Also I found some twitter spoilers saying they saw Haru and Danoh wearing Hanbok! I hope it becomes real in the drama and not some "shadow" speculations!!!

This is interesting! I can see Haru being a body guard always watching over DO...he not only protects Dan Oh but also BK as well (from the basketball, stopping him from smashing the glass etc).

I also like the subtle scene after Haru and BK play tennis. BK asks Haru, 'Where did you get this tennis racket? It looks like an antique.' BK then proceeds to tape it up for him because the old tape is worn out lol.

  2. I watched the last episode again and the scene where BK starts pushing Haru into the bookshelf is actually actually part of the stage and a scene where the writer intended it. So the story is actually changing, but maybe the 'fate' of each character will still be the same as intended by the writer?

I read a comment here about Haru and DO being from another comic...and I think this is true too. They are probably originally from a comic set back in a much older/historical time and that green/black hole has something to do with it

  3. Ohhhh mannnnn just started watching this yesterday and binged the 4 episodes. I think i'm getting the second lead syndrome with Bae Kyung. I like the characters that aren't exactly 'good' and I wish we could see his character change for the better but I don't think that will happen because the drama isn't long enough and it's a kdrama lol. I really wish there wouldn't be a love triangle because you already know who DO will end up with and so far I like both of the two male characters. I've never really watched any kdrama with a PROPER love triangle where its 50/50 on who will end up with who.  All three of them have good chemistry together too.

It's pretty obvious that BK genuinely cares for DO and he's never been aware of it because she's always been there pretty much stuck? I'm looking forward to BK actually feeling and experiencing hurt. Despite DO not having much longer to live, I think BK needs to experience not to take things for granted with DO (since it's been so long, BK believes DO will always stick to him).

I agree, Baekyung has definitely been more aware (even since the start of the drama) and he was the first one who actually noticed Haru in the library. I also think DO's flower in the childhood flashback is the same flower that Haru always looks at. Haru's is basically writing/drawing his own story I think haha.

I am really enjoying the actress playing DO, she's doing a great job especially since a big part of the time it's she's talking to herself.

Dohwa is a much more interesting character than the main manhwa leads JD and NJ. I don't really pay too much attention to them since they aren't as real hahahah.

Wondering if any other characters will become self aware? I think it will only be the kitchen fairy, do hwa, dan oh and lastly, baekyung.

I wonder what the 'black/green' hole is? The easiest guess would be real-life but I dont know if the drama will touch on that.

Overall I think this drama is doing really good. Storytelling in a different way with the 'manhwa' theme.

Yeah... his voice was shaking so bad, his voice was struggling like it's painful for him to speak, and i didn't know men can sob...but he sounded like he was trying not to sob... geez... and would a man who they claim is just considering JiAn just like a dear sister, friend, react like that so emotionally like his soul is being torn apart???  what the...

    I HAVE A QUESTION.......

To those who know the Korean language well....

The conversations of DH & JA.... are the conversations "informal"... like that very emotional phone conversation?

In Korea they have formal and informal/casual  way of conversing right?  Like formal speech towards people you just met, or when speaking to someone older, or your senior...

And then there's the informal way (i think they refer to it as "banmal") of talking between close friends already.

So how do DH & JA converse with each other?

They speak informally with each other haha T_T *tear* but sometimes JA speaks politely adding 'yo' to sentences (for example sometimes in the phone scene) but DH just speaks informally haha

  5. omg punches are thrown at JY

dh 'calls' JA and asks her to call him :o

:( i hope nothing bad happens to either of them...no accidents pls haha (because Gwang Il is there still somewhere :/ haha)

i think DH feels a mix of betrayal/shock but not as much as him feeling worried about JA

i bet when they talk, JA will be so sorry (like in the preview) but then he'll just give her a hug (esp. to parallel the scene of her asking if she can hug him because he looked like he needed energy)

  6. Just wanted to say even though Kwang-Il's character is only a supporting character, his scenes are always impactful. I didn't focus too much on him at first. Usually with supporting I don't focus too much on them because their story is just writting in a way that it's just like 1 layer haha. They keep showing a little bit of more detail about him each time and it makes we want to know more! He seems conflicted and seems like he's in his current position due to his upbringings sadly which makes it harder to choose a different path if that's the only path you've been brought up with. I definitely don't like abuse but it is something that exists and I will agree with DH on what he said about that the past is the past, just live well in the present. Like I said before, I hope he can move on from his 'past' in terms of his bad environment of being a loan shark, abusive behaviour and start on a new clean slate.

Plus it seems like there's a theme of 'dying' here with JA, DH and KI. These three have mentioned death. Looks like all three are in a lonely world unsure of their paths haha. Now though, DH is finding his way, and is finally stepping out of his comfort zone. JH is finally not ignoring people haha, and opening up to them, seeing that there are good people out there. KI...I hope we see that before the drama ends!

Also I love it when JA is so direct about her liking DH but DH never really confronts it with a direct answer haha.

I love this drama and how real it is! I hope this drama gets some awards or something, because the whole team's work is spot on. Cast, production, the camera-work, music everything!!!

I don’t know but I have this sinking feeling that Joon Young might use Kwang Il to actually kill Dong Hoon and Ji An will sacrifice herself to save him.  In doing so, she would have finally freed herself from her never-ending cycle of rebirth because she has finally loved someone with all her heart, enough to sacrifice herself for him. :(

Oh crap. As if this series weren’t sad enough, here I go making myself all depressed. :bawling:

I can’t even think about this ending! That would be too heartbreaking! But I agree that Kwang Il will play a significant role in upcoming episodes. It can’t end well.

Ughhh I agree.......I hope it doesn't end this way in a sacrifice with someone dying x_x....

Even I want KI to be redeemed and set free from his bad environment

So DH finally let it out and confronted his wife. Well, it does look like they’ll reconcile after some time? Which isn’t exactly what I’m happy about...

Yeah with this couple I agree, I think it's better for them to part ways....but it does look like they'll reconcile, but I hope not!

  9. omg that is so cute/sad in a way/on another level

JA gave DH a pair of shoes as a gift (well slippers) but it korea apparently if you give someone shoes as a gift it isn't really good as giving shoes as a gift will mean you're giving them a chance to run away

but technically here it looks like DH wont run away and i think someone said here previously that DH likes JA's hobby of running because he thinks of it more like, 'patience'?

btw all these scenes with JA's grandmother are very moving even though they aren't very long

she has great chemistry with JA and DH

+ ohh 'couple' roadtrip to drop off grandma haha
