Guys, looking at this video again,
Not only is ZZ (or BLY) reaching up with his lips to kiss JY (or GH) at 2:43 he is also gripping his waist with his right hand and pulling his neck down with his left……in another video, which i cannot find now, with a longer take of this kiss scene, that right hand is fully stroking JY's hip and leg….. anyone else notice that?
Also, anyone else see this video and get slightly turned on? No? Just me??

One question which is nagging on my mind: I found their interaction to be on equal basis, as you have said. But as far as I know, both of them appear to "give". During their interactions (in BTS, fan meeting, interviews) I see Johnny is more aggressive and sometime has sudden burst of aggression but he is also very considerate to Zhouzhou. Zhouzhou apparently accepted Johnny's sudden burst of aggression with patience and does not "demand" anything in return.
This makes their relationship so sweet watching them makes my teeth ache
but at the same time, I (as a sceptic) find it hard to believe. There must be points where they "demand" something from the other? Or maybe this is also influenced by their culture?
What is your take on this?
What I like about their relationship is the mutual respect they have for each other, and the feeling that they can rely on each other. The forced closeness from having them sleep together during filming really did wonders for their friendship. I get the feeling that if either one were to be demanding, the other would give in fairly easily (although I kind of see JY giving in more to be honest; he seems almost like GH in that respect, with how much he adores ZZ)

It's up to the readers' imaginations.

Ok so let me revise my earlier statement…I don't really consider either of them to be sadistic at all to be honest because yes, neither wants to inflict pain on the other; I think I was using the term "masochistic" very superficially here. More in the sense that GH was willing to give in very easily to BLY if it meant that BLY would stay with him whereas BLY usually does not give in to GH so easily. I did not mean that GH likes pain in the least. I do agree with you that their relationship can be versatile (not so often), and @sohocomo that their relationship is much more on equal footing especially after the 8 year gap. It is rather more the ideal relationship.

Isn't seme simply the one who tops? That's different from the one who is dominant… although, from all the yaoi i have read and seen, usually the seme is the dominant one. In this case, BLY might be the more dominant and GH is willing to submit….someone actually said this earlier which I thought was quite accurate, GH is a masochistic top while BLY is maybe more of a sadistic bottom…. yes? no? anyone?

I love the sepia tone coloring, the muted grays, browns, and creams, which give it a contemplative, classic feel.

I love the connection between the two leads, how music is used to forge an instant pairing, and it is believable because of the transcendant nature of the piece they are playing and the talent they have to express it. I love the doses of black comedy, heavily tinged with second-hand embarrassment - the forgotten skirt, the attempt to flush a very nasty woman down the toilet, the foot firmly planted on a sticky rat trap.
I love the complicated characters: she is restrained, restricted, juggling fine china plates in the air to keep everyone happy, yet she can laugh at the absurdity, laugh at herself. He is young, shy, yet driven with that obsessive focus that you find in true artists.
I love the messy relationships, the twisty connectedness between all of the characters that creates an added layer of tension as we know they are all going to collide, spectacularly.This is a fabulous show, and my only regret is that it doesn't appear that it will get all the recapping effort it so truly deserves.

I have been lurking on this site all along and loving both the comments and the show; I came out to ask one question: in ep 46/47 where Lan Zhan gives Wei Ying a spell to help save Wen Ning (in Yunping City), where did he get that from? Did he make it himself?
