  1. I’m caught up reading this thread from page 5 and on !

I’m on episode 17 currently. My friend introduced me to this drama but my heart is weak.. which upcoming angsty episodes do I need to skip

love the actor chengyi’s performance and always enjoy zhang jie’s voice acting. I really like the actor Hao Chen from Destiny of White Snake so a bit bummed that he’s playing this villain here.

Remember that DYX was busy eating noodles in a livestream with ZLS?

This type if you are curious:

    Apparently very popular in China

Omgggg I’ve recently been watching the drama put your head on my shoulder and they talked about luosifen noodles in there too. And now knowing dyx was eating that, I really wanna try it even more now

I just don’t like episode 18. But I like the last scene when hot HS in black showed up lol. :sweatingbullets::P

omggg I know right ?! I was just rewatching that scene last night!

there are so many scenes I like to rewatch. Like that cake kiss. And that scene in the carriage on the way to Xuanhu City.. RuiRui’s expression is literally the best thing ever.

I also like rewatching the scene with the 3 gentlemen at the end talking to QQ and Han Shuo finding out that way.

Right? I haven't watched a cDrama I don't have to skip episodes for a very long time.

Even for CQL I skipped an episode or two, but the pacing for this show is so quick skipping is not really an option (haha)

Omg I had mad withdrawals from CQL too but even then I skipped soo many episodes (I still can’t bring myself to go back and watch the ones I missed). This drama actually got me out of CQL withdrawals hehe.

  5. Oh my two friends recommended me this novel, and I've just recently started on it. The first novel, Gracelings.. I found it very difficult to grasp the beginning, everything was too fast.. as it continued, it became better and better.

I loved how it started out fast. If the book starts out slow, my patience is tried and I get restless since I'm bored quite easily. I loved how the beginning started because it pulled me right in from the beginning. However, I know this is different for everybody since one of my friends was bored (even if he read like 6 pages or so at first).

I'm excited for the release of the sequel to Graceling on May 1st.

Currently reading: The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson now.

  6. Finally reading The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. Hopefully I can make a solid judgment on it by the end of the book.

I've also been reading a lot of self-published books in the fantasy genre. All so good.

Loved The Tale of Lunarmorte series by Samantha Young. One of my favorite authors :).

to-read: Brightly Woven → Alexandra Bracken

  7. I've started the Hush, Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick. Alluring so far.

Just finished Nora Robert's The Bride Quartet series: Vision in White, Bed of Roses, Savor the Moment, and Happy Ever After. I also finished her first book of trilogy series, The Next Always.

Honestly, I haven't heard of Nora Roberts before but I was strolling through Wal-Mart one day and saw her books and was hooked after reading the prologue. I love the way she writes and her newest release is amazing. I'm waiting for her May release for the second book to the trilogy series.

Are there any romance/comedy books anyone recommends?

Anna and the French Kiss. Maybe even Destiny Binds if you don't mind fantasy. But the protagonist is witty and humorous.

+ Lola and the Boy Next Door

  8. Currently reading both

Normally I don't read two books at the same time like this.. but The Book Thief wasn't pulling me in enough so I'm just slowly reading it every now and then.

I recently finished Graceling (Seven Kingdoms series) and that was just absolutely wonderful! Loved it. :) Give it a try.

  9. Finished reading Divergent, The Son of Neptune, and Hallowed (Unearthly series sequel). Really want the next books :(. The agony of waiting 1 year+.

Anywho, going to be starting The Book Thief today (most likely).

Soon I'll get Clockwork Prince after my Amazon gift card arrives and I can buy it for my brand new Kindle Touch.

  10. If you haven't already, you should read The Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan. It pretty much serves as a continuation of the Percy Jackson series...: )

Omg, yes, I finished The Lost Hero about a day ago. Already ordered The Son of Neptune. Can't wait to read the next book. Too bad that's all for now :(. I love all this mythology going on. And the suspense.

The Mortal Instruments series is probably my favorite of all! There's never a dull moment when it comes to those Shadowhunters!

Yes, indeed! It keeps me so curious. Too bad I have class and other stuff to take care of.. otherwise I would rather just sit locked up in my room and just finish book 3 + 4. Will probably get a chance to finish book 3 today :).

  11. Just finished The Maze Runner today. My Mortal Instruments books came in today (the first three books) so I'll probably start that. Five more books are coming in from the library so I'll pick those up tomorrow.

I also finished the Percy Jackson series and I kind of miss them now. I'll probably read another series by Rick Riordan to make up for it. The last book was pretty gratifying.

The Maze Runner is a dystopian novel, by the way. It starts out pretty frustratingly slow in the beginning, but after you get thru it (I had trouble and almost put it down) it'll make you SUPER CURIOUS.

  12. Finished the first 2 books, Unearthly and Hallowed, in the trilogy by Cynthia Hand.

It was the first angel-based book I've read so I was unsure about how it would play out. I really enjoyed it, especially the second book. There was just something about it that kept me up at night. I'm looking forward to the last installment which apparently won't be published till 2013 T_T

I've read mixed reviews about this one, but now I'm going to start Halo by Alexandra Adornetto.

I started Unearthly yesterday! So far so good. Pretty interesting. Guess I should request for the sequel at my local library just in case the ending gets me addicted.

On another note, starting The Mortal Instruments series afterwards. And then, finishing up the Percy Jackson series.

Having a goodreads.com account is very useful.
