  1. Is it a bad or a good idea to meet guys in clubs/bars? I'm not comfortable in those settings though.

It's only good when you can figure out who's decent enough but you would need to be more comfortable in a setting like them to make it easier.

  2. Thanks for the replies guys, idk how to quote on my phone so I'll just reply here too.

We had been arguing a lot in our relationship and one morning after a dumb argument he just said he doesn't see it anymore and that was that. I asked for a second chance but he said no because we "weren't compatible". So I picked my heart up and left and never contacted him again. Now 2 months later he says he misses me and wants me back in his life. I did appreciate that he apologized because he actually never did, but after the breakup I found out he went back to talking to his ex but I guess maybe it didn't pan out?

I think I don't really miss him..I just miss having someone in my life. But I'm debating if it's worth even being friends now. I kinda only want his company when I'm lonely or bored..that's probably not a good reason? :/

I think he went too far in saying that you aren't compatible and I don't think he went too far because he made a mistake. It's one thing to say that you don't work out as a couple but he thinks you should be friends but to say you're not compatible is something someone says to have a clean break. If you know someone for years, it's not the best option and to not try to transition the relationship for two months indicates that that's really what he meant at the time. If he's talking to exes, he's probably feeling needy and he can't start a new relationship right away.

I thought this was the case. If you miss having someone in your life, just keep going until you can find someone better. It might be tough at first but when you find someone better, it will be worth it. I'm sure there are other things you can do when you're lonely or bored in the meantime. I think it's best to just keep moving forward. If you forgive him, that's fine. It doesn't mean that you need to risk your own feelings and re-invite him into your life.

  3. So my ex broke up with me 2 months ago. He just recently contacted me and apologized for running instead of working at our relationship, and tbh it did hurt me immensely when it happened but some amount of time has passed. Right now he wants me back in his life (although I asked what his intentions are he said he just wants to see how it goes) and I'm contemplating if I should be friends with him? I guess it's bc sometimes I get lonely or whatever but..I'm mixed if I can truely and wholehearted forgive him or still bitter inside and just want him to see what he lost. Our history is that we've known each other for 10 years now but just recently dated for like 6 months.

    Thanks for your help guys!

What's the kind of interaction you would want to have? I think at this point it would be very awkward since he just quit the relationship without trying to at least bring it back to a friendship.

I feel like you're trying to look for reasons to re-invite him back into your life. None of the reasons you stated say that you miss him and you want things to go back to the way they were with you two at any point.

Could women please stop trying to give advice in this thread? It undermines the entire purpose.

  4. Q1. What song(s) would you like a girl to sing to you?

Q2. Do you prefer natural hair color or dyed hair on a girl? Or, either one is fine as long as it looks good?

I prefer natural hair color but I will say that I have an affinity for reds so if she has brown hair that looks like it could be reddish, that's good too.

Q1. What song(s) would you like a girl to sing to you?

Q2. Do you prefer natural hair color or dyed hair on a girl? Or, either one is fine as long as it looks good?

Q1. Songs like Sweater Weather, pumped up kicks, something cool? acoustic version of mainstream songs.. korean love ballads would be okay too. I wouldnt mind cartoon theme songs haha, pokemon? duck tales? anything fun. any panic at the disco or fall out boy I will marry the girl o_o

Q2. Either one is fine but sometimes when a girl switches it up by dying her hair out of nowhere it is super attractive to me. brown, scarlet red, psychic blue, anything pretty much

What the hell is psychic blue? Did you just make that up?

  5. Guys kissing girls on the forehead may be cute but the other way around, it does seeem quite motherly.

Why not kiss him on the cheek then?  That's a common place to kiss, no?

It doesn't scream "this guy's manly". I think hugs are more associated with that now, but it would be the amount of hugs by different people that people would perceive to make up whatever quality makes up manliness. If he's your guy, do whatever feels right, but definitely not forehead kisses. That's a definite no.

  6. Does anyone know where I can find the drama "the boss" with cha in pyo from 1999? Was my first drama I watched and would love to see it again

MBC sometimes shows older dramas. The last old one I caught was Medical Brothers from 1997 and it was like in 2010.

I need a recommendation for something good. I hate melodrama. I'm looking for a miniseries or something around 20 episodes. The ones that are 50+ become awful.

  7. GUYS! Honestly, what do you think if a girl kissed you on the forehead?

    1. cute and sweet she cares about me

    2. Too motherly

    3. Weird......

Would you rather not be kissed on the forehead? It's  not something a girl should do if the guy wants to be looked at as manly?

Probably weird. Motherly would be another possible thought, but that would have to go with some other motherly actions. If she's like in her twenties, then probably weird.

    My questions are -
Do you guys think he's interested in me? I've never had a boyfriend so I honestly don't know.
If he DID like me, why was he asking about that other guy?
He's leaving my country in 7 months so what do you guys think I should do if he wanted us to date?

I'm scared because I'm getting closer to him and he's already attached to me I think :/ I just get that general vibe from him.

    Sorry for such a long post! ;-;

I think he is interested. It seems that the other guy is in a similar situation as him, so if he figures out that situation, he can figure out his own.

I don't know what you should do. If the other guy comes up in the situation again, try to get a feel of whether he would be able to stay longer. That's all I can think of.

    @cakegirl_stv

Hes definitely interested but I don't think there would be a future for you two in the long run. That wage info is pretty weird. Asian countries would usually keep their wage a secret as it usually is a big jump from position to position. Western countries I find people just let out what they earn and just complain or get excited about money.

It's common for Koreans to discuss wages. I don't know about other Asian countries, but I heard it's like that there too.

  9. Can somebody tell me what to say to a heartbroken male friend with a tender soul? He doesn't even want to go to the strip club, or see sunlight.

It's different when girlfriends are heartbroken because there's always a bunch of us, so I never have to be the sensitive comforting one.

    Halp.

Like 5880 said, we don't know what happened, so we don't really know what could be said.

There's an idea in what you posted. Try getting other people together to go to him and hang out.

  10. Being a doctor is like magically gaining four inches in height and two in length

    Visceral fatness?

If you ever see the restrooms in an engineering college building, you'd walk away every time a guy says he's an engineer.

I had to run up to the computer science floor because it wasn't nearly as bad as the others.

  11. So it was me and this other guy I know (but not that well) in the room with some other people. He started making some sounds like moaning?? Maybe he's laughing?? Do some guys have moaning laugh? What is this? I just thought it was funny.

    lol

    I don't think that's right.

  12. I find it so annoying once a guy starts to tell me about what he does and well I just get bored really fast. Why are some guys so keen on talking about themselves especially about their job??

Because it shows stability and focus. Many men will try to project the stability semi-consciously, but a lot of the other reasons are just off-domain and they don't really notice.
