Thank you so much for letting us know that we do have Gents here and Heartstrings do get puled but for different reasons and i certainly agree with that.
So just to know more about it... what exactly made you like this show and watch it..? also (not LJKs hair and all his persona) what exactly makes your heartstrings pulled ? Hope you wont mid sharing... cause we all being ladies discussing one perspective of SHRs impact on female fan following but I'd like to know what it does to male following and how big the impact is...

Spoilerjust like in Time between dog and wolf he was poles apart character after loosing his memory...his teeth clenching, eyes full of anger and revenge... I can do anything to watch him like that again...
but again i'd want to see him in one modern rom-com getting gal at the end with no blood shed and scheming plotting (both the requests are opposite of each other but i guess he has long long time in industry so i can get my wish granted *fingers crossed*

Woww we are having pretty serious analysis on SHR and ita rating fiasco...
And I jist dropped by to say that jus like Knowledge is not solely dependent on how much marks someone get same way how much ratings SHR is gettinf in SK should not be the only criteria for SHR performance/success measure(at the time SBS you have messed up with SHR big time)
Another thing when SHR is compared to any other show past or present having high rating.. I just cant accept it cause (my views) someone giving examfof 10th class can have lower marks as compared to other getting higher marks in 8th class. So again there is no same ground for comparison. SHR is a romance based show packed with action thriller revenge in one plate and when you have so many elements in one dish something or other will not be as per the taste of some or many. rather than ome simple plain dish suiting to the taste buds of mass.
You cant ask them to not to like their dish cause its simple and like ours cause its unique, they might have adverse effect on health and hard time digesting one such dish not as per their metabolism and liking. so we should just enjoy our dish and let them enjoy their....and at same time we should thank god for good health that we are able to handle one such pretty hard to handle drama that easily n happily.
So as long as we (here and everyone across globe) love this drama, show their love and suport to Shr And LJK I have no qualms saying SHR will be a huge success and I don't care an iota about ratings.
PS.. i know everyone here must have understood already my intention of this post still i thought before someone questions my posts why m talking abt class, exam, health, dish, plate etc.. so to clarify everything I put here was metaphors to relate this dramas and its effects on us as viewers. And its has no intention of letting any other shows fan down or mocking them or disliking their choice. (Hope thia post is not violating any rules or regulations here )
and someone said LJK lurking on soompi.. and if by any chance he does then its for him..

In photography (and Cinematography) Every photograph has a specific location at which the photographer wants the viewer's eye to rest (and from where). So when a camera is placed at one particular place and focused at something its always to make us (viewer) view the Subject from Photographers position and perspective (in still photography) but when you talk about videos (or movies) then its one Object who is viewing the Subject and becomes our eyes so photographer/director of photography shows us what/how that object is viewing in subject (from Object's perspective and position).
and in first scenes you noticed... director wanted to show HSs longing for WS for all that while and had to show how first thing she noticed in court was HIM (from her eye sight, and height) and in kissing scene its longing from both WS and HS. So the camera height was adjusted to their respective eye sight to emphasize that they cant keep their eyes away from their Subject of Love
and I must say...you have petty sharp eyes to notice something in such romantic kissing scene

And he eWas always biased To not tk see what all So has gone through (rememebr a scene where HS had to remind him to do think about his brothers troubled life), and then when So almost killed Yo and lastly Eun's INcident... ITs all piled up and making Jung to be against So

And I have to agree that JLK becomes more cheerful just to get rid of the awkwardness after the kissing scenes... may be to make IU feel better by not letting her (and him too) dwel INto such scenes.

and I can sure his Knife sharp jawline can kill many hearta but they wont bleed thats all. I have been killed like thousand times everytime his new pic on IG with that Cutter - Killer jawline.
and can't agree more that using Mask to cover half of his face leaves very less face to make an impact and they jawline had to be promiment more than enough to not let mask overshadow his beauty.

real life just cant let you enjoy what you love the most watching SHR and appreciating LJKs beauty....
But that BTS compensated all for me...LJK how can you be so Gorgeous - Beautiful Man who can just make my heart coming out of my chest.... his smile and his enthusiasm is something I cant get over with. His stares and those moments with IU... *I just cant ship these two together but everytime I see BTS i want to do it badly*
I just cant decide what i love more SHR the show or BTS cause in BTS he is much more than just WS.

Ahh such bad day it was yesterday.. after all those pics to spoil us on sunday lastly we dint even get the episode from SBS. I can curse SBS at the highest pitch of my throat #$%^&*@&$^$^$^@^@!@!
SBS is treating SHR just like Evil Mom treats WS or even worse than that..
When this epi 16 could have been the epi with highest Rating so far they ruined its chances that yesterday and now when it will be coming today I am not very sure whether it will be getting the deserved rating or not. As people already know what all supposed to happen today so all excitement and curiosity already went to zero.
Why SBS why...? why are you behaving as if SHR should not be aired on ur channel ? Why you are being an indifferent guardian towards it ? Why you are not supporting kid who is not getting enough chances to prove itself rather you are ignoring it more ? Why couldn't you just delay the episode by half an hour or even one hour but Postponing it to one whole day..a BIG NO NO...
And bottom line is I officially hate SBS now...
Finished my Rant..now I'll go and watch the episode with a light heart and relaxed mind...

@ruizaio thank you so much for the details about naming convention in SK.
And not sure if I am right but I did some research long back after watching SKKS about how siblings get their names in older times (and some now too) as you said one character assigned to their generation is common between siblings (first or second) and other character is what selected by parents as their name (this naming convention has one name too but i cant recall that) Also the character given to one specific generation is derived from hanja character of their previous generation's character in such a way that its meaning is related to previous one.
could you please let me know if what I know so far is true or not and if not then please correct so that It can help in correcting my SK history knowledge.
