The season drama dun look appealin now, gt alot resons, i take my oppinions n plz take no offense...
1st=male lead ugly!!! He dun really look gd to fit the show but of coz, as he is facin competitiors of famous hearttrobs BYJ n SHH, he is the least appealin.....
2nd= female lead looks far too young...She looks ok,SYJ= pure, CJW=touchin n SHG=pretty,gd actin n sad(all based on the impression in their show)
3rd= it's true tt summer scent wasnt tt great, sell on its casts n director's reputation...I wonder does all the scriptwriter for the show the same??
4th=Frm summer scent onwards, the director's wks seems to b tryin to hard..
Autumm= sweet pasts( MGY),sad,touchin,the best, left the deepest impression as it's abt 1st luv n gd casts...
Winter=( funny==>sad)gd impretation, sad, also on 1st luv yet it shows almost the same tink as 1st 1, abit too draggy..hahaha..
Summer= at 1st i thought the story was quite gd but the the bad impretation leds its failue, i watch of coz bcoz SHH yet it's a big dissaptment, i tinks it's nt the casts but the script..hahaha..
i dunno whether i'll watch the spring but mayb watch choi si won instead of of the show..hahaha...

I don't find the male lead ugly
, but I do agree that he doesn't have an instant attraction. I still think we should give him a chance, because a lot of actors don't "shine" unless you see them onscreen. I'm not saying that as a fact, but we should give the guy a chance. hehe.I didn't think Lee Jun Ki was attractive until I watched him in My Girl... and so did most other people. In fact, I remember a lot of people posting negative comments about him one day, and the next day after they finished "my girl" their opinion seemed to reverse. Just an example.
I don't think Han Hyo Joo looks too young at all. She may be 18-19, but if no one told me... I would have never guessed correctly. She actually look really mature for her age. To me, she looks like she's in her early to mid 20s. I also think she's cute, and a better choice then the other potential main female leads for this drama.
I thought Daniel Henney was "ok" in Sam Soon, but it seems like his character may be really charming in this drama...

i think that it's good that daniel isn't the main male lead
because he just recently started coming out
and i honestly don't think he's experienced enough
for a big role.. hehe.. just my opinion~~
Yeah. And plus.. it's a korean drama, and most viewers are korean, so the actor must speak korean A LOT. Daniel Henney doesn't seem fluent enough...
But I'm actually looking forward to seeing him and Hoo Jyu.

The original plan was shattered after some translators/subber bailed out... So right now, we are stuck on ep. 11& 12, which needs to be translated in order to be subbed, and complete the drama..

yeah seriously, they totally left jung woo out in the last couple of episodes...felt like they were trying to get rid of him or something...bastards! hahaha and i KNOW if YR was real, she wouldve chosen JW all the way..cuz i mean come on..WHO CAN RESIST?! XD
I agree. And it's not even about the way he look, it's his personality overall in the drama...
JW was always so nice to her...
In one of the episode, YR said that she liked GC because he was so nice to her as if she was his real cousin... Well... JW was nice to her throughout the entire drama, yet she still doesn't like him
So I don't think that's a really good reason as to why she likes GC. The only advantage that GC has over JW is that he's more stabilized w/ a job, whereas JW lives off his family's fortune. But even so, toward the end, JW became a hard-working company man...I like GC's characer but I thought that JW deserves her more. He seems to put more effort into her, so I can't help but feel sorry for him at the end, and I was surprised that she didn't fall for his charm...
My sister was laughing so hard when the REAL Da Hee said that if it was her, she'd go for Jeong Woo at the end... If you put this in a real life situation, I think most girls would have gone for JW too, though there will be a few that will be like YR and pick GC. Just my opinion.

i asked at LJK.com about what was going on in the music video and this is what people said (it makes sense too)
When LJK was doing the show, the girl fell for him. But he was already going out with her friend. She decides she wants to be closer to LJK so she tries to do the same sport as him. When she rolled the drink to him LJK thought that his girl friend rolled it to him. So when they were in the study group he rolls a soda to his girl friend and winks at her. The girls pulls his girl friend aside because she thought something was wrong with LJK and his girl friend tell her about how he went blind due to a chemical misuse. LJK and his girlfriend switch one eye so they could atleast see a little. So whenever his girl friend cries, his one eye that his girlfriend gave him cries also. LJK is starting to loose sight again and the girl challenges him to a kumdo battle. she hits him but he cant hit her back. after the battle she taps his stomach with the stick which was a sign of saying "i already know". He finds that out when she was drunk and he was carrying her and her tear rolled onto his face. He starts falling for her but she doesnt know that so after their kumdo battle she wants to let him be comfortable so she decides to just leave and not show her emotion to LJK. But LJK likes her so he took her on the air balloon and what not...................................................

^Even though the CF made him a little bit feminine, but I dunno... I like it! Haha... I don't think any other actors can pull off what LJK was doing... because they would most likely turn out looking gay (no offense) which I dont think is the intention for his character in the CF...
I like the expressions on his face! haha.

It's a really nice interpretation! Almost everything make sense to me, except for the whole thing about LJK thinking that the person who rolled the soda to him is his "Girlfriend". In the scenes before that scene, the MAIN girl was seen dressed up in a Kumdo(?) outfit, trying to get him to teach her... so it only make sense that he should think that it's HER that's giving him the soda(since she's trying to get on his good side)..
And the whole one-eye thing concept is pretty cool! But that idea never came up in my mind when I was watching it... and music videos are suppose to be someone interpretable, right? hehe.
I wish they could just write an official summary of the mv so we dont have to sit and make guesses! hehe.
Man, Lee Soo Young's mvs are always so confusing, but I like.

Keep in mind that ALL melodramatic chick flick receives negative reviews...
Most reviewers tend to be male and so this genre might not appeal to them...
Have anyone who is in Korea right now watched this movie yet? I want to know what YOU think of it, because I like hearing reviews from my peers rather than these critics. They tend to look toward "originality" and other stuff that I sometimes don't care for much. All I want to know is whether it is enjoyable or not.

I think Lee Jun Ki already has a gf when the girl who's watching him do the "Show Show Show" stares at him so longingly. Because he waves to her and a girl behind her waves back. (the girlfriend, not the one-sided love girl)
I also think the gf is the one-sided love girl's best friend. Because when she gets drunk, she falls on LJK's gf and is all "ainggg~." Lee Jun Ki realizes how much she loves him when he's piggy-backing her and her tears fall into his hair and face.
The gum do scene between the girl who one-sidedly loves him and Lee Jun Ki is probably the last seeing thing he does before his eyes go. And the group of friends he hangs out decide to give the two of them a last hurrah by surprising them with that hot air balloon trip.
My heart crumpled when I saw the pained look on her face as she walks away from him in the end because she's trying to be strong for him and forget him, but she can't. If I was ever in a position where the man I loved loved someone else (esp someone close to me), I'd die.

If this was just one music video, I would go with assumption that the other girl is just his friend, but since this is a 2 part music video.... who knows.
But then, if the OTHER girl is Lee Jun Ki's girlfriend in the music video... then I gotta say that Lee Jun Ki's friends in the music video is really messed up (cuz then they'd be helping him hook up with the main girl...[blindfolding her to go on the hott air balloon ride with him] KNOWING that he has a girlfriend already.)
I don't know, I guess I'll stick to my thought since there weren't any scene the music video that gave hints that the OTHER girl is his girl friend... except for the soda rolling scene, which is somehow connected to the the MAIN girl...

This is how I interpret the music video:

The girl saw Lee Jun Ki putting on a show on the street showing his amazing sword skills (cutting the straws with his sword), and she thought it was relly cool so she wanted to learn too. So I guess she tried to get on his good side by giving him that can of soda(?) haha. He finally gave in and decided to teach her. Im pretty sure that at that time, he WASN'T blind. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Thens comes the scene with Lee Jun Ki, the girl, and all those other people sitting together playing something . The main girl probably thought something weird was going on with Lee Jun Ki, so she pulled her friend(who knows Lee Jun Ki) over and asked her what was up. Her friend then revealed that while Lee Jun Ki was working with her, some chemical went into his eyes causing him to lose much of his eyesight. There's some flashbacks that I don't quite get, and hopefully it'll get cleared up in the 2nd part. And at this point, I think Lee Jun Ki is interested in the main girl. Cuz according to MY interpretation, the part when he was rolling the soda can, Lee Jun Ki must have meant to roll it over to the main girl, but because his sight wasn't too great, he missed his target and it rolled over to the OTHER girl instead (poor girl, she probably thought that he likes her). And when he was giving that wink after he rolled the soda can, he SEEM to be winking at the main girl. And it seems logical that the soda can was meant for her because in one previous scene, she gave him one... so he probably wanted to give a soda can back in return?
So yeah, then he probably asked his friends to help him blindfold her so he can take her out on a hot air balloon ride. And on the hot air balloon ride, he confessed that he liked her through his ACTIONS (putting his hand over her hand... etc).
So basically, at the end of part 1, Lee Jun Ki and the girl like each other, but the girl is sad because he's kinda blind...

But yeah, no offense but lee jun ki's character in the mv is kinda selfish. I mean, being blind and everything but still pursuing her? Does he want her to suffer for the rest of her life supporting him?
I'm thinking OUT of the box.
One note on the music video. I HATE how the video is organized. I had to watch the video 3 times to have a good idea of what is going on. I don't mind the flashbacks, but some of the parts in the video seemed so disorganized and random (like putting some random scene right inbetween two scenes that are suppose to be consecutive). And so many super short scenes... my eyes interpret things really slowly... haha.

I'm gonna ask this question about the music video before i go to bed for anyone who have watched it.
You know the part when she gave him the soda can and ran off? Well, in the other scene when Lee Jun Ki, the girl, and the other people were playing some game and he rolled the can over to the OTHER girl, did he do it on purpose or was it his intention to give it to THE girl, but it accidentally landed on on the OTHER girl's hand?
Cuz it was sort of confusing.

No offense to the actress in the music video, but I find Lee Jun Ki "prettier" than her.

Even though I agree with the movie review that LYH has a good performance, but I don't really think it's "particularly good" compare to her previous acting. If you watch those mv she's in, it basically the same style of acting. This is just my opinion, no offence
Actually, I saw some of Lee Yun Hee's previous work(small roles in dramas).... and I wasn't impressed
.So hopefully, her acting improved.

^I'm pretty sure he plays a GUY in the movie... but he plays a guy that has feminine features, which is why th the king falls in love with him in the story... (from what I've heard). Also, LJK is an "entertainer" or "clown" in the movie... so sometimes, while he performs, he dress up as a woman...

But hopefully, it will air in the US (like it did for TaeGuki). And if it does, I'm going to drag my good friend to the theatre to watch it with me. The last time I did that (for TaeGuki), my friend loved it!
