hi guys..
i've been lurking around for a long time.
i want to share something with you guys.
u guys need to check out this ff Back To You by LilyLove.
this is the sequel of The Taming of Kim Taeyeon. even though the main couple are junsu-taeyeon (obviously. see the tittle?), it still worth it to read this story because the story not only focus on taesu but people around them too (seohyun is taeyeon younger sister)
if any of you had read TToKT, i'm sure you guys recognize LilyLove's style of writing. her ff was well written.
This story is set 10 years after the events of TToKT. seohyun still mourning over her previous love. the best way to move on is to find a new a love. and guess who is the lucky guy??
here some quote from chapter 2.
“Hi” she heard a man with a distinctive accent greet her
“I’ll be with you in a second” she said still not looking up “Please seat down”
“Thank you” the man said before seating across from her
“So, Mr. Jung Yong…” Seohyun started to say, but her voice faltered when she locked eyes with the stranger
“Jung Yonghwa at your service” he said charmingly “It’s nice to meet you”
“Hello” Seohyun said in bewilderment “I’m Seo… Seo…”
“… hyun, right? We spoke on the phone” Yonghwa recalled
“Yeah, we did” Seohyun said awkwardly “So tell me a little about yourself”
“I’m originally from Busan. My parents own a restaurant there” he revealed “I used to help out when I was a kid and going to culinary school just seemed natural”
“You like cooking” she concluded with a goofy smile but recomposed herself right after “Of course you do, you wouldn’t be a chef if you didn’t like cooking. Please continue”
“Well, I moved to Seoul last month” he added “You must have noticed my accent”
“I like it” she blurted out “But I like accents in general, not just yours”
Yonghwa laughed “I like accents too”
Seohyun moved on her chair uncomfortably “Anyway, do you have any signature dish or a specialty?”
“You’ll probably think this is stupid but I really like using sweet potatoes in my recipes” he said embarrassedly
“Really?” Seohyun asked in surprise
“It’s just so unfair how people ignore sweet potatoes because they give you gas” he said in disappointment “Being healthy has a prize, you know?”
“Yes!” she agreed enthusiastically “I mean, if you say so”
“Are you feeling okay? Your face is getting kind of red” Yonghwa noted
