It's complicated. I don't know the full process. As far as I know, if the actor received notice to enlist there is no negotiation because that's what happened to Yoon Do Joon (news on it). He was still filming and he had to go. However with the COVID-19, maybe there are changes plus we don't know whether there is any medical condition that could exempt JKY from enlistment.

Yes they do. You only see less (or none) in sageuk.
PPL I didn't like was whoever that made LMH describes the tastes of the food/drinks like one would do in a commercial. I find that too invasive. Whatever happen to the subtle approach back in the days? I was shocked in this scene that LMH is actually reading out a CF line. He did it again for the bread in the next episode.

Even though it is hot outside I bet he drove so he would be blasting air con in the car and the cinema is usually very cold. I always have to bring another layer with me when I go.

Edit: I'm always very curious when I look at the comment section of his IG. It's filled with Arabic texts. There's no translation button there so how do they expect LMH to understand what they say?

The first time I saw him, he kinda gives me already an eerie feeling that he's a crucial character. He looks so mysterious or maybe I'm just overthinking. Hahaha.
I'd like to think Cha Ji Won's background is normal, purely because it'd become too far-fetched that even she has some secrets. The team leader is fishy-looking, can't pin-point what yet like you. Maybe he's just shady in his dealing with cases, like he's trying to cover up his past mistakes...?

@strongtower True true. I like how it is for now; hopefully like you said they don't insert too many unnecessary red-herring. I'm really curious about Baek Hee Song's mother. Some part is easy to figure out some isn't like her behaviour towards Hyun Soo. She's nice to him on certain parts and then she isn't. From the story so far Hyun Soo does love Ji Won (not just because he needed her around to stop seeing his Dad), and I want to have some more of their past love story because he was still resisting her then and I want to see how eventually he agrees to marry her.
And talking about his Dad, geez, does the actor's eyes have to be so scary!!! It's scares me a bit. Don't like to see it although I understand the visual effects it creates.

@strongtower FoE is very good. I am so glad with OKAY reaching it end, there is another captivating drama to fill my week. I love the suspense even though I know he's not going to get caught so soon, hehe.
