  1.  I get a conclusion that both of  their memory can't be trusted. Sang woon remembers that Hwal is the one who killed everyone on the scene 1000 years ago  but on the preview Hwal said that on his dream, Sang woon is the one who standing around so many corpses. I feel that the actual scene will be different.

Dang...Today ET acted like He has one love side toward Hwal :w00t:

The way how He kept begging Hwal to not leave him LOL

At this rate, DY,SH, shaman lady become annoying. They whine to go back to old house without thinking about the consequence. Next episode They will be hostages and Hwal needs to save them.

Interesting point that ET said Hwal has one sided love toward Sang woon 1000 years ago and decided to save Her like  today. What if the villagers tried to harm Sang Woon so Hwal killed all of them.

  2. @Kathia I think Hwal's reincarnation should not be hunted yet by the monsters on the 400 years gap period. The monsters started to take revenge after they were killed.

new video still about 1000 years ago.

On ep 11 when Sang woon asked what Hwal wanted to say to DY....why She seems to be startled after hearing it? She was awkward & in a little bit teary..Anyone can enlighten me?

FINALLY I WATCHED EP 11 WITH SUBTITLES...BY TELLING HIM HE BECOME MORE IMPORTANT THAN HER REVENGE IS TELLING HIM I LOVE YOU...I HOPE HE'LL BE ABLE TO TELL HIS SON I LOVE YOU SOME DAY...WHAT WILL THEY DO WITH THEIR FEELINGS?

    I AGREE...IS A LIAR...HE WAS HUMAN 1000 YEARS AGO AND HWAL WAS A BULGASAL...

I think what you guys said that ET used Hwal & Sang Un to against one another in the past is true.

I think there are only 2 possibilities for the ending:

    1. ET & Hwal really kill one another like today episode so both of them will vanish

    2. They need to make ET stabs Sang Un with the blade so Sang Un will become burgasal again and ET is back to be human. I think the blade used will be the key. I saw one long blade on Hwal's room when Sang Un went to his room and saw the portrait. Don't know if it's same or not.

I am really curious why the butcher lady young version doesn't allow Siho to see the past. Is it because She is afraid SiHo knows her own past life or another unexpected reason. I still think the shaman in the past is weird.

Did the writers trying to pair the lady  & ex-detective on tonight episode?

  4. Wow..I need to watched several times on the part where ET spilled everything when fighting with Hwal because I couldn't 'chew' what He said properly :sweatingbullets:

If 1000 years ago Hwal asked ET to make him become bulgasal. What is the reason He wanted tobe bulgasal?

Bulgasal is in a pair  but We see that 1000 years ago ET is also a human then beside Sang Woon, who is the other original one then? I think there should be another person, neither Hwal nor ET.

ET said that the lady bulgasal hates Hwal but this is contradict with How the lady bulgasal saved him when Hwal was young. Beside the fact Bulgasals need to stab each other heart, I don't know whether the rest what ET said is a truth or another narrative that He builds to benefit him

  5. @mysticmango Interesting point about the light.

It's also what I think when seeing Hwal with white T-shirt in the preview. I've seen on some dramas, the actor/actress will have a new hair cut or new fashion to indicate the new chapter on his/her life. We need to see if He will wear  dark T-shirt again after this to see if it's just coincidence or not. It will be nice if He also throws that blazer. I am sick seeing him wear it on almost each episodes. :P

Anyway, I like the blue Shirt that Sang Woon wore on above screenshot.

  6. Regardless previous life relationship, Doesn't it obvious that SiHo not have any feeling toward Hwal on current time? She addresses him as "Ajussi" which kind giving hint about it. We also don't see any scenes which giving clue that She has affection toward him. On relationship, it needs mutual feeling from both of sides to make it work. Just saying..

Now talking about the preview, there will be a new revelation which If we look at SU's response it's not a good one about Hwal. Hwal probably did something bad on his previous life but if it's the case I wonder why The lady bulgasal still protected him when Hwal was young? That's kind contradict. It also raises a question  whether it's just a misunderstanding between both sides. Probably ET  has contribution in making the misunderstanding?

  7. New still video for ep 10

    https://www.instagram.com/p/CYxEeq3JM8_/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

    SiHo: who are you?
ET: Hello, I am a friend of the owner of this house
SiHo: What...Friend? but He is not at home now
ET: How can....but It's okay .Today I'm here to meet Sang Woon anyway

*Note: translation may not be super accurate.

Siho doesn't know Eul Tae so He is not the possibility baby's father like what We are afraid for :w00t:

So only Ex-detective's junior and probably any new cameo left. The ex-detective junior is not handsome but as the quote says: Handsome/pretty is relative....

I want to correct my theory that I said a long time ago about ET is the one who killed Hwal's family because He is the only one who has the capability to make the victims have nosebleed. I re-watched ep -7 and just realized Hwal killed the fire monster in the same way.

Anyway the conversation between Hwal & the butcher lady is hilarious.

butcher lady: Actually, we have one more person moping around here, Go check on him
Bullssi ajussi: What do u mean?
Butcher lady: I'm talking about Do-yoon. He won't come out of his room. He won't even eat
Bullssi ajussi: Leave him be. He's not a little kid.
Butcher lady: It worries me when people skip meals. How can I let him be? Go & find out
what happened to him. You're the only guy here. It might be a girl problem. Go listen to his troubles.
Bullssi ajussi: Sure. I'm the perfect man for the job. I've lived alone for the past 600 years

I do agree he hated his father, but I don't agree he was possessed. Agree to disagree there. I do think there is a good chance Hwal was the brother, especially since Hwal ended up as the father's beloved "son" in another life, but maybe not considering the painting.

The possibility is indeed there because so far We only see young Hwal, not the teenage one. And also the actress who acted as the mother of Eul Tae's brother seems tobe the same woman who acted as the 'suicide' detective & hwal's mother cmiiw (I checked the woman detective face on asian wiki and it seems to be same person).

When Eul Tae is killing his brother, I think the lady bulgasal was on the scene to protect his brother but it's too late. Probably She always guard Hwal on all his reincarnation cycle? So the relation ship between the lady bulgasal & Hwal non happened on his previous life before born as Hwal but previous previous previous....previous life?

I'm also supporting their romance! Lol. But man the slow burn is burning so slow. I also still believe these two are connected far longer than they think and I hope they reveal their backstory soon. I'm guessing starcrossed lovers or whatever where Hwal betrayed her hence her putting the bulgasal curse on him.

I always like slow burn romance in drama . Somehow it makes me more appreciate with any small interactions the ML-FL have. Kissing almost on each episodes? that's too boring.

I just got through watching the episode and I didn't see him say he was jealous of his brother or anything like that. I can go back and watch it,  but that is not what I think play it out on my television screen. Just like I knew blonde was that boys kid and everybody was denying it on this thread, is the way do the same Instinct I have about her. I think that's the most logical conclusion which draws the viewers in and also causes Hwal to the let his guard down eventually for the same thing to happen again 600 years ago. When her memory comes back the good girl act is going out the window. Mark me.

He eavesdropped his Father when talking to his subordinate about How He will just bring his other son since Eul Tae was always sick. The father also boasted a lot his other son that's why Eul tae became jealous and next it's shown that He killed his brother.

Almost everyone on this thread are sure that the blonde kid is A-chan. It' must be another thread you are referring.:o

Yeah. I think this is all gaslighting and red herrings from the writer because either the writer still doesn't know where he or she wants to go so is making it up as it goes along. If the writer is not making up as it goes along, I believe that Lady Bulgasal is Everything evil that is being claimed.

I think this drama will be disappointing in the end just like Alice was because I really think the writer is making it up as he's going along even if this was pre-taped.

Didn't Lady Bulgasal us all put him under a spell which caused him to kill his own brother?

Did u watch it without sub? Eul Tae killed his brother and there were 2 witnesses that saw it, that's why he was going to killed these 2 witnesses but the lady bulgasal prevented it.

@RobinM I think the still is for tomorrow when She is hiding in a room. However from what I observe, the still usually is not that accurate or kind exaggerate from the actual scene.

  11. Because on this Saturday night, there will be friendly football match South Korea vs Iceland, according tvN twitter:

    Spoiler

Bulgasal will be aired on 22.10 KST instead of 21.10 KST. Meanwhile Bad&Crazy which is on 22.10 slot will not be aired

No one got heart attack, right?!

@angelbeast90 The writers will not make each persons in the house to remember their previous life. Most of them are normal human on present time after all. However with his personality, if later he gets the information about Hwal, I think He will believe it. Moreover, He doesn't have parents so He probably will feel grateful.

  12. @ninaanin it's already shown on ep 1 as a dream when Hwal was sleeping inside the tent. I also talked about the possibility there's a twin on Goryeo era on earlier pages. However  When I re-watched it again , it seems the person the lady bulgasal stabbed is Hwal on his previous life. On that scene, Hwal has his back on camera and the hair is also short. The second scene is indeed confusing because The lady seems to has different face area that covered with blood. For sure the lady stabbed Hwal's palm that's why when He woke up, He immediately looked at the scar on his hand.

There's still possibility that there's also twins because of the second scene but then It will contradict with the fact that Sang Yeon doesn't have Hwal's soul on present life. Anyway..in the beginning of ep 1, there's a future scene where Hwal meets SU on a bridge(?). She wears black dress with green vest. She looks at Hwal with a little bit teary eyes, same vibe which usually shown by the red lady bulgasal.  I think SU already remember things from the past on this point.

  13. Guys...On ep 8 when the butcher lady was possessed ..Dong Yoon said to the ex detective that the butcher lady told them  All the people in the house would die by bleeding from their nose. On ep 7 When Dan Sol was reading the butcher lady's past ..The young butcher lady asked Dan Sol whether She is trying to read her soul memories and asked her to take away the memory because She is tormented. After that, out of no where, Dan sol has nosebleed. Is this just a coincidence? What if the person who lost the memory She meant when she was possessed is her own self? and Why she is tormented with her memories?

More over, Her moves on Goryeo era is suspicious for me. She gives me provocateur vibe.

For sure..whether it's Hwal or the butcher lady, The person supposed to have power like Ok Eul Tae which can kill by making the victim has nosebleed.

@Bleu Winter I am not referring you but ninaanin :D I think Sang un in korean character is typed as  상운 (sang- un but can be pronounced as sang woon, same like the male lead name 이진욱(i-jin-uk) can be pronounced as Lee jin wook) so netflix translation is not wrong. However ninaanin referred the twins as SW & SU which should be SY & SW/SU cmiiw.

1 hour ago, Bleu Winter said:

Thanks for the correction. I've been using Netflix translated name instead. I was referring to Sang Un (the one who was born without memory, without the scar but with Hwal's soul)

Hopefully she has her own soul that is dormant waiting for the right time to unleash her powers and memories.

Awesome idea. We can have happy ending if it's the case. Hwal can get back her own soul and live as a human. Not sure if the writers are smart enough to think this option.

  14. @ninaanin upss...yes it's me :phew:

    Spoiler

I need to be brutal when commenting there LOL because there're some same toxic commenters who are not satisfied with the plot and the OTP. They surely have the option to leave the show but nope.....they still watch until now and leave hateful comments on each episodes about  the romance scenes & the female lead character.

I think that the idea of two souls in one body is really good. This should be also possible, more possible than the possibilities that two bodies share one soul. ;)

This is why I keep thinking that SW and SU, at the end of the day, are two different beings.

Two souls in one body theory really reminds me with Mr Queen!

I think you are typo when referring the twins as SW & SU. Their Name are Sang Yeon & Sang Un.

    - They're really keeping the identity of Si Ho's baby daddy a secret, huh? We might be surprised if it turns out to be Detective Ham (Hwal's subordinate in his past life).:joy:
    .......
    - My sister think the person with no memory actually refers to Hwal. Sang Woon is just the red herring.

Actually Detective Ham as the father once passed into my mind Haha but It's depicted as handsome man so maybe it's not him.

Gong Yoo is too old to be Dan Sol's boyfriend haha @PororoQueen

I think the theory about Hwal is the one who actually lost the memory seems legit. On her 7 last previous life, Sang Un doesn't loose her memory but still ..She is weak & easily killed. I don't see there will be any difference when She regains her memory in the present life. On the other hand, I am curious what kind of person Hwal is in the past that everyone on that home will be killed if He regains the memory. Doesn't it mean He is a bad guy then? but if He is evil, the lady bulgasal would have not saved  young Hwal.

  15. @andy78 I think She has already fallen for him but She is not conscious yet.

I remember that You pointed out Hwal's harsh words when They spent a night in a lodging and Sang Un having a bad dream. My opinion about that is deep inside his heart, Hwal knows that it will be difficult for him to get revenge towards Sang Un that's why He is satisfied to know that She is also tormented even thought it's merely on a trivial thing (having bad dream).

For tonight episode, When He said harsh word again after coming home, He is just having a bad day and  Sang Un presence just  reminded him again that all the bad things happened to his life is because of Sang Un. We need to take a look from Hwal's perspective since He is still on his own theory that Sang Un is the villain.

Anyway...I suddenly remember about how Hwal's son was born blinded & his daughter died. I don't think the lady bulgasal is too evil enough to make the curse affects his children so I am curious why they were born like that. Is it just a natural disease which not known yet on that era or it's indeed because of the curse. If I am not wrong @Bleu Winter pointed out on earlier page that A-chan probably having tumor on his brain.

I think next time We will get a handsome well known actor to cameo as Dan Sol's boyfriend.
