I have been constantly monitoring their activities since their debut, and just when I thought I've seen all they have to offer, they surprise me yet again. For example, I never knew Junho's level of b-boying skills were that high. Yes, I have seen him in variety shows here and there doing a little, but with the time constraints, I believe he never got the opportunity to give it his all. And now, I'm seeing him do the handstand in Ninja Assassin, he successfully did the same high-elevation backflip that Jay did in 2008, his amazing performance on Strong Heart, etc.

nothing to say to this except junho wasn't in ninja assassin, that was rain.

a lot of people are thinking of leaving the fandom if this ends badly NOT because they dont love the other 6 boys nor because they are jay biased, but because JYPE has manipulated 2PM and the fans so much over the past 5-6 months....im tired of being heartbroken, and emotionally worn out from all of this. i may have a bias for jay but i can't stand to see JYPE abuse the other 6 boys for much longer. il hold on for now, for jay...but as soon as the words out, im not supporting JYPE anymore.

i didnt watch the 6pm battle [and neither should you if you're doing the thing that is taboo to say in this thread]....but i completely agree with what Kabler said....when you watch jay on stage, you can really feel his presence. and jype is really silly to let that go. if they brought jay back, they would make no losses, there would be none of this stupid division in the fandom....im slowly getting further and further away from these boys. im sick of the mould which jyp is forcing them into.

why yes, you understood perfectly=] JYPE needs to learn that sometimes, LESS IS MORE. its gotten to the point where the ab-flashing has gone from being hopefully anticipated at some point to "oh. AGAIN." for the billionth time. i think they need better, and longer lasting marketing strategies than rippling, sometimes air-brushed/painted-on abdominal muscles, as much as that appeals to a large female fanbase.

and just reiterating what others have said, the group dynamics without jay are completely different, its not the same...and its really unfair to think that if jay is permanently kicked out from 2pm, he has no tertiary education [the possibility of which he gave up to go to korea], he has a huge trainee debt to pay off after earning pretty much NOTHING after working his butt off for 4 yrs in korea...he will be back to square ONE. no money, 4 yrs of his time essentially wasted...when he could've been OWNING korea.

jay needs to come back so his hard work and pursuit of his dreams will not be in vain. not to mention, we should be doing this to fight for what is just and right. JYPE cant keep abusing the rights of all their artists...of which names i will not mention as this is a 2pm thread.

...i completely expect someone to flame me for my opinion later. haha.

EDIT: shirt ripping is the fashion. really now? i dont see that many male idol groups doing it. and if anything...they did it after jay originally did [e.g MBLAQ], so 2pm set the trend. saying that...a LOT of people became attracted to 2PM because they WERE DIFFERENT TO THE REST. so why would they want to blend in by shirt-ripping if EVERYONE is doing it now, hmm??? there may be a lot of people who liked excessive skinship in that recent performance, but there were a lot that didnt....you can see yourself by going back through this thread. that is NOT the mass audience.

i also believe the other boys are together and earning money, albeit not very much. jay on the other hand...is alone and isolated from all of this. if he is cut off completely....i think he is in a much worse situation than the other six.

I think if you watch the video of Spris CF, you will see they do a lot of acrobatic moves. Plus I don't think it's right to demand 2PM to stick to acrobatics all the time because the audience will get bored. Seriously, if they keep doing acrobatic moves for every song they promote, people will get sick of it, and 2PM themselves will become very tired practicing those moves all the time. As long as they still bring energetic performances, I think 2PM should not be restricted to doing acrobatic.

im not writing much in soompi anymore because im tired of all the fights and people accusing each other. im personally a bit disappointed in taec, but its true, HOTTEST NEED TO UNITE. AND SUPPORT THE BOYS..AS SEVEN. regardless who you love the most, we still love taec [despite the rumours/possible facts] and im sure deep down he loves jay more than any of us.

but we only have a few weeks left until decisions are out and permanent. TIME IS RUNNING OUT. so please do your bit and support the international hottest projects, and...hold off supporting 6pm merchandise for now. if jays back, you can buy all the merchandise u want. the cut of money 6pm gets from these endorsements is MINISCULE anyway.

I find it extremely uncalled for when people criticize others that are trying to make a difference in this Jay controversy.

Fact of the matter is we don't know a thing, so no one here is in the position to judge a 'fan' or a supporter for whatever action they may be doing, unless its blatantly causing harm, for example sending JYP a drink filled with super glue, you know... extreme stuff like this.

If we don't know the real fact and truth behind JYPE's decision no matter how many 'associates' and 'friend' post on the internet, we won't know for sure if our action are right or wrong, and unfortunately many have reasons to also not believe JYPE's released information.

We can only hope that our action will result in a positive outcome. So rather than people rattling off at other fans and supporters, do your part and support. Whether it be the Underground KHottest's stand on the matter (the banned topic) or be supportive and send letters to JYPE.

If you don't think it's worth you time or it won't make a difference, then I ask you to stop criticizing fans that are actually doing something because they are trying their hardest to persuade JYPE.

It doesn't make you any less of a fan if you opt to sit back from this controversy, but it doesn't give you the right to judge the fans that are scrambling around trying their best. This is solely my opinion and if anyone thinks differently, so be it.

what she said. just because you think that what some fans are doing is nuts because we have no impact on JYPE, at least we are TRYING. so if there are others that want to just sit back and wait for JYPE to bring us news [the company who has been spitting lies and contraversial information at us for months...], then fine. we dont FORCE anyone to do what we are doing.

its been a long time since iv posted here...soompi seems to always be full of conflict. nevertheless, im hoping that with all the rumours dispelled in the past week or so that hottest can UNITE together to fight for jay, and boycott. the kid himself is losing hope and its breaking my heart...that he may give up on something he has worked so long and so HARD for...

its probably been said but new fans do not know jay like the old ones do, didnt know the JAYNESS and hence will not care as much to bring him back. because 6pm are doing great without him, right??? and thats just it....unless we SHOW jype together, ALL of us that jay is worth something and is FOREVER leadja of 2pm....well...we're going to lose him.

At this point, I am mulling over my escape plan, depending on what falls out in the next few weeks. If Jay is not back in 2PM, I am seriously considering turning my back on kpop. I will support Jay forever, but not the machine that treated him so shabbily. I know the other 6 guys are talented, and they work their little fingers to the bone, but ultimately they are just puppets, too, and I will be too bitter and wary to watch them with joy.

Again, I know that people ask, "why are the HOTTESTs so divided." I really don't know. I know what you mean. Honestly, Jay is not really my favorite in 2PM either. It should be Woo. Like I <3 woo unconditionally. If Woo announced one day that he's going to do a solo trot project, i'd probably be like.. oh yes woo, you'll be very good at it. I look forward to it. And i'll start listening to trot and stuff although i've never listened to it in my life before. For Jay, it's more like his performance, stage charisma, and variety wit, all that entertains me so I really like him as well. But like if he decided to do trot one day I probably will not listen and follow (lol). Like SeoulBeats Ellie said, Jay is the Barney in Barney and Friends... without him, the group isn't the same. It's not putting down the other members, but yeah, when the members change, the group dynamics change, and it's not the same group anymore.

I'M SO VERY ANGRY WITH ALLKPOP RIGHT NOW!

Remember my Fan Account about meeting Jae and going to all those Bboy events and watching him dance? A LOT of people asked me to post the videos I took of Jay dancing on youtube. I was like NO! It's his privacy. But then I searched youtube and I found vids of him dancing from the same exact battle I was at posted~ I was kinda like ...dood. Privacy! But the uploader had just named it "The Famous Guy" or something.. and fans never mention "IT'S JAY!!!" so it was okay. Then, the uploaders took down the videos because they felt bad for invading his privacy.

And yet, the SAME video was posted by SOME ELSE who had DOWNLOADED the video, and then the video was sent to ALLKPOP who is all: "HEY WORLD! LOOK! IT'S JAY! IF YOU WANT TO SEE HIM JUST GO STALK HIM AT BBOY EVENTS CUZ HE'LL BE THERE!"

Jeez. Give the man some freakin privacy! GAH.

Oh hohohoho and if ONCE was not enough, the SECOND post was but up: "ANOTHER VIDEO OF JAY DANCING!"

just a heads to everyone, the person who made the comments on 2PMKhun's twitter deleted it, so it no longer exists. im not sure what that could mean.

and i know everyones clearly not agreeing about the boycott, but i just have to add this as something else to think about. ignore me if u want, im just putting it out there.

korean hottest are boycotting 6pm....now, im pretty sure they would have much better insight into this situation than any international hottest...and they would definitely NOT all be jay's fans. yet, they are still boycotting...hence...there has to be a good, and valid reason for doing so, right? they dont want to hurt the boys anymore than we do.....

there is so much we do not know, but the boycott is happening because we want 2pm back as 7...and for their happiness.

another thing as was said before...a lot of us were heartbroken when jay left, and have grown to really love him and the other 2pm boys...a lot. now...the majority of us dont know jay personally at all. and yet can still feel this way. so...how do u think the other 6 boys feel? having spent years training with jay, living with him, sharing stupid moments with him, sharing their pain and frustrations with each other, seeing each other 24/7...do u think they can let him go so easily? in 4 days? they have appear like it doesnt matter and get on with everything because its their job, theyr contracted.

I know a lot of people already said this and i might be repeating on what they say, but I really feel the need to say this. You can take in what say, ignore it or do whatever. I'm not trying to force my opinion on you or anything. But like I've said a long time ago, WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE. Well at least that is the way I see it. If you choose the boycott 6PM the worse thing that would happen is probably don't get get any sells and whatever. But if you choose to support 6PM, the worst thing that could happen is that Jay WOULD never come back, or at least have a very hard time since it would seem like 6PM can still be successful without Jay. As everyone else said, whether you choose to boycott or not it's entirely up to you. No one can tell you what to do. It hurts me to boycott the boys but if it'll bring Jay back, I'm willing to do anything. Personally, I have nothing to lose, either 2PM get Jay's back, or 2PM won't get any sells. Sorry if I offended anyone.

I'm one of those who stands on middle ground because of how I feel. I want 2PM to continue on because as someone else said they have debts that they have to pay plus they have to continue living. If they wait for Jay to decide to come back they will pretty much be putting their lives on hold. At the same time Jay is still a part of 2PM. All Seven boys did the work and built a relationship in order for them to succeed and without Jay present that bond they built will kind of be incomplete because he ISN'T there. Because of that bond I will not by the album and i think because of that bond a lot of people will support the boycott. I mean you can watch the video and listen to the music WITHOUT buying the album. You can see their faces WITHOUT buying the product they are endorsing. 2PM can still be successful WITHOUT adding to JYPE's income.

I guess what I'm saying is we can support the boycott AND still see our boys grow. You don't HAVE to BUY something in order to still be a supporter of the person endorsing a product. We can all still SUPPORT our boys by rooting for them at the same time we can still BOYCOTT products and JYPE. Because if we DON'T buy the album but instead download the singles from places that don't get JYPE income we will still be supporting 2PM. We can still see them on CFs but NOT buy the product. Either way our boys will gain support AND JYPE will be boycotted.

in short, 2pm are severely underpaid. in 2009 from the time the debuted til now, they earnt $5000 COLLECTIVELY.this means approximately $700 each for THE ENTIRE YEAR. on top of this...jay has some serious trainee debts towards JYP,approximately 30 million won. which is approximately $30,000...the kid doesnt come from a wealthy family. he busted his butt training in korea for 4 years...to pretty much earn nothing.

all his blood, sweat, tears and LONELINESS were to earn money for his family, and rep his bboy crew....

now before this whole myspace thing went down, jay had a massive company sponsoring him...samsung, who were going to give him a CF all to himself. as soon as this hit, samsung dropped him. now jype is in financial trouble...so what does he do? kick jay to the curb + back to seattle, and push the other 6 boys into the CF in order to keep the samsung deal.

Hmmmm. I have to agree with Viviean, that I find the information from 20D hard to believe. From a business standpoint, it is a truism that it is very dangerous, usually suicidal to change the branding of a popular item. For example, if you've built up Tide laundry soap, sold lots of it, promoted it, and everyone bought it, why would you suddenly change it's name to "Current" or something, change the box from orange to blue, and expect to make money? When Nissan changed the name of its cars (at least in America) from Datsun to Nissan, their sales tanked and they have never recovered the popularity they once had - Toyota grabbed it from them and never looked back. People said, 'How come they don't make Datsuns any more? That was a pretty good car..."

So when I hear that 2pm is going to shed its image and become yet another pretty boy band (yawn) and wear gold lame instead of black (yikes!) I just can't believe anyone would attempt such boneheaded marketing. And I think many fans would walk away (or at least pull back to wait for something better).

unfortunately, the changing the concept bit im pretty sure IS true...photos don't lie, and i dont think 2OD waste their time to make them up. as for fans walking away, YES. thats the POINT. jyp is trying to repackage the boys so that they attract a new group of fans and the old ones that miss jay, will be disregarded. its like trying to push the beast image and jay out of the picture completely.

and yeh. new concept = completely gay. i like the fact 2pm was manly and not girly, anhd this completely defeats the purpose. urgh.

the point isnt that we are annoying the uploader, the issue is that by commenting you're creating unnecessary attention for jay, when he is already having enough trouble staying anonymous in seattle. otherwise why would he have initially denied he was jaebum when the girls asked?

give the boy space, give him privacy...let him be a normal kid for once.

yeah seriously. someone was stupid enough to point out exactly what he was wearing in the comments too. IM TRYING NOT TO BE MEAN BUT REALLY, WHO IS THAT friggin DUMB!? just dont comment at all, dont MENTION JAY, for once in his life let him remain anonymous. this is getting me really annoyed.

does marking the comments as spam get them removed from the video, or just from your own page?

hahahaha i was there when they started that twittering trend thing...i cant believe it was successful!! but on the other hand, completely hilarious....so everyone tweet #wooyoungscheeks tonight if u have twitter!! hahahahaha.

as for the beast thing...well im not supposed to say anything abt it, but i happen to like the other groups. one of the other boys from hotblood is in b2st and i think they should be supported...2pm will always be number ONE in my heart [i love u jay<3 hehe] but doesnt mean u need to bash all the other groups.

about some of u being followed by JYP via twitter, are u guys being spamming his twitter these days..LOL...just kidding!guess, you guys can update your status to Jay related...it's like spamming but indirectly..LOL...just to show support and how we need Jay back in 2PM...either JYP is holding him back or Jay's holding himself back, that's the other issue...guess JYP really wants to know how much Jay meant to us day by day and whether support for jay is increase or decrease each day by the status at twitter...maybe he decides what to do next by the ppl he follows via twitter...i wish he's following me though so i'll be like updating my status with only JAY every single day!LOL

haha i already only signed up to twitter because of the boys and jays my favourite...so 90% of my tweets were jay and 2pm related before jyp started following me anyway. i wonder why hes following....

im one of the people who started crying when i watched the fanc ams...i couldnt stop tearing when i saw they left a gap for jay when dancing, and that his audio was not covered by any of the other boys [as they would usually do when one of them is not present]...made me sad to hear his voice and to see that the boys did not cover over it....so some parts looked so empty...the end of AA, the bit just before woo sings in niga mipda where jay gets the last popping bit....sigh.

made me so sad....T___T but im really proud of khottest for doing what they did, and for all the fans from other clubs screaming jays name. that boy is so loved right now, jyp needs ot get a clue.

on a similar note, how many of you is jyp following on twitter? he seems to be following a lot of hottest, including me. im wondering why...
