Saeguks are like that... you can get a gist of everything even started at mid but yes the whole entertainment gets effected by it. i want to watch it from start to know more abt the history and story. but not sure wil i be able to survive 20 hours just waiting KNG to appear so ill hav to work hard to decide what to do.. but ill watch it for sure.

i just can't seem to find one where i dislike his looks badly... yes i dint like his initial ruffled hair look in Bad Guy but at the mid (when he comes to meet his dad) it got to my liking.
i rarely like my kdrama oppas with moustache but KNG is exception.. he in moustache and stuble is too hot to handle for me.
The Shameless.. he was manly indeed. look wise, body language wise, his confident yet careless walk around was unmatchable.

'Memoir of a Murderer' I found difficult to follow near the end. He really seems to become the character and is able to freely express his emotions. I hope this helps - I'm still working through his older dramas/movies and loving his acting bold completely agree with you. his acting skills are great. he gets into the skin of character and make it his own which i love about him.
very rarely it happens with me that i fall for an actor and then cry seeing him dying without getting his deserving happiness. which happened with me after marathoning Bad Guy and Shark back to back and my DB wall is a proof.i cried buckets, ranted posts after posts still not on terms of letting Yi Soo go that way.
and its very first in my lifetime to be on his thread talking abt him here on soompi. so KNG is one and only one for me...
just one more question.. all the suggestions you gave anyone of them hav sad ending ? if so please tell me in advance so that I'll watch it while bracing my heart...

hey everyone... i am late in posting in this thread..as i finished LUTYN just yesterday and i confess i am head over heels over KNG- KAJ as actors in this drama. both did awesome job in portraying their roles, love, dedication.
also KNG is a gem of an actor. his acting was believable throughout the drama esp thr last epi when he was piercing needle in his heart, that pain - hurt, i felt it in my heart. I havr marathoned Bad Guy, Shark, LUTYN back to back and now i am a permanent fan girl of KNG. And started his movie The Pirates.
my last question...
as we saw KNG one fun loving, laughing and jolly in nature in this drama and bts... is he same in real life too. or was it just this role Heo Im where he was like that.

I guess it depends on your preference but I think Nam Gil, as fineapple says, is underrated as an actor. He really seems to become the character and is able to freely express his emotions. I hope this helps - I'm still working through his older dramas/movies and loving his acting

Hello Everyone here... i am new on this thread. and started watching My Ahjussi just yesterday and marathoned 8 episode in 2 days. And now i am only thinking abt this drama, its future possibilities, DH learning to stand up for himself and JA learning to trust someone else other than herself.
DH - JA's combo feels lock n key together who do not know their own worth apart but together they motivate other by give guidance (DH to JA abt her grandmom) and by just "fighting" which was much more than just one word for DH (we see that one word kept him going during one lowest moment).
i love these together but not sure if their story is going for any romantic turn in near future or eventually... still i am open to any turn that will give these 2 broken n shattered souls some happiness, peace and love.
Besides this i have one speculation from my side as a result of my mind's non stop thinking abt My Ahjussi and all if's and but's and how's.
below is my hypothetical analysis...
1. Reference to Ji An's talk to Dong Hoon as to why she keeps on reincarnated when she does not want to (thats what i can recall) again and again come back to earth.
2. She has hate for every wealthy people, as she tells this to her grandmother that all wealthy people becomes good. And also i feel she hates everyone around (thats what my perception is about her)
3. Jung Hee tells Dong Hoon the reason of JA's reincarnation again and again. and tells him that "only when someone has no shred of hate for anyone they go to the home on beautiful stars".
*i am writing this with tons of burden on my heart and with hope that it doesn't happen*
And i related this to Ji An's situation.
DH's company will influence her to redeem herself and that way all her hatred towards society will melt away into thin air. She will learn to handle life on DH's guidance n support.
And then (MA being a melodrama) can it be possible that Ji An will be killed while saving Dong Hoon from Kwang Il or Joon Young. And as she will not have any hatred left she will finally be saved from this cycle of incarnation.
*again i am myself not satisfied with this hypothesis and dont want it to happen but all the references to Re-incarnation, Going back to starry home, having no shred of hate keeps on echoing in my mind and i couldn't let it go.*
