OMG IU + SAGEUK = PERFECTION
Rather than a KBS drama, i'm actually hoping for IU to get casted in a SBS / tvN drama. These channels have the best writing and production team.Especially tvN, because they usually have edgier plot and no boundaries to deliver it.. If IU wants to completely shed her "nation's little sister" image, this cable channel would be the perfect choice. Maybe like a highschool / college drama keke. (the only downside is cable channel tends to have hotter kiss scenes) :\"> -

As how we usually add hashtags to our pictures, the person hashtagged Choi Woo Sik, and Kim Wan Sun.
So....There's a huge possibility that IU will be doing a remake of Kim Wan Sun's song. Kim Wan Sun was a really popular singer back in the 80s.And Choi Woo Sik (an actor) will probably act in the MV.What do you guys think?I'm so EXCITED \:D/ \:D/ -

I honestly feel bad about this..I don't want IU to accept the offer but I know how passionate she is about acting, and in one of her previous interviews she said she really wanted to take more roles...
But the timing is just not right.. She's in preparation of her concerts, a remake album in the making, and to add a drama in the mix, I can't even imagine how tiring it will be for her( (
and even worse, the male protagonist is yoo in na's BF. I feel so iffy about this -

IU confirmed to star in 'Pretty Man' as a 4D girl who has a crush on Jang Geun Suk
IU has now been confirmed for her next production,'Pretty Man', meaning she'll be starring alongside the already confirmed Jang Geun Suk in the new KBS 2TV drama.
As mentioned before, IU will be taking on the role of Kim Bo Tong. Like her name which means 'ordinary' or 'average' in Korean, the character is an ordinary girl but has a lovable charm. She also crushes on the 'pretty man', Dok Go Ma Te (Jang Geun Suk), whom she fell in love with at first sight during middle school. Everything she does is for him, and she'll do all that she can to protect her love for him with her 4D ways. Reportedly, she'll find herself in a love triangle with him as well as Lee Jang Woo's character Choi David.
'Pretty Man' is a story about a man with a pretty face who manages to capture the hearts of females easily, and through them, he gains not only riches and power, but also later learns what's truly important in life.
The drama is set to premiere following 'Secrets' so you'll be seeing IU back on the small screen again soon! (allkpop)
