    He loved her but now we know that the two of them were deeply in love. They never stopped loving each other even when they thought that the other was with someone else. And that's one of the most significant thing in this drama, than when you love someone purely, you can endure all the circumstances and maintain you hope that you will see this person again. If not, you can remember the other person through all the gift or thing that you have. This book contains much of what she feels. His book was a treasure for her because he was always present and an incentive in her studies if she swooned. His inscription in the book motivates her to not give up.  She kept it with her because she had him in mind.

    And I said before, she had to know more of him than he knows more of her because he was a neurosurgeon internationally renowned and a professor with a lot of papers and investigations. Who knows if he gave a lecture and she attended. O course, this is a speculation, but it could be possible because they were in the same professional field. We will know about this 13 years only if the writers and the director wants. :)

    Talking about the love relationships of JH... The IJ relationship was a real one. We don't know how deep was but he tried, like he said in that scene from the past. Perhaps we never know... But we know the result... And in 13 years, a grown healthy man without a relationship is too hard to believe... He was single and wasn't a monk, so his histories thought nothing important, he has had. That doesn't mean that he stop loving HJ; that's another thing. Remember that he saw her go with SC, so he would try to continue with his life but his feelings for HJ were stronger. This love thing is so complicated...:D

PSH has been called the Queen of Chemistry and to a great extent, this may be due to her warm and friendly personality which puts her co-stars at ease with her. But I think KRW's ability to "lose himself in the moment" and become Ji Hong helped PSH lose herself in Hye Jung's character as well. That's why their scenes together are so genuine. In that moment, they were truly in love as Ji Hong and Hye Jung. :)

    @akhenaten, agree with you. She's a good actress but he's a really good actor too and with a lot of experience. So, he can challenge her and make the best of her. He can lead her. I know that she admires him; so for her, his advice and recommendations are important. So, because both respect the other and works in a sincere a special way, have become a winning couple. I love this pairing... They're amazing actors. :heart:

    and sorry for missing the translation party... sad part about living on the other side of the world you're usually sleeping when all the good stuff comes out (bts, previews etc) lmao

    Agree. We will only have 'light' scenes  because this is open TV, not cable tv or a movie. In the beginning, for me was a shock when I watched some movies with actors that I watched in dramas and the nudity or the sex scenes were high volt. I saw Oh Ji Oh naked. I only can said: OOOHHH :o:D And when I saw a sex scene between Kim Sun Ah and Goo Yoo, for me was like WHAAAAAATTTT? :flushed: After that, nothing was the same. :D Seriously, i was impressed. So, forget something more 'hot' that we have had because they use different rules for dramas; in open TV (super light), cable tv (in between, but not too strong) and movies (hardcore). So, enjoy all the skinship that they will have... Maybe if they have a movie, we could see more than that... :rolleyes::D

    then we have the OTP atmosphere where while they were shy and sometimes a little awkward when things got a little too steamy rofl :D but still they projected the warm ambience just by looking at them :) somehow that is a major draw to me....and with everything in the roll the PD had honestly managed to pull in one of the best ambience of warmth in Korean Drama that I had come across....where they didnt wait till the very last moment to put the OTP together and how the forgiving process is started off but slow in progress due to HyeJung headstrong attitude where she need to come to terms with her dad before she can really forgive him......and also while they project that HyeJung is a headstrong person but she is actually pretty easy to get along as she had her dislikes and like in a very clear lines where we can see how she treated both MH and Dr. Kim separately.... :)

    anyway to draw my rambling to a close i always find that 'When 2 person are comfortable in each other company sometimes you don't need conversation as being in each other company is enough'

     

    You're right. I focused my attention in the love couple thing but love has a lot of faces. And this drama shows the good side of them. Well, the most difficult is the father-daughter or family love, with HJ, SW, SH, as an example. But they present the way of healing. If we see, they have other people, known or unknown people who with their experiences and lives will show how they can overcome all this situation. I really love this drama because it focuses on how to heal, how to move forward, how to overcome and endure to live better an in peace with everyone and oneself. And our OTP, that's another thing, is class apart. :wub:

    Hi!  You amaze me! :o I have more than 20 pages to read; so sorry if I can't read all your posts and comments.:( The Olympics is here and I'm a huge fan. So, these last few days I have been busy watching the Olympics and I lost the track here. I was here yesterday just a moment and I watched the preview of the next episode but was a regular one. Like always, they didn't give us much information about our OTP. I hope the preview of episode 16 will be better for us. Will see... So, I need to go back to read.... I hope I finish before tomorrow's episode. :D

    This is one of the reason why I love this drama. Possibly they don't say all the time that they love, but their actions talk about all that love they have. They express their love with small gestures like glances, stares, smiles, huges, and when talking, when they walk holding hands, and so on... Love isn't only kisses and passion. Love is a lot of more a physical act; it's comfort, a heaven for the soul. It's home. That's what they communicate to me. Tha's why I love the JH-HJ couple. In other dramas you see how the main lead expresses his love and in occasions is rude. So, here and in DOS, they express their love in the everyday in the most gentle ways, and I like it because true love is that. :heart:

    Ok. I need to say that. This thread, and this forum is for ENTERTAINMENT ONLY! This is for fun! I don't know why people take so serious all that others write here. It's a drama thread. It's about the storyline, it's about the main couple, is about the others storylines. We can write about what we think or we want about the roles and the actors. We all know that they have PRIVATE LIFES and they can do whatever they want to do and it's Ok because is their lives. So, please, have fun and let the other people have fun too. I loved the good atmosphere here, but lately, for me, it's not more fun. :huh:

    Among others situations and problems, the most important will be the 'administration battle'. Apparently the 'new administration' is so corrupt. The grandfather and the father are bad seeds. It's obvious that the real physician (love to save people, not money)  and good one was Dr. Hong and SW's grandfather was far behind him. They didn't play fair with JH's dad, much less will do with him. I was thinking about how the writers and the director will delivery that.  We have only six episodes for that...

I only ask because I was curious because one day I read that he has a GF and the other day that he doesn't and another that is yes and other thst is no and so on... So good for him if he has one or if not :D Is his personal life and he'll decide who will be his life partner. So, for me, from now on, he will have two GF, one real, and one in the dramaland...:lol:

    Some thoughts about episode 14

    • I'm loving YD more and more. His character is so refreshing, and funny. In the k-drama world, the second lead usually is a pain in the ___ :crazy:, but he's adorable.:wub: I was thinking about his pairing and I don't know why, but I think that will be SH. The scenes between SH and JD were fun but I didn't get the vibe of something that could end in a romantic relationship, contrary to SW and YK, which is fertile ground for a romantic relationship, especially after the hug. In addition that YD made it clear to SW that he sees her like a friend. So, I bet to the pairing of YD and SH. The two of them are so similar. In the other hand, I think that with IJ and PR, the couple is cooking. They're more that a friends, but they aren't aware of that. Well see...
    • About JH and HJ. I love this relationship. He knows her very well. He's so confident about her and her love. That's why he doesn't have any problem with YD. He let her do because he knows that if he push her, he lost. He is carrying and wait for her to set the pace. So, in the bedroom scene he made it clear what he wants, now she will decide when. My dearest patients, I think that we'll soon have the most awaited bed scene because the relationship has matured. They are in love and they are adults. "The thing" between them will be a natural thing to happen. I love how the director has develop their relationship.
    • JH will fight his father fight. One thing I love about him is that he doesn't hide and speak clearly. He's intelligent and smart. When he talked with SW's father he reminded that half of the board were personal friends of his father. So, I see that will be a battle between them. And of course, JH will win. I think that Dr. Kim will be the next president.
    • Nam Goong Min is an excellent actor. This is the most touching story. It could be difficult for a family without money to paid for health care. That's why I said that the healthcare need to be universal an free. Of course, for a lot of people is a business. That's one of the principal themes in this drama, health vs. money and profits. Nam Goong Min has done an excellent personification that has brought us to tears. When he makes a bad character, he is really bad (good acting), but when he's good is so good. And when he's romantic... Do you watched 'I need Romance 3'? He's a good kisser too! I had the second main lead syndrome with him. :wub:

    OMG! :o Poor YD! JH establishing his territory. :wub: But JH didn't need to say anything because the scene talk without doubt. YD sees them in his house, at that time and like stuck with glue, was more than obvious and understandable that they are dating... :D:D
