting. Weird people don't conform to what is dictated as normal. For them it's more of quality over quantity. So if you say Joon Ki is "kind of weird", then it's good because he really does think about everything. And also, being deep is better than being shallow.
I'd have to agree with you on that one, he seems to like that whole "fighting for freedom and protecting the weak" thing. I haven't seen all of Joon Ki's doramas/movies, but Wang So, Kim Eun Oh and Kim Sung Yeol does share this characteristic.

Well being an actor is still a job and having to go through auditions/castings is like going to a job interview. An actor not getting accepted could mean that they don't meet the qualifications or simply, said actor is not the right actor for the job. So in short, Joon Ki not getting a part doesn't mean he's not good enough. It just means that the casting department thinks that there's someone else that's more suitable for said role.

Any actor who do their own stunts, without a stunt double is always awesome to watch. This is what I admired from Satoh Takeru when he did the Rurouni Kenshin trilogy film. Well he's a breakdancer so he is also very flexible and tough. As for Joon Ki, well, he does his stunts like only he can... in his own style and he totally owns it every single time. And he does look cool in it!

It's been evident since episode 1 that Wang So is a simple-minded person. He even said that love and friendship is the same to him. But, it don't matter cause Hae Soo and everyone in here loves him all the same. And it's actually kinda cute when he tries to shorten Soo's modern words.

MLSHR... oh the feels, the feels.... it's so intense! Well, Joon Ki plays Wang So with such power and intensity that anyone who'd watch it would definitely feel that way eventually.
Well currently downloading it and having the entire dorama in my laptop, and will be watching it over and over for the next few months. Hope I don't get a heart attack sooner or later hahaha.

Cosplayers are the people who dress up as a fictional character (it could be from a movie, anime, dorama, manga, or any fictional material) and acting that said character out. You would usually find cosplayers in events like anime conventions.

As for how long for him to get out of character, it might be a good question to ask him if anyone ever gets a chance. But, in my experience, it's harder to "get out" of character than to "get in" to character. I only act out a certain character for a few hours in a day (cosplayer here), what more to an actor who does it in a few months. And, the longer you do a certain character, the harder it is to shake it off once it's done. Hoping what I'm saying is making any sense.

It really does look good on him even if it's covering almost half his face! That hair is one of the reasons why Wang So looks hot (not to mention it adds mysteriousness into the character).

That's what makes him a great actor. He doesn't stick to one type of character. It would be hell boring if every drama he is type-casted (referring to those actors who are casted as chaebols/playboys in every single drama). Kudos to Joon Gi for having great choices with his projects. ^^

Whatever JG does, he always does it with awesomeness. As I mentioned in the Wang So x Hae Soo thread, the role of the 4th prince is really meant to be for Joon Gi. He totally owned it!
If he gets paired up with Ha Ji Won then they will need a really interesting plot and pulling it off will be tricky. Ha Ji Won isn't the damsel-in-distress type of a female lead nor can you put her into that type of character, it just doesn't fit her. But if this happens, then expect that there will be loads of action sequences in that movie/dorama.

MLSHR love story somehow touch me deeply...and funny is..it is just a drama. No love should be ended like WS/SH love story... It is the saddest love ever.. Even listening to OST...my heart broken into pieces all over again...

Well LJG is a workaholic so he better get new projects ASAP or he would feel bad. That's just how workaholics are~ ^^
MLSHR has a really good plot and no matter how sad the ending and tragic the ending is, it's the best one for the story. I just feel bad for their kid that she wouldn't know that her real dad is the king.
As for how LJG plays Wang So, I'd have to agree that the role really belonged to him and he OWNED it! He plays the 4th prince with such power, aggression and at the same time, he can also be vulnerable and gentle (especially when he's with Hae Soo). Wang So is actually a nice and caring person, he just doesn't know how to express it most of the time hihi.

In regard to the Soompi awards, let me share with you just how much of an impact our thread alone can make. @chi13lou counted at least 109 of us in a roll call (maybe more). If ALL of us voted our daily maximum of 24 votes for each category, in one category alone our votes will total 2,616. And that's just for one category. I know some of you are like me -- I vote 24 times in each category, which means I cast 240 votes each day. I know it sounds like a lot, but together, we really can move the needle so that the drama and our OTP have a real chance to win.
What do we get if we succeed and our drama wins top honors? Who knows. I heard a rumor we might get a special thank you from Joongi and/or Jieunie.

Just finished watching " 달의 연인 - 보보경심 려 " in one go yesterday (I really tried to finish as I am always busy with things like cosplay) and was instantly hooked to it (hooked to the 4th prince Wang So in particular). @meili29 yeah it looks like a nice dorama to watch after a long day's work. Currently watching episode 3. Not much Daniel so far at this point but looking forward to more Daniel moments in the following eps haha.
GWR is one special character to a lot of girls here, even to Jinhyuk himself. Who wouldn't love WR? He's one cute, charming character.

And after 2 years, he does a character that reminds him of GFB. It's just been days since he's been in the military but it felt like months already. Oh I should stop before I start crying in here.

Just saw the trailer of "Vampire In Love" and Jin Hyuk's few seconds in there is just... Oh dear, words cannot describe it. That smile though...it's like "please wait for me. I'll definitely come back after 21 months."
Looking forward to the movie and I hope I don't end up crying when I finally get to see it.

Hey! It's been so long since I've last been here and so many new faces! This thread definitely grew bigger! I should be preparing for another cosplay project, yet here I am... back to this thread showing some love to the actor who seriously turned my life into a total 180 about 2 years ago. 21 months is nothing, I can wait. I did it once, doing it again is not a problem. So it's 12/30/2016 eh? That gives me enough time to prepare for a CJH tribute project haha. Going back to the character I've been most known for in the span of 2 years as a cosplayer: Gu Wolryung (I'd be nice this time haha) At the group hug thing, can I join? :DDDDD

Asking the hacker like only JK can get away with. That's just so adorkable! Like if I were the hacker, I think I'd just stop hahaha
It's these flaws that makes his characters more real and three-dimensional. It's what makes the audience sympathize with the character more. No one's perfect and everyone does make mistakes at some point. Even vampires bleed, even someone as OP as Kim Sung Yeol bleeds and falls down. It's more interesting this way rather than watching Kim Sung Yeol go super saiyan-mode and beat the crap out of Gwi in a snap.
But yeah, I agree with this 10000000000%. Joon Ki is a very talented and awesome actor. He can totally take on anything and make it his own.
