@jeeji, I am so glad you came back here and posted.   And thank you for starting this thread!:)

If you are not coming much more to Soompi, I will ask the moderators to allow me to take the thread.  I try to update it as much as I can, but it is not as easy, since I do not speak either Korean or Chinese.

@irilight  I'll be delighted to have someone like you to take the lead, I have no issues with that as I know you'll do an amazing job dear. I won't be in Soompi that much, but will try to stop by this thread and see your job and keep it up ;)

  2. Hello Everyone,

I know that i was away for long time but I got to see many updates on this page. Thank you so much @irilight for all the inputs you've done in my absence. All I want to say is that I have been doing this posts for some time and was having difficulties coping with them by myself and was hard to get new info on Oppa. Nowadays, I rarely get into soompi, so i'm not much active in posting new articles/posts. If you'd like to handle this thread I don't mind at all. You can ask the admins to assign you for it and I'd be glad to see the thread to be active once again. Thank you again and take care.

The project he’s considering is the MBC drama My Spring Days, which previously announced the possible castings of Sooyoung (Dating Agency Cyrano) and Kam Woo-sung (King Geunchogo). The warm human drama centers around a terminally ill woman who then receives a heart transplant and a new lease on life. The role Lee Jun-hyuk is considering is of a cardiothoracic surgeon, and conflict arises when his first love falls in love with his hyung

My Spring Days, which comes from the PD of I Miss You and the writer of Hero, will follow currently airing rom-com Fated To Love You on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It’ll premiere in September.

  4. @djappleblush - welcome to Unnie thread & thanks for sharing those pics of hers.

@lmhpsh, unfortunately, Soo Ae Unnie doesn't do any romantic comedy drama ones anymore. She is more into series drama and melodrama type style prefered to act in. If you want some suggestion, try to watch either 'Queen of Ambition' or 'A Thousand Days' Promise ' She was totally amazing and excellent performed in those dramas.

@TRAN, yes, Unnie we are seriously missing you so much. It is been more than a year now with now new realse or news from you. Pleas come back soon  :((  What do you mean arrogant, harsh comments?! When was that and where?  She is totally an innocent and kind person, how can they say such a thing about her?? Ignore those netizen who don't know that real artist just focusing on others who don't need attention and have horrible talent!! ~X(  Unnie is my no. 1 female Korean Actress regards of what others say, Im with her forever... Love Ya

  5. ^^ Is it 100% true? I mean this is the 2nd time Unnie won't be participating in the drama award ceremony as she previously didn't attend 2011 one when she did 'A Thousand Days' Promise'!! What is going on? Can't you Unnie attend only for one day and let us see your best dress, huh? Please :(

  6. SOO AE WEARS ACNE TO 'THE WAY HOME' VIP PREMIERE

South Korean actress, Soo Ae  attended the VIP premiere of 'The Way Home' held in Seoul, South Korea on December 7, 2013.
The actress wore a velocite ash grey shearling aviator jacket from Acne. Completing her look with a pair of grey blouse, white denim jeans and a matching pair of suede boots.

  7. @annieice, thanks for the updated pics you've shared of Unnie. I also agree with @cocomhe, those are not her true fashion signature!! Something is going on with her fashion sense. I mean those boots are okay but the tiny-short-mini skirt is a big NO. One thing that I really loved is her purse, it is a total match with her outfit :)

  8. @cocomhe,I only watched the first episode of the drama "2 Outs in 9 Inning ",  however I didn't like the comic/ funny side of Unnie :P . I do prefer her very much in a charismatic, strong and self-confident character. I don't know if I'll be able to see that drama or any other future projects of Unnie playing comic character, that is just not into her. Sorry Unnie ;)

  9. Actresses giving up wanting to look pretty

Actress Kim Seon-ah (top) plays a heroine role with bruises on her face in her latest movie "The Five". Soo-ae (middle) in her movie "The Flu" runs around with her face smeared with soot and blood. Jeon Do-yeon in "The Way Home - 2013" plays a role of a woman caught up in law and is dressed in shabby clothes. Korean actresses are performing with no makeup on, giving up wanting to look pretty.

  10. Five Fun Facts About Shin Se Kyung

Shin Se Kyung, who recently starred as the two-timing Mi Do in the drama "When A Man Loves," is considering the role of Heo Mi Na in the film "Tazza 2." If she takes it she will play Choi Seung Hyun's love interest.
Here are a few facts you may want to know about her.
1.The 23-year-old actress has been working for 15 years. For a long time Shin was known as the "Seo Taiji girl." She made her debut at age 8 as a mournful child in the K-pop icon's music video, "Take Five."
"The music video staff told me to cry so I just did," said Shin. "I guess I came across as quite mysterious. They really liked it."
For the next few years, she had a succession of small supporting roles until her role as a housemaid in the "High Kick" series attracted attention and led to bigger parts.
    2. She kissed Bi Rain in the film "R2B: Return To Base" but the scene was cut in post-production.
"There was a sweet kiss scene with Rain oppa, which we shot and finished," she said. "It was a great scene and I'm sad it was edited out."
    3. She got plenty of negative attention for her role in 'When A Man Loves." Her character was not supposed to be likeable but somehow viewers directed their anger at the actress and not the character.
"I couldn't understand her as a woman but I had to express her thoughts and embrace her," said Shin Se Kyung.
While she tried to distance herself from the criticism, it did make her nervous. Fortunately, the support of friends and coworkers helped her overcome her concerns.
"It wasn't just me, but it was everyone that worried about me receiving all of these insults," she said. "Since many people around me comforted me, I thought about how fortunate I was. Feeling loved really does feel great."
    4. Shin Se Kyung admits to being moody and, despite the fact that she's an actress, says that her face is easy to read.
"I'm shy sometimes and a tomboy in certain moods. My emotions fluctuate easily. People say that actors must never show their emotions up front, but everyone knows what I am feeling just by looking at my face."
    5. What does she do during her rare free time? She likes to perfect her cooking and baking skills by trying out new recipes.
"I was so happy to see my cookies," she said of her first successful baking experiment. "I feel so glad when people enjoy my food."
