    Just have to say... my Jumong boxsets came in (I only got Vols 1&2...broke college student heh) today... and it's such a great feeling to hold your favorite TV shows in boxsets! I just keep gazing at them... I recommend everyone to buy your favorite show instead of just watching them online

     

    By the way, could someone post the best websites to buy these boxed sets? I've got Borders.com (fast shipping & good discounts, got Jumong 40% off!), DVDPacific (planning on buying the rest of the series here), and DVDFromKorea, YesAsia, are there any more websites to buy Kdramas??

    I've bought Be Strong Geum-soon Vol.2 from Borders. You'll receive the boxsets in a very timely manner...but beware you might have to pay taxes (I know I did since I live in California), so try to check out and see if you will have to pay taxes or not...my guess is that you'll only be taxed if you live in CA, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii.

    I've also bought from DVDPacific and their prices are especially cheap. And no taxes unless you reside in Florida. And I've also just recently bought from Rightstuf.com. With Rightstuf.com, the price is cheap when the boxset is on pre-order, but they'll increase the price once the item is available (but the price is still cheaper than Yesasia's). They ship from Iowa. I've noticed with DVDPacific and Rightstuf is that if you pre-order the item way in advance, you'll get the item around the day or before the day the item is actually released according to the dates from YA or Yesasia. My order for the 4th volume of Be Strong Geum-soon and the 1st volume of I Really, Really Like You shipped out on Tuesday from Rightstuf and I should be getting it sometime this week (maybe even on the day those 2 boxsets are to be released [9-23-08])

     

    As for Dalja's Spring, there is no official DVD boxset, however, you can get the hard e-subbed episodes on DVD from KBS-America. The entire drama of 22 episodes cost $89 I believe.

    With this coupon, Im not really worried about the sales tax from Borders (if I order them separately i'll get each boxset for $44!) Wow are those shows(Really Like You, Be Strong Geum-soon) any good? I like to try out a show before I buy it.. Jumong & Dalja have eaten up all my laptop space so I've either gotta burn them on dvd or buy the dvd... love the shows so much that I'm buying them instead

     

    OMG yes!! Will the Dal ja episodes come in a photo-covered case from KBS? I want something to put them in... collectors item

     

    Also I noticed Emperor of the Sea's box sets are all gone :blink: Is there a way I can buy the official box sets, not bootlegs? I'd hate to have to support bootlegs, but on every site I've looked they're all gone

    Hi, I'm looking to buy My Lovely Kim Sam Soon & Jumong boxsets from Borders.com because they have some pretty awesome coupons (40% off w/ free shipping) Has anyone bought boxsets from them? And if you did, how did it go?

     

    Also, I'm looking to buy Dal Ja's Spring boxset, but YesAsia or Dvdsfromkorea have it. Where the heck do I go to buy this show?? I've got all the episodes on my laptop but I so want this show! Thanks

    it has to be tragic...

    Yeon is a buyo princess and muhyul is a koguryeo prince... and these two countries are enemies :tears:

     

    well... IMO I want it to be tragic... I love to cry :P

    ok... I got confused a little bit over this part...

    I'm guessing it's the sword Jumong used that Mopalmo made him.. idk, lol there's too many sacred relics to keep count. It would really make since if it was a bow

     

    Wait so if Yeon's a princess from Buyeo, wouldn't she be the daughter of Daeso? Ewww wtf Muhyul... Messing with your grandfather's arch enemy's daughter.. that means she's an offspring of Seolran :crazy:

    the third episode looks exciting! this is seriously Jumong 2, and the guy who plays Daeso looks like he's gonna be an awesome Daeso. Its so funny when everyone keeps referring to King Jumong and his burial site. Daeso is looking for his tomb for that sword, it's ala Buyeo's Talmu bow. And you can really tell that Siggy's gonna be really different from Jumong. Ahhh!! this show gets so interesting each episode!!

    Woah I just watched the first episode, this show is good!! It's crazy, this is really gonna be a good show. I liked how many Jumong references there were.. this is really Jumong 2!! Lol, his kingdom he built has so many crazy stuff happening. I wanna see who plays King Dae So in this, it'd be so good if it was the guy from JuMong, i think his name is Kim Seung Soo or something, if he was playing it that'd be so cool!

     

    I can really say that I'm watching this show mainly for my hubby Siggy and King Dae So's death!!

    this should be a good thread! i'm currently learning japanese @ school, so far we've only been practicing in speaking japanese. the hardest thing so far is remembering what to say in a conversation. It's great to practice the it by repetition, but I find myself forgetting to say the words off of memory. Does anyone have any tips for me in remembering the sounds/gestures of the language??
