Q: what did you learn from watching Taecgui
A: I learnt some new mathematics, which was not covered in my math classes in school or university.
143 means "I love you" because there is 1 letter in I, 4 in love, 3 in you
<3 means "love" and is the numeric equivalent of a heart. still not able to comprehend why <3 is love as opposed to another number like "<8" or "<7"...
X means "kiss" (remember all the Xs on OkCat's posts? ~ wonder who that is for?) again, not sure why X which in Roman numerals means 10 gets translated into "kiss" -

@angelangie ~ please don't use math in the poster. my mind does not process or compute and I see 1600 <3 which does not make sense mathematically speaking because 1600 is greater than 3, not less than 3... can we have a proper heart?

if you either read the thread from the beginning like @korchick or have been a member of this from the beginning, you will remember when this guy called @bulletcargo dipped his feet into our pond for a bit and gave us a guy's perspective. he also discovered a new word "skinship" through his interactions with us. he never did say who his sister was but I do have my suspicions. hope he did have a nice vacation.

Hypothesis: GuiGui is learning korean traditional dance as she already has an interest in traditional folk dance.
Evidence: she took 2PM choreography....

MEMO: to fellow bird-watchers; Feb 12 update
Background: As you might be aware, we are studying 'migration and courtship patterns among the micheseo family of birds'. We have focused our study on a pair of birds who we have collared and are following through electronic signals. The female is tagged 'GHOST163', or 'GuiGui' for short and the male is tagged 'OKCAT185', or 'Taec' for short.
Current Status: Both birds are in the Korean airspace. GuiGui was seen dancing in between bouts of rest, while Taec was sighted in the vicinity of another flock of birds, nicknamed "wonderful season cast".
Request: If sighted, please ignore these two birds so that they can behave naturally and we can complete our study. Too much scrutiny will lead them to become skittish and may cause them undue stress. So, if sighted, just observe from a distance, but please do not approach, and let us know your findings.

Q: has GuiGui stopped using weibo? we only have her FB status for a long time and so wondering about that...
also a request: if there are any interesting messages of GG's fb related to her post, please translate and do put it out there on the thread. tried to use bing translate to see the ones which had most likes and most of it was utter gibberish. was snooping to see if she had responded to any of her fans but so far, didn't see her face on any post...

Valentine's day is just around the corner or already there depending on the time zone.
According to the time zone converter, it just crossed midnight in Seoul a few minutes ago which means it is Valentine's day there.
Hope there are some exciting posts tomorrow...
but whatever Okcat does, hope he isn't inspired by Big Bang Theory's Sheldon Cooper and visit a haunted house...
