Have you guys heard about the casting rumors for lotus step ?
BaiLu and LuoYunxi....
My personal opinion both actors are good and young looking and since they just had a very epic drama together if the rumor it's true then a lot of new people will tune to LS.
But I admit that I'll miss the current LiangSong, the actor really did a good job but sadly it was obvious that he wasn't going to be the lead for lotus step

I'm glad they changed it, DHDJ if I remember correctly it's supposed to be physically "young" only his aura being ancient and the original Zhe Yan looks too old for that role. And we can all agree Vengo pulls the white hair eforlessly.

So I just finished the blue whisper and our baby fox really suffered in that one, but that's not the point I just wanna say that whoever cast Reba as a fox the first time must be a genius, that girl is the best at playing foxes, she looks so cute and playful but fierce when she has to...
And I just find funny that Zhi He (the actress) plays the love rival in both dramas
too bad for her because all boys want our girl

So the other day I saw a tiktok asking for our favorite fictional character (immediately I answered Dijun) and then they ask that if that character tried to kill me how long would I last? (obviously less than a second was my answer) but that got me thinking, if we take other fictional universes (lord of the rings, Harry Potter, marvel, etc) would our Dong Hua still be the most powerful ? Or is there a character more powerful than him ? What are your thoughts

And what about XiaoBai (pre dream/marriage), when they were student/teacher ? I understand like 0.0002% of their conversations but sometimes her tone was informal and naughty or even a little rude (to me) I wonder if I'm just crazy or she's just too crazy to care about those rules

Probably a dumb question but I always wondered, when people talk to Dong Hua do they use like a super formal speech? Or just formal as like when we talk to a stranger? I guess some people talk informally to him like Lian Song tho

My Journey to ELOD started with anime then Taiwanese dramas in like 2006, moved on to Korean dramas and only a little over a year ago to chinese dramas.
I believe it was the romance of tiger and rose my first costume chinese drama and I'm not sure how I ended up in ELOD and it was love at first sight, since I was new to the genre and to the story the first time I watched it I was so confused but also so invested in it, so as soon as I finished I re-watch it for the first time and my obsession began.
I was lucky enough to find the forum and a link to the book in here and to continue with this amazing journey with all of you.
Anyway to end my rambling here's a picture of silver haired XiaoBai (it's how I imagine their daughter will look like) and also sorry if what I write sometimes doesn't make sense I'm normally only half awake when I'm in here...

The other day I started Vengo's newest drama and although it's not the type of drama I usually watch I'm so glad I did, firstly because it's about women empowerment but also because of vengo's character personality, it's almost as a mortal Dong Hua, very powerful and strict but cares about people, and the other day someone referred to him as "ice cube face" the way I snorted can't be described

The rumors might not be true but I was very excited to have any news about it, just knowing the adaption it's in the works makes me happy, hopefully we can see the drama in the next couple of years
