    Finally got around to watching this. The art was really stunning, as is with most Ghibli films. I agree that there could have been more character/plot development, but I enjoyed the film for what it was; simple and sweet.

     

     

     

    My favorite line: 「アリエッティ、君は僕の心臓の一部だ。忘れないよ、ずっと。」

     

    I am such a sap. lawl.. a tear almost came out, but it was touching. haha

     

     

     

    I really hope the American dub is tolerable or at least better than the one for Ponyo. I thought that one wasn't that good so I didn't enjoy Ponyo as much as I could have, but to each her own. (:

    So I watched a couple of episodes and I thought they were pretty funny... especially the way the actor for Tamaki overacts, I couldn't help but laugh. Kawaguchi Haruna (Haruhi) is adorable. She kind of reminds me of Sooyoung from SNSD. I also like the casting for Kyouya. The Hunny senpai scenes where they minimize him are super awkward. He's cute, but I'm not used to seeing that kind of thing lolol. I'm going to watch this if/when I'm really really bored.

    In Heaven was so amazing, I was really touched. I would buy a CD just for that song. LOL but anyway, I just have to say their English songs sound way better live. I had an awesome time even if I wasn't in the moshpit/way front, haha. The concert was definitely worth it. :)

    How do you type this please? ティッシュ

     

     

     

    Specifically the two combination characters, mini イ and ツ ? I know typing Te+x+i gets ティ but I can't get the last tsu. I am using the Microsoft IME 2002 (windows XP)

     

     

     

    Also, why is Tsu shortened to "s" and why not write any of the s- characters instead?

    To get mini tsu you must put two "s". It does not actually make a "tsu" sound in this case.. for example it would be like いっしょ = issho. So to get ティッシュ, you would have to type "t e x i s s h u". Hope this helps. :)

    I' a first semester learning Mandarin now :D

     

     

     

    I was wondering...we learned nà 那 and zhè 这 and now i wanted to know when you use which word because both mean "this", don't they? Like, when I introduce a friend, i say "zhè shì ..." but when do i use nà then?

    Actually 那 means "that" so if you want to talk about someone/something that is away from you, use "na".

    Are you trying to say "I really want to learn Japanese. Please help!"?

    sigh Boa's voice does nothing for me tho I bet the lyrics are really awesome. I hope I can hear someone else sing the song like Jongwan. btw totally surprised to hear his voice at the end. <3333

    I actually like her voice in the song, then again I've been a fan for years so it might be the fan in me speaking. I'm happy that JW and BoA collabed though; unexpected but it had a great result in my opinion. The song and lyrics are so beautiful, as expected. For some reason I can actually hear JW singing it in my head lol.. Nell withdrawall T_T haha I can't wait until they return~
