Have you heard the song Gom Se Ma Ri or also known as "The Three Bears"? One of Song Hye Kyo's iconic scenes in the 2004 hit romantic-comedy drama "Full House".

"Full House" is one of the pioneers in the history of K-dramas. It tells the story of a cheerful and optimistic aspiring writer Han Ji Eun (played by Song Hye Kyo). Without her knowing, her friends sell her house in order to settle their debts. The moment she comes home, Ji Eun noticed that someone is living in her house, until she realized that a popular actor, Lee Young Jae (played by Rain), has bought her house. Meeting each other was the start of their not so ordinary love story.

You also have to watch out their undeniably natural chemistry in this drama. Chaotic yet sweet kind of romance that you will surely ask for more episodes every now and then.

Every Episodes is Worth the Hour

One of the most favorite dramas of all time. "Princess Hours" is about the story of an ordinary high school girl Shin Chae Kyung (played by Yoon Eun Hye), who is forced to marry Korea's Crown Prince Lee Shin (played by Ju Ji Hoon) because of an old agreement between their grandfathers.

It is one of the legendary Korean series that captured the viewer's interest. A combination of modern and historical cultures in the set design and costumes that are beautiful and pleasing to the eyes of the audiences. Plus, its catchy and splendid official soundtracks that also had various renderings in different languages. The love romance between the leads gave the best impact and became the most effective part of the story.

    My Girl (2005)

Even before Lee Dong Wook caught the hearts of many in the 2016 record-breaking drama "Goblin", he already built his rude yet sweet image in the 2005 romantic-comedy drama "My Girl".

Actress Lee Da Hee played the role of Joo Yoo Rin, a bubbly and hardworking con artist with an exceptional talent for lying. As a working woman who has a background in speaking different languages and good at impersonating, she was hired by Seol Gong Chan played by Lee Dong Wook, a handsome and serious businessman, to be his fake cousin in order to grant the favor of his grandfather. But as they continue to work together, things get harder as they start to have special feelings for each other.

"My Girl" has a lot of witty and humorous dialogues, that you can't stop yourself from watching the moment you already started the first episode. It is one of a kind Korean drama that is famous for having a perfect blend of romance and comedy.

    Coffee Prince (2007)

Another series of actress Yoon Eun Hye, where she portrayed the role of Go Eun Chan, who is often mistaken as a man due to her boyish appearance. "Goblin" actor Gong Yoo played the character of Choi Han Gyul, he hires Eun Chan to work in his cafe knowing that she is a guy. While working together almost every day, they start to develop feelings for each other, Choi Han Gyul is still unaware that the person whom he has special feelings for is actually a girl.

This is one of the unique stories in the history of K-drama. Plus the chemistry between Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun Hye looks very natural and you just can't hide to feel that butterflies in your stomach while watching their romance on screen.

    Lovers in Paris (2004)

It tells about the story of Kang Tae Young (portrayed by Kim Jung Eun) , a daughter of a film director and became an aspiring filmmaker who is studying in Paris. In order to make ends meet, she works for Han Gi Ju (played by Park Shin Yang) as a housekeeper. Gi Ju is a divorced and rich businessman. He takes Kang Tae Young as a date during his business party to impress his workmates and other businessmen, but luck is not in their favor, they end up being on bad terms. But fate wants them to meet, and so when they finally arrive in Seoul their paths have crossed once again and starts to share another journey together and begin to develop feelings for each other.

These are some of the Korean dramas that started it all. The emerging success of Korean entertainment in different parts of the world gave the industry the power to showcase the history and culture of Korea. From exceptional scripts to noteworthy acting performances of the actors, Korean dramas are one of the most important things that viewers and fans are excited to look forward to.

Fluttering Love debut: Yoon Eun-Hye’s comeback helps boost viewership for MBN K-Dramas:thumbsup:

11th November 2018 by War Omega

Fluttering Love (also known as Fluttering Warning, Love Watch, and Love Alert), the romantic-comedy K-drama starring Yoon Eun-hye and Chun Jung-myung, has already made its mark as the most popular K-drama to air on the recent reincarnation of the Maeil Broadcasting Network (MBN).

According to viewership ratings provided by AGB Nielson Korea, the debut episode which aired on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, earned a Korean nationwide viewership of 2.796 percent. The second episode dropped under 1.770 percent but the third and fourth episodes saw initial increases just over two percent.

Internationally, it is also doing very well too. On Rakuten Viki, it is the fifth trending K-drama on their streaming site.

The only on-air K-dramas to be more popular are Where Stars Land, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, and When Time Stopped. The first two on the list are established and are nearing their respective finales.

The fact that Fluttering Love is doing better compared to MBN’s previous K-dramas in viewership means the network now has a more plausible chance of having their K-dramas seen.

This year, MBN decided to serialize K-dramas. What that means is they are developing and producing K-dramas back-to-back.

This should sound similar to seasoned K-drama fans as other Korean television networks follow the same procedure especially the public channels (KBS, SBS, MBC, and EBS). However, not many people knew about their new line of K-dramas thus the lower-than-usual viewership even if it was a cable/satellite network.

That is a shame because their previous K-dramas such as Devilish Joy, Witch’s Love, and Rich Man, Poor Woman were spectacular.

Why is Fluttering Love getting more attention than previous MBN K-dramas?

In general, Fluttering Love doesn’t seem any different from other Korean romcoms. It is about a top actress and a famous dermatologist forming a contract relationship to counter a scandal they both share.

Besides the careers the two main characters have, there are plenty of K-dramas that follow a plot of two “incompatible” people having a contractual relationship to counter a scandal.

Probably the biggest reason why Fluttering Love is getting a lot of attention is it marks Yoon Eun-hye’s comeback to K-dramas. The last K-drama she was in was Marry Him If You Dare back in 2013. That was five years ago. Between then and now, her only acting credits were cameos.

Summarized, it is a big deal for K-drama fans to see Eun-hye return to the Korean small screen albeit any screen as she’s well known for her monumental roles in Princess Hours (also known as Goong), Missing You, My Fair Lady, and her most popular K-drama, CoffeePrince.

    2. Drama adapted from web novels by Seo Han Kyeol

Besides the two famous artists who will star in the drama Fluttering Warning, this Besides being played by famous and talented Korean artists, another reason for this drama cannot be overlooked, that is, because the drama is an adaptation of a famous web novel by Seo Han Kyeol with the title "Seolremjoouibo" or also known as Love Alert.

This web novel has been published on December 5, 2016 until March 24, 2017 through shiftbooks.yes24.com.

For fans of Seo Han Kyeol's novels, of course, they have been waiting for his work to be a drama.

The novel writer himself will help write the story script for this Fluttering Warning drama with Kim Shin Hye. Certainly it will not disappoint its fans because the author participated in the drama of the Fluttering Warning.

    3. Flow of unique and interesting stories:

Then, what about the storyline of this drama? Is it really good like the novel? Maybe we will give a little synopsis about this drama of Fluttering Warning.

The drama which is also a comeback for the beautiful artist Yoon Eun Hye tells the story of the romance between dermatology doctors and popular artists. Romantic stories that may be different from others because at first they were told to be involved in a scandal and had to undergo a love contract. Conduct a love agreement contract where both must pretend to have a relationship and act as if they are in love.

Packed with different scenes and entertaining the audience, of course this drama will be predicted to have a pretty good rating, because it is viewed from several reasons why this drama must be on a list of Korean dramas that are required to watch.

The MBN Television Station always presents dramas that are targeted by fans of Korean drama, the drama Fluttering Warning, this romance genre will add to the Korean drama line that has epic romance stories.
