I know he is just acting his part but still I would have enjoyed the series more had it been toned down. Anyway I watched this because of my crush, Park Min-young. The role was made for her and I could not imagine any other actress doing the part.


    this series was based on a webtoon of the same name and LYJ’s personality is based on that as well.

    Thanks for the replies. Was about to order the dvd in yesasia but I changed my mind since it doesn’t have the freebies i want. So disappointed with myself now :bawling:

    Idk if its just me but i felt a bit of an awkward vibe in the DVD commentaries, like both of them spoke a lot and looked at the other cast members/directors often but they did not look at each other much. I think they are more guarded since this was filmed shortly after the dating rumors but as a PPC shipper, I still feel sad. PMY is particularly hard to read - I can't tell at all from her expressions if she likes him or not :( Sometimes when he teased her, she looked a bit exasperated though I would hope she's just acting haha. BUT I would have to say PSJ's behavior during the commentaries makes me pretty sure he at least has some interest in her (he would flinch a lot and like when he realizes he's looking at her, he would quickly turn away like "omg cannot look at her" LOL!)

     

    Body language wise though, PMY actually sat very close to PSJ in the group commentary (she was in between him and Chan Sung) and i think i saw PMY playfully hit PSJ a few times, once even under the table (if I interpreted correctly) :D 

     

    It was cute how the cast seems to get along so well. Everyone seems to love the Secretary Yang actor and would cheer non-stop when his scenes (esp those with Hwang Bo Ra) come up :D. I also like how everyone became really quiet during YJ's crying scene with the parents - PSJ himself looked like he was holding back tears when watching.

     

    Wish I can understand Korean though :( I found subtitles on youtube for the couple commentary but it's cut :(

     

    But anyway hello to all of you! And hopefully we get the PPC dating/wedding announcement sooner rather than later hehe

     

     

    I was wondering where did you watch the DVD commentary? I am looking for it for a long time.

    Just watched the last 2 episodes. I laughed, I cried and laughed again and then cried again. This drama stirred my emotions very deeply and I loved it!

     

    SG & SJ - i love that they balanced out each other. SG is very good in giving advice to people and he also is vert patient and understanding to SJ. Because of her family background, she grew up to be a very strong woman even though she has insecurities. They’re perfect for each other.

     

    WS & HR - even though they’re been together longer than the other 2 couples, they’re still very immature. Probably they grew up together (in a sense) and their life revolve around each other. Good that they broke up so they have space and reevaluate their life and relationship. I actually understand what HR is going thru bec i had the same problem with my bf (we’ve been together for almost 7 yrs. i keep pressuring him to marry me bec im already in my 30s lol) i love how WS & HR realize that they still love each other. 

     

    SH & JH - no words can describe how i love this couple. They’re now in my top 5 fave drama couples of all time. They made me cry and laugh at the same time. 

     

    Overall this drama is very well written. It depicts the relationship modern world very well. I LOVE LOVE THIS DRAMA!!! :)

    They're not willing to do it because it didnt get high ratings in Korea. That sucks! Im sure the actors are willing to do it for the fans!

    I just finished watching ep 19 & 20 after 2 weeks of hesitation. I cried alot, no...I actually bawled like a child. It was the most heartbreaking last 2 episodes. Why why cant they have a happy ending. Actually no one had a happy ending starting with King Taejo to Lady Oh to Lady Hae to Eun and SD, to Chae Ryung to Woo Hee to Baek Ah, and lastly until the very end to our OTP So and Soo. 

    What can I say to the ending? I wished they had given us the ending that we want..like what IU posted that someone gave her a handkerchief and it turned out to be the reincarnation of So and So will smile at her then bam the end. Ill be okay with that, I mean was it to much to ask? 

    Some of you will wonder why only now that I watched the last 2 eps. Honestly, I don't want to let go of this drama. I'm also waiting for a news that a special will be aired but after 14 days and still no news I had given up hope. Ill just wait for the DVD and hope for the best that it will feature the alternate ending that we want. 

    Thank you to everyone that I met here and shared the good , the bad, ups and downs while supporting this heartbreaking drama. Thanks also to @liddi and @ruizaio for the subs and creating a group to share it to everyone who wants it. Thank you to the people who shared news and still sharing it even though the drama is finished.

    I will still hang out here and at the shippers thread to give my support! However; I hope to see you in another thread as well! 

    My withdrawal syndrome starts now...
