YES!!! That is sooo true. I didn't really pay attention until you said it. But YES, whenever I watch a drama with all episodes out, I can connect & follow & relate to all the information and timeline....
Whenever it is a LIVE drama, and I'm waiting for episodes, I always forget what happened in the past couple episodes, and have to re-remind myself... and I STILL end up missing on all the subtleties ... and because of this, some things don't make sense. Only after I indulge myself in re-watching the series once it's complete (depending on my mood
) do I think --- "OHHHHHHHH, NOW IT MAKES SENSE WHY..."
Thanks for pointing this out. I feel in 2 months (LMAO) when I'm calmer and rewatch all my Soo-So scenes will I pick new things up.

I, for one, always have something against time warp dramas. If it it is not done correctly or with sharp points, it is easy to mess up the flow and rush every thing at the end. It is either gotta be really good or really bad for me.
I agree. The time warps were so many and at various stages, that you forget the characters had growth in between. They start and stop as if the people are exactly the same before & after.
If they had built up in far EARLIER episodes instead of waiting too long to develop So/Soo, it would have been better.
I just want to see the ending and hope they don't mess it up. This drama is my emotional drowning pool for the year LMAO...it went from happy go lucky in the first couple eps, to consistent death, to now isolation/longing of love...I need to watch Running Man to cheer myself up

Look, I'm not saying the drama is perfect, The major fault for me is the pacing. Wook-Soo should have been more clearly over by now so as not to confuse viewers. The fight for the throne should have happened sooner as well. The pace fits a novel better rather then a tv series as I've said before, but after all this is an adaptation of the novel. So we can't really fault the writer there. I think all the major downfalls of the drama lie squarely at the feet of the editing department. They've a lot to answer for.
As to what I quoted, your talking about the bathing scene where we were initially introduced to the Princes? It was gratuitous but not that major a deal. Again. this all boils down to taste and whether one can overlook the few mistakes in the grander scheme of the story that is being told.
I also don't put too much stock into what Korean fans think of this drama. Ever since Healer had low ratings there (but it was a GREAT drama and I recommend it to anyone)...I've completely lost faith in their views on ratings - especially when it comes to factoring in quality & depth of a NEW type of story.
I do agree with you on the pacing. Pacing & Character development fell through in the beginning, and only now are picking up. Editors, Director, whoever is responsible..... But I Still LOVE this drama LOL!
And I have to say, the soundtrack keeps me HOOKED!!!

As a long time shipper of other wgm couples, my advice is to brace yourself for the interviews this month. Put on ur protective gear cuz He is gonna DENY, DENY, and DENY till theres no 2morro lol he might even act like he has amnesia and doesnt remember anything he said or did on the show lol dont get discouraged guys, it all part of the SECRET plan remember? ;
example: OMG Yes yes yes. I can see your experience showing lol. Interviews and everything else it will all be deny deny deny. This is the nature of media with all Korean celebs/idols. If they are or even if they are not dating/with someone, they always answer vaguely or with a no. It's funny to see what tactics they use to avoid this question. So honestly take answers with a grain of salt and not so literal. Faith is what is most important.
ALSO be wise from where u get translated articles or interviews. Make sure to verify a source and it's translation. It does happen that some extreme fans of different beliefs than yours would blatantly lie or makeup information or translations. This has been my experience. Keep this mind. Verify sources, and don't rush to judgment

Like many of you, I thought I would be okay since I remind myself not too get too attached but who am I kidding? I do feel really sad and heartbroken. I will truly miss these two. For 9 months, my "alone time" or "me time" have been occupied by watching them or doing something related to them. I've enjoyed following their love story and their journey this whole time. While putting together the video, I realized that these two had so much fun together. They had done some great and memorable things which had brought them closer and possibly made them fall in love. All those smiles and laughters they shared will forever be in our memories and their hearts. If it's this hard for us to say goodbye to them, I'm sure it's even tougher for them to let go of each other. I hope that fate will remain kind and continue to help these two nurture their friendship and love for each other. I also pray that they stay happy and become more successful with their careers....(so that they will have enough money to feed all their future babies!

Same here, I've kept telling myself and training not to get too attached, however I still felt sadness at the sudden news. I distracted myself by skimming episodes of Fated To Love You lol. It worked for a while
And u are right, just think of how much harder it is on them! And now they don't have guaranteed time for each other that WGM provided.
In any case I still love them, and I am giving myself a 5 year period to check in on them and their relationship status (I want friendship and hopefully more) like I did with Yongseo (3 years I've passed with them lol). They will be in their 30s then and more established .

Maybe 1203 and 1303 are opposite of each other? And production crew stays in 1? Or maybe to keep privacy of neighbor they changed the number??? I have NO clue. I give up trying to figure out

I think it would really help if you also focus on WY's lips aside from turning the volume really high. "chum" is too short and after saying it, your lips are closed but WY's lips were parted like when you're saying the short e sound, OMO!!!! why did I forget my English 3 lessons? XD Anyway, saranghae seemed to fit his lip movement though, only that I hear a ch- sound rather than s- so what I actually heard was ch-aranghae, LOL XD
@crazymiss - LMAO u are right. I hear it now. That first "chum" turns into "ch-arangae" for me. Then he says the second chum. I'm still not convinced it is sarangae cause of the "ch" I heard, but oh well. I at least don't feel left out now. Thanks!

I don't know i'm crazy or what but actually i think 2young may be has change their house..the house in the recent ep is not the same one from ep29.
my evidence is..
1. their front neighbor house no before is 1203 but in recent ep is 1303.
2. their hanging photo in the sofa background did change the position if you compared with ep29.
3. their bed also not the same because i notice there are small mark on the back when wy lean on it in the recent ep while in ep29 it none.
sorry i don't have photo to prove my word because i don't know how to put one..
@cnsdlover49 - I checked. I think their neighbor's house number from ep29 is also 1303. The headboard in front of the bed is indeed a little worn lol and the pictures by the sofa are slightly off their original angle. But other than this I think it's still the same house. The door number 1303 convinced me

I HEARD IT!!!i kept hearing him say, "chaa", like sleep, replaying it 10 times. but then i realized i was watching a low quality video.so later i watched the HD video and... OMG OMGOMGOMGOMGi heard it in one try.see you in 2Young heaven.I still hear only the 2 chums he says. Lol I feel left out now . What HQ version did u listen to?

As far as I know...they are not allowed to 'meet' outside filming so that the reality part of their reactions is there...like nervousness, yearning, etc and clear gradual progress can be observed....But....new seasons have been allowing them to contact via phone if they want to...so even our couple contact each other often...
But this pd specifically wants her chosen couples to be real...she even commented hoping that there will be real wedding for any couple coz they are really chosen based on compatibility....i read an article of her interview a while back...she would be really proud if that happens...
@jann17 - Do u happen to remember where the PD mentioned this? Was this in the initial press conference? I've been trying to find out more about her but have trouble searching in the right place...

Honestly speaking, it is always a possibility. There is no rule against this. The Adam couple and woojung both kissed. I didn't feel much chemistry with either couple and felt it was instructed. But Leetuk couple kissed, yet theirs felt somehow more genuine. I watched Yongseo couple the most.
I love wooyoung couple a LOT but I don't want a private moment (lip to lip) like this to be on camera. Just IMO. I think a kiss on any other body part (cheek, head, arm) is fine and comfortable for them to do.

But let me share my darkest memory lols. no no, i mean, tell my deepest thought .Reading the hope (and pray) for the good *cough* dating news from our couple makes me envy you all for that idea ‘cause I don't even dare to let myself think that way. (maybe its best for me).After my sinking OTPs (yes there are more than one) 'swept' me back to reality, I'm now learning how to handle myself not to be too overwhelmed, especially in any ship. Realizing the pain was hardly gone/erased, this broken shipper often remind herself that she is nobody's god nor the world creature. Therefore, I build a wall inside my head (and my heart) to keep me from any attemption to 'cross over the boundaries', my own boundaries and technically, it ‘brings’ me to only live in the present and revolve around reality.That itself enough to influence my concern towards 2young. So, when I finally decided to start to ship them and the love for them grows bigger inevitably, I try hard not to jump into any raw conclusion (especially when there is rumor everywhere), calm myself when there are any opposite opinions, and keep the ‘wall alive’.Although sometimes those things are difficult to do, they keep me safe and survive in this sailing (aaanddd to prepare myself for any bad or good news). At the brighter side, I am able to enjoy the show whole-heartedly. I agree. I am the exactly, EXACTLY the same way. I watched Wgm on and off since it started in 2008. I watched/loved Alex & Shinae, Junjin & Lee Si Young (went through my 1st high and low with their dating & breakup)and Yongseo couple (shipped them the hardest lol). I watched bits and pieces of ssangchu, teoksora, woojung, Adam couple, and others.
Wooyoung couple has sucked me in hard lol, so I am keeping that distance and realistic view in place. At the same time I love them together. Shipping is hard, so I try to stay level~

I understand why that back hug was painful for sum viewers but honestly, both wooyoung & seyoung hate PDA(Public display of affection) and theres nothing wrong with that. Some people r private, & some r not. MBC need to realize that everytime they put 2young under pressure or when their being forced to do something, especially when it comes to touching eachother IT DOES NOT GO WELL. like seyoung said, let them slowly do it by themselves NATURALLY. My favorite thing abt this couple is how much they take care of eachother. People normally verbally express their feelings & love for eachother by using the words "i like/love/care abt you" but i think actions speak louder than words. The wiping of eachother's sweat, fixing eachother's hair, those simple things r wat make them real. Seyoung and Wooyoung genuinely enjoy making sure eachother is okay & happy and i think that is the most important thing in relationship.P.S guys, be prepared to get more annoyed bcuz once a couple reaches that 6months line, they automatically get pushed to the back to promote the new couples. which equals less cuts, & screen time. Sorry, thats just how evil MBC works :-qYep, I am waiting for them to be the last broadcast soon. And from my experience the preview is always scenes they DONT show or got cut. But they let us glimpse at the comfort level between the 2. Sometimes certain skinship is cut out because it doesn't fit the wgm storyline/image that producer/writer wants the couple to have.
So even if certain intimacy has been reached, it's not always shown. I enjoy the previews to get a glimpse of these cut scenes!

omg haven't been here in a while. I'm trying to rewatch this series again. I'm in a mood for self torture lmao...miss this drama so much. Have to find where any episodes are, now that DramaFever is gone and neither Viki nor Netflix has the episodes...
