@hrkharis IU has an absolutely beautiful voice. I first saw her in Dream High (2209 or 2010). It was about kids at a school for the performing arts who are trying to become stars. She sang, and played piano and guitar, she was so adorable (although they made her wear a fat suit through most of the drama hahaha). From what I saw of Bel Ami her character is NOTHING like Sun Shin, but fans like to start rumors especially when their fave male or female star gets paired up with someone they didn't chose or don't like.

@hrkharis I watched YTBLSS. I really enjoyed it, I'm a fan of IU and JJS was just adorable in it. I will probably watch King to Hearts that had JJS and Lee Yoon Ji (Wang Family) in it, because I heard it was pretty good. I was trying to watch Bel Ami but gave up after 1 episode...I think I will wait for it to complete then watch.
@tamz So you're a Masochist LOL Good luck with the new novel. I swore off tv novels after Love My Love, but still ended up watching the following two. I've learned my lesson and won't be back. I can say that with confidence because I no longer have cable and will not make the effort to find it online. -

So i would like to thank @timsha for all the great re-caps, they were so detailed that most times I rarely went back and re-watched the subbed episodes. Best of luck to all my friends and travelers of Tv Novels, but this is my stop, I am getting off the this train hopefully never to alight again. I'm sure I will see many of you in other threads. @lindab12 EH had been living in the US with VP for the past year. When they came back EH went to the lighthouse and SJ turned up. They left together to go see SG in mental home END. Its up to you to decide on whether or not she and VP are together in US or she still cares for SJ. She just treated him like a friend she was glad to see; however I think they first met at the lighthouse.

What I say...A crapfest of Korean Forgiveness Bullsht!
SG could never be prosecuted for Doeksu's murder but what about the rest? KYP was originally living in Busan, who is to say that he didn't have some family and relatives that may concerned over his disappearance. Kang Jaepil went to prison for JT's death but he told that SG was involved. LK has forgiven him for trying to kill her? WHAT ABSOLUTE BULLSHT! SG not even at a hospital for the criminally insane! Everyone gathered around him like he was the victim in all this. I could careless who EH ended up with I just wanted SG to pay for his crimes. This really should have been Tv novel Soek Gu, EH was just a dumb azz character in this drama. She did nothing in the search, apprehension, or punishment of the person who really killed DS. All EH and HJ did the entire drama was walk around looking guilty and living in LALA Land. Its obvious that being hit by a car and then having her oxygen supply cut off has left LK as big a DIMWIT as EH and HJ. She was only mad at SG for the killings, and her attempted murder for 5 minutes!
I will not be looking at the new tv novel. I am going to go watch that oldie Princess' Man. I may MAY watch Angels Revenge, but I know going into a revenge drama that the female will forgive in the end. -
@hrkharis Actually Halmoni got along well with father Time and Sundeok. Haengja would always start things with Sundeok and SD would put her in her place or go see Halmoni and tell them what Haengja and Baeksu had done and Halmoni would side with her and her father. I find halmoni just as shameless as the Cha's, she knows that HJ, the women she has berated and cursed at for 25 yrs lives there and still she went there. HJ is a idiotic dimwit like her daughter, maybe in time I could forgive her, but not less than a week after finding out what SG has actually been doing all this time and only a couple of days since halmoni last spit her venom. And HJ and EH showing pity and concern for them is ridiculous even now YJ and SG are still blaming other people (namely EH and VP) for their problems in life.

I haven't seen much of you lately, have you just been lurking or busy with other things? ANyway we are all scratching our heads or butts over this ending.I am so fed up with evil people going scot free in these dramas or committing suicide, or dying. As if them being dead will erase all the harm they did throughout the entire drama. Makes me sick and hate Korean scriptwriters. I'm going to write my own Korean drama and NO ONE GETS OFF IN THE END! There may even be a scene at the end showing some of them burning in hell! I couldn't do any worse than the crap that these writers are putting out. -
LMAO @timsha =)) =)) See if you were a Baptist then all you would need to do would be to kneel down before bed and say, "LORD forgive me" Done and done, no need for a middle man to talk to GOD. lolYeah but I felt the same way after seeing the Thorn Birds and then fantasizing about the Youth pastor hahaha. I can't even remember what he looks like but I remember what Richard Chamberlain looked like back then. :-*

@krgeek You are so right...VP should not have to give anything back. They make it out like HE STOLE the deeds. SG stole those deeds and gave them up as collateral. The VP didn't make him do this, he (VP) just bought a bad debt. If I were him I'd burn the house down then sell the factory for scrap then sell the land to Incheon Redevelopers lol, but I sure hell wouldn't give it back, especially seeing as how SJ just wants to bring everyone back home and ignore the fact that there are four people in their graves because of SG's actions.

@timsha I like revenge dramas but when it is woman out for revenge it always ends up the with same forgiveness bullsht! The Thorn Flower was good until the last month or so, then went up in a raging ball of stupid scenarios, bad script writing and forgiveness. And this was one woman who deserved to get her revenge on people. So in this new one you described you should know right off the bat if she was a nun she will forgive everyone that has wronged her in the end.

OK so what am I missing? Does no one give a rats azz about the murder of KYP? or the attempted murder of LK? SG cannot be tried or convicted for Doesu's murder because of statute of limitations, But he damn well can be prosecuted and imprisoned for everything else he has done. I don't understand why he is not sitting in a jail somewhere rotting?!? How can anyone think of forgiven him and he hasn't done one damn thing to repent, change his ways or act contrite? It's just mind blowing to me. And Halmoni is shameless too! After all the venom she has spit at HJ she has the nerve to go move in there also? Everyone in this drama are a bunch of IDIOTS!! Except for VP.Sorry but I need to go brush my teeth and gargle to get the vile taste of this drama out of my mouth!

I'm still really hoping that Mr. Pang is a friend of VP, maybe an old friend of his fathers. Anyway YJ definitely takes after both her parents. That Queen snake Gilyre didn't leave until they were put out, and I bet on the way out she didn't give those passbooks back to halmoni with the money she knows her husband stole from the factory. I already more than a bad taster left in my mouth from this shameless family, but it will most likely get worse because HJ and EH will forgive them all and act like it's all sunshine and rainbow kisses. -
I know that once SG had that story released about EH and VP being siblings that they would never be allowed to marry, which is perfectly fine with me because I don't want him to end up with a dimwit for a wife. And in the last few episodes EH seemed to be through with SJ when she realized he was covering up for SG, So I am really PISSSED that the writer has thrown all that out the door and she is chasing SJ like he is the one that has been shunned, homeless, kicked out of town, jobless, scared, separated from family and friends, etc for the past 5 yrs! I am an angry Taurus, so believe me when I say I HAVE NO INTENTION WHATSOEVER OF EVER WATCHING ANOTHER TV NOVEL!!

Why the Hell is Sambong carrying Gilyre and Yj's bags??? Like he they house servant. I know there ain't no way in hell they thinking about staying at Father Times house? I tell you they are one shameless family. I just don't understand once Gilyre knew Halmoni knew why she would still stay in that house? And then both YJ and SG blaming all their problems on EH and VP. I really don't like where this is heading, I wanted the VP to slap the snot out of EH, because she is back to being STUPID! I wouldn't have given a rats azz about SJ (weak azz punk), he kept quiet and JT is dead. Why would she still want him? He knows everything SG has done and he still wants to protect him?
Did I hear wrong....did VP call loan shark uncle? someone who understand let me know. I watched it a couple of times but I couldn't tell. -

@timsha @hrkharis I too am done with long extended drama's. After that nightmare SMH I'm surprised I even bothered to continue with this one. I usually watch weekend drama's which are about 50 episodes long, but timsha is correct in that the more episodes there are the more it is likely you'll end up pisssed off and frustrated at the end. The only 2 long daily dramas that I watched and didn't end up pulling my hair out was 2011/2012 Cheer Up Mr.Kim and The Moon and Stars. Don't get me wrong they had their problems but overall they were very enjoyable to watch.
Recently I watched Blade and Petal (20ep) super sad ending, but the acting and photography were absolutely beautiful. The Good Doctor (16ep) was also good..timeline needed work, but still very good. If you're into teenagers the The Heirs (16ep) was really good. Try a few oldies but goodies like The Sungkyunkwan Scandal, or Boys Over Flowers both about 16 episodes long. Just poke around at your favorite drama site, read a few descriptions and then watch an ep or 2 to see if you like it. Anyway happy viewing

Frankly SG got off easy with only getting the water treatment so far. On Samsaengi they beat JS with a stick first or was it the electrocution? Either way SG got it easy. lol. And like I said HJ really is EH bio mom not going to believe until she get proof. Yet it seems in the preview that all they had to do was show halmoni the letter and she knew what they said was true. EH had been told over and over and shown the letter and she still didn't want to believe. Had not SJ stopped her she would have given SG the letter that day in the office.
If I had been EH, when YJ came to my house I would have thrown boiling water on her, slapped and kicked her a few times, then thrown her out in the streets! I mean she has some damn nerve to show up and beg them to stop WTH! She would not have walked out of my house on her own feet. And while I always thought SJ was just boring and bland, I now find him a pathetic excuse for a man. He is weak and spineless. Even now knowing that everything is about to come out he still hasn't told his grandmother, He would rather she found out on her own than try to gently tell her the truth. Pathetic Loser is all can say about him! He can just go ahead and marry YJ and leave the country for all I care.
Anyone notice that VP still calls Hj "Ommoni"or Mother in Law....hahahahaha. He still likes that dimwit. If he didn't he should be calling HJ aunt or something else. -
@quittingtvnovels What do you mean? The re-caps done here are from the raws. The raw unsubbed episodes are 10 ep. ahead of the subbed ones. I think that's pretty good for KBS. I've watched a lot of daily drama's and the subs are usually 20-30 or more ep. behind the raw. I live in the US, I watch the raw, read the recaps here and if I need to I then go later and watch on KBS youtube channel the subbed ep when it is available. So if you looking for timsha's ep120 re-cap then you will have to scroll back quite a few pages.

@buzzzz A romance was never gonna happen between EH and VP. They are by Korean law siblings, even if they never met, or grew up with one another. The writer made it clear again that this was not an option when SG placed that article in the paper telling everyone they were step brother and sister but in an indecent or incestuous relationship. I am glad she never did have feelings for him because she was the biggest IDIOT in this drama and he deserved sooooooooo much better.
