You mean it's a similar healing drama? The character is quite different though, and the atmosphere as well. In what way does he remind you of Tell Me Your Wish? Too much yelling is actually phenomenon that happens a lot in kdramas, mostly I tend to blend it out, unless it's excessive.

I think she said this in Episode 2, I hadn't watched that yet. She chose her pride over her career, but her career is part of her pride, too. That's what she built the past 15 years... I guess she needed a reality check. It was realistic that she questioned herself and her treatment of the assistant - whether she caused the suicide attempt. If this series was more gray than standard, it would explore the assistant storyline more: Yeah we saw the assistant as a brat in episode 1, but what about the past 5 years? I do understand 5 years of her being treated as invisible can make anyone angry. Episode 2 delivers more soft feels .... JCW and the way he looks at her... Masterclass. We get two versions of the breakup, I assume the truth is in the middle, some sort of miscommunication. But you can see the yearning in his eyes. The epilogue broke my heart too, because he went to Seoul to support her in his way, even if nobody knows. I also find his two friends hilarious, and wonder whether they would be paired up with the other two "terrible sisters".

Loved the energy of the first episode, you could get a feel for these characters and I am curious of what happened - but you could see their differences even back in their childhood: one just looked at the other, the other never looked at the one. they had two different looks for the future. questions that i have, how come samdal desperately wanted to leave the island? she seems to have a nice, caring mum and dad - so no childhood trauma here. it's also nice that the niece keeps her granma up to date by phone. it was quite funny to see yong pil at his work as well. he reminds me a bit of JCW's character in Backstreet Rookie. Well-meaning, but not effective and not respected. bullying is a reason to get easily cancelled in Korea these days, but I wonder why Samdal didn't say anything in defence as clearly the assistant cooked up this story as the assistant is unhappy with her life. so she acted out and seduced her boss' cboyfriend, but the boss still didn't care about her....

there are 20 "official" christmas markets in my city, and a couple more that have themes or are events. they started opening them from last week on - i enjoy the lights and looking at the crafts, but never buy them, only food and drinks! i only need one and 2024 is going to be a good oppa year. lots of projects!!!

My Corner Currently I am on a self-improvement month. Trying to get back into working out. which i've done, a mix of HIIT and boxing, and it's really been a lot of fun. To be honest, I don't remember much of the year, just the last few months. I keep looking ahead, instead of reflecting. I'm hoping to achieve a work goal, but will not know until next year if it pans out. In the meanwhile I try to learn more skills - but also I hope to find a new hobby. Any suggestions? I also want to move to a different flat as mine is nice enough but north-east, so I barely get any sun in my living room, where I spend most of my waking time. How come? He lost his memory, and had to relearn everything. Maybe he is treating everything more lightly, and being more lighthearted, as his way of dealing with the trauma of not knowing who he is nor recognising his immediate family? His mind is protecting him from the abuse he got. Maybe his character used to be super serious as he was the oldest kid and felt responsibility for protecting his mum and younger brother, which is why he tried to earn money a lot. Once he got amnesia, he didn't feel such pressure anymore, but a different one, that of his identity loss.
