HoRang... ...
Well, HoRang wanting to get married soon isn't a crime. Her wanting to raise beautiful kids and be a housewife isn't a crime. And I understand her angstyness about her fertility as her age increases. Only... she has to see whether WonSeok is able to meet all her wants now. .
And I don't think he can any time soon. His career is much too unstable to give her the life he wants to give her and he's afraid of being not enough for her and her parents as is yet. Plus, he's not even 30 and as a male, he doesn't have fertility issues that correspond with age so he's not in a rush.
Now HoRang must decide what she's going to do - leave WonSeok and find another guy who can give her what she wants or stay with WonSeok while waiting for him or actually get married to WonSeok, but hold off the housewife dreams. Maybe she can still be a baby mama soon after they marry, but she'll have to know that compromises are in order. She might have to be a working mom, might not have a house large enough to fit their pink couch.
Well, I just frowned at her tantrums earlier, because like WonSeok, she didn't know his insecurities regarding marriage until now and probably is perplex why he doesn't get it when it's clear as intensely distilled fresh water for her. But that's because they don't talk again. Well, hope she learns something from this.

Welp episode 6 was very....interesting. Be the end of this episode I wasn’t a big fan of Ji Ho, she forgot the criteria of her marriage. I don’t think Se Hee told her he was uncomfortable to be mean, all he did was remain very open and told her how he felt. The fact that she got mad and reacted that way shows that she’s in over her head to me. She’s not like him, he’s not looking for love or a partner, he just wants someone to keep is life exactly how it is. Now all of a sudden she wants to be mean, she wants to hurt him. The near fact that she said she had no boyfriend but forgot to mention she had a husband... sigh, it’s a train wreck waiting to happen.
Why is her not feeding him and her saying she doesn't have a boyfriend being mean? It's true - they're separate entities, none with any obligations to the other or rights to the other - they are NOT husband and wife - so why must she share food with him and think about him when it comes to her own love life or any other consideration if he's not willing to share with her anything except for the house (that she pats rent for)?
They're just tenant and landlord. JiHo might want to hurt him, but the way she does it, it won't hurt him unless he cares. And he's not supposed to because they're nothing - they're fake.

awwww...I hope SH finds it later and ends up putting it on the cat himself.
I just hope that he knows what he did to offend her. He's got a point, but he's so hilariously direct. When he means well, it's swoony. When he's unhappy, his words cut like a knife to the heart.

Mr Robot said that it was uncomfortable that she was renaming his cat. And confirmed when she asked if her being at his workplace with all his co-workers was uncomfortable.
And the clincher was, "Even though I know that it might be required sometimes, as much as is possible, let's avoid all portrayals as a couple".
TADAAAAA... And JiHo crashes back to earth and eats her own breakfast herself. Because they're not married, they're not a couple, they're not anything. And he should feed himself.

SeHee:
Your tears, are they not stopping?
Then, let's go together.
Because it's okay even if you cry, go with me.
I'll be beside (you).
JiHo:
I thought it was something easy... marriage.
Something that was beneficial to both you and me.
But somehow, it was a meeting of hearts.
A difficult thing... we've started (it).

JiHo's mom:
Her dad doesn't think much of her, she's always overshadowed by her younger brother... and she met a bad mom. She has had it hard, our daughter. Even then, thankfully she didn't falter, because she's so smart. "So she won't live like her mom after all," I thought of that and was relieved.
In the world these times, you have to meet good parents no matter what. Being smart alone is completely useless. SeHee-ssi, can I ask of just two things from you? Later, when JiHo wants to write... can't you just let her write? I can help with all the living (expenses/ chores), so, even if it's later, so that she can write, so that she doesn't give up on her dreams, so that she doesn't live like her mom... and... our JiHo, once she cries, she won't be able to stop. So... such that she doesn't cry alone... even if she cries, please, definitely, stay beside her, together.
BoMi: SeHee-nim, the groom has to go in now, what do we do?
SeHee: Eo...
JiHo: Please go. I'll settle this myself so... just go first please.
BoMi: Then SeHee-nim, I'll help with Bride-nim, so... Ah, tissues...
JiHo: Ah, please get it together, Yoon JiHo...

So... end of episode and what an adorable episode this was.
Anyway, about WonSeok and SangGu. Pfft. WonSeok ran away from home and now drinks every night, mostly with SangGu who begs him to go home. They wonder WHY HoRang wasn't happy with the sofa... and SangGu has this great idea that maybe what she wanted wasn't the sofa... but marriage.
WonSeok: "... eh?"
SangGu: "You said you two dated for 7 years! For normal people, this is exactly (the time) to get married!"
WonSeok: "Our Hyung-nim... our Rang-ie is not that kind of normal woman you know!"
For some reason, SangGu accepts that nonsense and comes up with... "ah, that sofa... was supposed to come with a TV, that's why she was like that."
And SuJi totally told HoRang to just tell WonSeok that she wanted to get married, because the one who wants to should just say it. (You go girl!) But of course, HoRang is aghast at that idea. (Boo!!!)

OH MAI GAHT, THESE TWO IDIOTS!!!!!!
WONSEOK AND SANGGU ARE... idiots. Complete idiots... I'll explain later. LOL, these two are making my sides burst from laughter.
And this episode is already making me rethink my judgement of both fathers in just a few minutes.

hahaha I'm waiting to see how JiHo's first time meeting SeHee parents will go. SeHee is their only son, that comes with expectations and some sort of protectiveness. I laughed at the thought of both inlaws meeting each other for first time as well. What kind of animal sound will we hear from his father?
Because this is their first time being parents... I just find it's funny how JiHo is not her dad's princess. Is it because she is an independent responsible soul even when she was a little girl? We don't see a Father of the Bride display here. Yet anyway. What kind of father takes the first bite out of a little girl's cake without giving her the first piece on her birthday? lol Let me call my own dad and ask him about it!
Don't bother. Because there's a huge probability that your dad thinks of you as his princess but JiHo's dad doesn't at all. She became an independent responsible soul because she had no one to fall back on - neither her man-first father nor her naive mother. She'd be happy enough if her brother doesn't cause any trouble that she has to fix. Her dad probably thinks of her as a chambermaid, like she's some kind of employee there to work for him and all male-kind. When he got worked up over her living with a guy, that was because his chauvinistic male pride was taking a hit - his female offspring isn't "chaste", ~what will the people think?!~ SeHee's declaration that he won't let her hands get wet (I'm still guffawing over that hilariously nonsensical line and his very displeased reaction to that lack of logic) just makes him feel better about himself - at least she's not unwanted!! Good for his image as her father!!
I'm thinking that SeHee's dad's jaw will just drop upon meeting JiHo and hearing that she's his fiancée. After all the screaming, screeching and threats, he suddenly comes with not a date but a fiancée. LOL, what just happened there???? He probably doesn't care much about her background, just as long as she's female, has a working womb that can give birth to a son and this is actually for real .

HJ had another dream of JC buying a ring and practicing for proposal? HJ wakes up happy.
HJ, her mom, SW JC and WT ate breakfast together.
HJ got blushed while looking at JC.
Mom asks HJ about her face's redness. HJ said nothing.
Mom asks WT if he like someone WT said yes, she asks if it's HJ, WT said no.
JC seemed happy.
LOL. JaeChan was telling WooTak to tell the truth and only the absolute truth at the interrogation later and Mom (I think it was mom) who asked if prosecutors are living, breathing lie-detectors. Ha, Lil' Bro complains that JaeChan has a special nose for lies and excuses and Mom starts testing Cop and Lie Detector.
But when Mom asks if the person WooTak likes is HongJoo, WooTak lies and JaeChan knows he lied but doesn't give him away. He wasn't happy............ just... well, he understands.

YooBum: This investigation... obviously is a weak investigation.
YooBum: Could it be that the person called Han WooTak has the evidence?
Detective Choi: Ah, Lawyer Lee!
JaeChan: Did something happen? Why are you being like this?!
WooTak: Try describing to me what the person who stabbed JaeChan-ssi looked like.
HongJoo: He was in All-Black and [had something] too.
Detective Choi: Ah, how can we find it here?! Aiyoo!
JaeChan: Like how we find narcotics in a bag of flour, well.
Someone: You see these kids right?
HongJoo: In my dream... you were... hurt... a lot.
JaeChan: Don't worry, what happened in your dream will definitely not come true.

Ah, HongJoo had threatened JaeChan to prove to the world that HaKyeong was the murderer. It wasn't even an encouragement but a threat and she purposely added, "if you don't, I'll be really disappointed."
Too bad JaeChan is a stubborn prick that sticks to his principles because he tells HongJoo aftr all his investigations that he like her... but he won't mess with another person's life and scapegoat them just because of that. So cool, so sweet.

Aiyoooo.... WHY ARE THEY ALL GETTING STABBED!!!!!!
Knives are for cutting vegetables and the like, not for stabbing people you know!
Detective Choi is like a wise owl to rookie JaeChan. JaeChan understood where WooTak was coming from (but he doesn't believe nor not believe that HaKyeong is the murderer) after hearing his account but he knows that his seniors won't even entertain the idea if he threw out the possibility that Do HaKyeong is NOT the murderer. So upon Detective Choi's advice to trust his seniors, he brought in WooTak and had all his seniors sit behind the mirror to watch their proceedings. With WooTak offering rebuttals to all of JaeChan's questions (which he'd predicted would be their objections), the seniors finally realised what JaeChan was trying to say to them and so Chief decided in the end to let HaKyeong go, even though his superiors will "kill" him.
YooBum is such a bum. How dare he try and use HongJoo to sway public opinion to his side against HaKyeong with past information that is not related to this case. But HongJoo learnt from her argument with young JaeChan that to judge too early based on just assumptions and raw emotions is wrong. And her senior is so cool too, just accepting when she said she can't use the info from YooBum.

Eeeps!!! I kinda freaked a little when he said in his interview that he didn't eat for two days to portray the haggardness of a disaster stricken person. EAT!!! EATING IS A BASIC NECESSITY!!! Haggardness can be made with make up! Make up is wonderful!!
All these passionate actors have just one problem - they go to the extreme, neglecting their health. Poster boy is Kim MyungMin, who didn't eat (almost the whole filming period) for "closer to heaven" where he played a terminal patient. His wife must have thanked the gods he dropped out of that movie where a guy dies while climbing everest.
I just want their managers, though I know they can be even busier than their celebrity charges, to force feed these people. Eish!! I want a live human body on screen, not a corpse! There should be a dedicated job to force feed him his 3 meals a day.
Is Kim AhJoong very free now? *just wondering*

the repairman, do you know what he is to WT? a friend?
Nope. Dunno at all.
Sorry, I thought you asked about Hoobae. Repairman was WooTak's former roommate. And apparently they shared the house WooTak's living in now. WooTak didn't change the password (WooTak ah!) which is how he could invite himself in and Robin remembers repairman too.

i missed on this part
at the breakfast/dinner table WT announces that he is going home and they turn to him in unison, HJ worried while JC is very happy making HJ look at him and he acted normal
WT gave some sort of a note to HJ omma
- [ Listing the side dishes that he wants, lol.]
JC and HJ accompanied WT home and helped him put things in order, HJ putting the food inside the fridge noticing how empty it was
WT walked with them to the elevator and it seemed he told them about the scene at the park where HJ used JC's tie to wipe her tears.
- [He saw that and told HongJoo not to cry in her sleep and not to be guilty anymore. And they realised that his "lend me your home stunt" was to console them.]
WooTak this boy...

it seems to me that he might be the son of that police who is the hoobae of JC's dad, the one who advised JC which could mean, if I am correct that the rogue soldier is his uncle... possibilities... that would complete the connection between them.
I have no idea at all.
If he's the son of the hoobae of JaeChan's father (what a mouthful), then did he lose touch with his father? Or is he telling his father where JaeChan is? Because JaeChan just got another packet of money from that Hoobae even though they'd moved and never told him their new address.
But he says that he's the only son in three generations in his family and when a persimmon fell on his head his parents went berserk and cut down all the persimmon trees in the area, lol. He said that while trying to edge in an invite to HongJoo's house so I don't know how truthful that is, heh.
Aw. Hoobae Uncle was nice. Dad found out about JaeChan manipulating his grades and trashed all his report cards right in his face so JaeChan went out to cry. Hoobae found him and consoled him, telling him that there's still a lot of time with his dad in the future, so he could just try for real this time and show his dad. "Cry for a short time, remember forever" [not literal translation] is something that Hoobae Uncle told JaeChan which is what JaeChan is telling HongJoo now.
Sad thing that his idiotic brother killed JaeChan's dad, which is why JaeChan was screaming at Hoobae Uncle, demanding to know that "a lot of time" he was talking about when there's none at all anymore.

Head prosecutor hanging some calligraphy at the wall
his prosecutors are watching by and then he asked them and the lady prosecutor tells something about his sunbae
Outside of the office, lady prosecutor and sunbae are quarelling i guess about the case and staff looks at them
Hehehehehehe, the calligraphy was, "Your mistake, My fault". He blames himself for leaving the case to them which resulted in letting Chef the killer go and the sunbaes all take turns to take the blame... but HeeMin is resolute that it's all the sunbae-s' fault, not her's at all.
Which is why Prosecutor Lee and her were quarreling outside.
But when Prosecutor Lee sees her crying, he realises that she was just putting up a front and leaves her alone to cry, even barring others from entering the room she's in.

Why do the people on this show like to demand that other people make them innocent... Why don't you just be innocent and no commit crimes...
WooTak has a secret, something that has to be kept from the police. But what?

[107,-4] But you and Kim NamGil match fantastically though.
[110, -8] From watching Kim NamGil on Life's Bar, he seems to be someone who's earnest, cute to people older than him and thinks a lot about acting. Even in reality, you two seem to match. ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Knife-needle couple, can't you become a reality? ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
[35,-1] Has it only been 13 years? When we first met we were just old friends. That means that that movie I watched for the first time... it's been 13 years ago?
[32,-1] She's definitely a cool woman. I'm not a fan but I'll cheer for you. Hwaiting!
[24,0] She really matches (in acting) with Actor Kim NamGil! Actress Kim AhJoong, whether it's acting or love, I'm cheering you on~

I suddenly remember one WGM acting couple (Oh Min Suk & Kang Ye Won) that really looks like a husband and wife in that show and the staff also feels that both of them do have feeling towards each other (staff even give a ticket to hawaii for both of them to go after the end of their shooting). Both of them agreed (on camera) to determine their feelings after the shooting ends cause they need to know either they love each other because of filming or it is their true feelings (I assume that is how most romantic drama couple do if they actually fall in love while filming). They still followed each other ig and like each other post. And both of them followed most of their WGM fandom till now and even like their fandom posts. But still their true feelings were left mystery. Well, OMS seems too busy with his schedule and KYW once said that she needs someone that can always be there for her. I still ship them till now and hope the best for them.
Right?!
I was following that couple too and I actually didn't even need any confirmation whether they're dating or not. I'm not that interested in other people's lives. Their lives, they decide. But then about 6 months after the end of their "marriage", Oh MinSeok went on a radio show and stated that they're just friends (which is totally cool) and they're not dating because too many people want them to date and I'm like... ಠ.ಠ... boy... why you letting people's attention rule your love life... If you like her, you ask her to go steady. If you don't like her that way, then fine. But why bother with people's expectations?!??!?!? They can handle their own feelings! YOU'RE 37 BOY! Even if you date and breakup so what?! You think we'll throw you in a vat of boiling oil????? I was so angry that I wished YeWon would find another man, lol. (I don't think YeWon needs someone who's always, 24/7, 365 days a year always there by her side... she seems very independent and adventurous...)
Anyway, *cough cough*. I hope the best for NamGil and AhJoong.
Couple crush, ppoomm ppoom!
Edit: Oh no! First post of a new page and not even about Nam-Joong! Aaaak! *hides*

[Drama 2017] Because This Is My First Life 이번 생은 처음이라
in k-dramas & movies
Posted
She did overstep her boundaries, I agree with you. But, she has a right to her feelings and it is okay for her to be angry or mad - she has that right. The thing is, SeHee is also right for stating the truth, but when one says it so bluntly, and ends up hurting the ego of the other person, then he/she has hurt someone and he/she'll have to handle the consequences of that - which JiHo decided was receiving her petty revenge and doling out that famous eye-for-an-eye style wall of "don't enter my world" that actually won't hurt SeHee if he doesn't care (which, again, he isn't supposed to).
I think we disagree on whether JiHo is allowed to omit the the statement that she's not married mainly because for you, this fake marriage means that JiHo and SeHee has to pander to the agreement entirely for the sake of friends and family in all aspects, meaning that she even has to tell strangers that they're married while for me, they only have to be careful when with friends and family. If JiHo can date BokNam secretly, such that her friends and family have no idea, such that the sanctity of their "marriage" remains unproblematic and no one comes to their door demanding answers and turning their lives upside down, then, I have no problem with it. They went ahead with the marriage for a roof over their heads and peace and quiet. If those two points are kept, what's the problem? Why do you have to tell a stranger that you're (fake) married?
Where is she supposed to eat then... they share the house... Do you really mean for her to be holed up in her room all day all night?? Just because he's not eating, she has to eat her own food in her own room? She does pay for rent, to share the house...
Why does JiHo have to give SeHee time? She doesn't have to give him anything like he doesn't have to give her anything. Why can't she feel hurt at something at hurt her? Why can't she have petty revenge? They're their own persons anyway, SeHee made that abundantly clear.
