Jang Dong Gun, Song Hye Kyo, Zhang Ziyi and More to Attend the ′2013 Chinese Film Festival′ in Korea
Top stars from Korea and China will be gathering at Yeoido for a big festival.
The 2013 Chinese Film Festival will be starting off on June 16, with the biggest stars from both Korea and China.
Song Hye Kyo, Tony Leung and Zhang Ziyi will be attending the opening ceremony for the premiere of director Wong Kar Wai′s The Grandmasters. Jung Woo Sung will appear as the festival′s honorary ambassador from 2009, while Jang Dong Gun also has his name on the invites list for his piece Dangerous Liaisons with Zhang Ziyi last year.
Director Wong Kar Wai and actors Ji Sung and Kim Ji Hoon are to make appearances, while Chun Jung Myung will act as this year′s honorary ambassador for the festival.
This giant congregation of Korean and Chinese stars marks a very rare occasion. It is said to have been propelled by the premiere of The Grandmasters, which stars top actors from both countries.
A rep from CJ E&M, which hosts the festival, explained, "As Korean films and actors have become popular in China, Korean actors have also started to take interest in the Chinese film industry and its films."
The Chinese Film Festival, hosted by CJ CGV and CJ E&M, is in its fifth year. It will be held in Seoul′s Yeoido CGV and Busan′s Centum City CGV from June 16-20. A total of 11 recent Chinese films will screen under the theme ′The Best Faces of Chinese Film′.

I dunno, something about his face ain't right for me...I can't say he is bad looking nor can I say he is good looking...Something about his face is difficult to look at but there is something about this guy that makes you drawn to his acting... :-?? No offense guys..This is just my opinion alone....Lee Min Ho is the type you'd say good looking right away..With Woo bin, I guess it would need some time for me to say so... :-?? I don't think Kim Woo Bin is Yonghwa's replacement....I think he ain't up to playing the 2nd male lead yet..I still think its CJH's character that Yong hwa vacated..The writer might made it custom made for CJH's look and adjusted the role for him since the writer is known to adjust her characters base on the celebrity she knows in mind that will portray the role...Just my opinion though..Gonna wait and see..Anyway, I'm hanging by a thread for this drama and Shin hye is that thread..Gonna keep an open mind and wait and see for the first episode... ;

KyoTak?....it's difficult to come up with cute names (may be she's not really meant for a Japanese guy for real....only for reel).....coz still nothing compares to the cute nametags as BiKyo and BinKyo. Actor Zo In Sung of the the popular melo-drama That Winter, The Wind Blows recently embarked on a promotional tour to Malaysia and Singapore last week. The tour was in line with the drama being aired on Channel ONE (SingTel mio TV Ch 513, 604 / StarHub TV Ch 823, 876, 124).
Being the first time that the 31-year-old actor is visiting Singapore, he met up with members of the media for a press conference followed by the meet-and-greet event with fans at Suntec City Mall. Despite the hectic back-to-back schedule and having just arrived from Malaysia, Zo In Sung’s cheery smile never left his face.
The mall was quickly filled up with close to 4,000 fans, all prepared with cameras in hand waiting to capture a timeless memory of the charismatic actor. Prior to his appearance, emcee Pei Fen (93.3FM DJ) handpicked 6 couples to compete on stage. What better game is there than re-enacting the romantic cotton candy scene!
The top 3 couples had to re-enact the scene in front of the actor himself, thereafter getting a polaroid picture with him. Showing his romantic gentlemanly side, Zo requested for a photo with the female contestants and posed intimately as he did with his leading female Song Hye Kyo. Hugs, heart signs, and that cheeky smirk gets any lady’s heart thumping for sure!
Lucky subscribers of ONE who won passes also received a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get up-close and personal with Zo In Sung on stage that evening, getting a polaroid couple shot as well.
He indeed deserves top marks for fan-service. With a personal mission to make eye-contact with as many people, Zo In Sung scanned the crowd thoroughly whilst flashing his smile and victory signs.

Jo In Sung broke plenty of hearts with his romantic portrayal of the con artist Oh Soo in the recent melodrama "That Winter, The Wind Blows." And he was kind enough to answer some of our questions about his role at a recent press conference in Malaysia.
In the drama, his character Oh Soo is a gambler and a swindler, who is desperate for cash. He meets the blind heiress Oh Young, played by Song Hye Kyo, and pretends to be her long lost brother, hoping to scam some money out of her. It's a successful scam until he falls in love with her and his priorities shift.
The role was his first drama in eight years and his first role since completing his military service. He was considering which role to take when the scriptwriter of "That Winter, The Wind Blows" came to see him personally. He didn't have to think twice about accepting the role of Oh Soo. He is happy that he took the role and says he enjoyed working with Song Hye Kyo.
"Working with her was fantastic," he said. "She is a beautiful actress as well.
When asked if there are any similarities between his own character and that of Oh Soo, he admitted there were some. For example, he would probably consider himself a romantic guy. And letting go of Oh Soo was not that easy. While the time it takes for an actor to shed a character varies, some characters are harder to let go of.
"I didn't really count how many days it took," said Jo In Sung. "I spent five months shooting this drama so it's not that easy to let go of a character that you live in for so many months. That's my weakness."
The actor is known for his cheerful personality but he has acted in a few melodramas such as "Memories in Bali" and "Spring Days." "That Winter, The Wind Blows" was so sad. Does he want to do a romantic comedy next?
"I used to be in a comedy called 'Nonstop 2.' It was fun and great but I wouldn't choose a romantic comedy just because it's a romantic comedy," said Jo. "I would look at the role first to see if the character is a fit or not, rather than just choosing a role because its funny."
How did he feel about the drama's famous, already much parodied Cotton Candy Kiss.
"Honestly, it was a very embarrassing, awkward moment to have to do it in front of a beautiful actress like Song Hye Kyo," he said.
Does he have any preference about which actor he would like to work with in the future?
"My goal is to work with a good actress or actor," he said. "It doesn't matter who. But if I had a choice, I would like to work with my close brother Song Joong Ki and also Choi Min Sik."
As to his other acting goals, he has no specific ones. His next role will probably be in a film. He appeared in the film "A Frozen Flower" in 2008 and is expected to appear in the film "Martial Arts" this year.
"I'm already so lucky and happy enough being in this position," said Jo In Sung. "I just hope to participate in more projects."

@janeb10 and @ nistymaj: I've been an avid fan of SHK since I were a child..keke..I can totally see Shin hye in line to be the next A-list... :-bd She has a lot of time to mature and as I can see she is doing great...Song hye kyo at her age also has a lot of CF and has popular hit dramas like autumn tale, All in and full house..Shin hye has a lot of popular dramas too..In time she will be considered as an A-list too.. <:-P She is young and has a lot of possibilities..She has a bright future ahead..plus netizens love her..(except those stupid haters ofcourse)..
