When MW comes back maybe she should get some cheetah pajamas for CS instead.
Forget about the suits and go for the target girl
He will eventually wear them just like the suit but he won't be going out in public that's for sure with these. There for your eyes only MW

Still heartbroken after watching ep 14 . There are many good scenes but this is my most favorite one:
I like the way that she just walked in, saw him and decided to rest on his shoulder then he held her hands gently. There is no word exchanged but they still understand each other. They become each other's HOME.

In all episodes, that moment of CS and MW, when she sit beside him and laid her head on his shoulder-- is the sweetest for me.
In most Kdrama, the male lead would just sit there still and let the girl lean on him... but CS reached out, and held her small hand in his. No need for words, she is close to him. Love is spoken even in this quiet moments.
@aria26, @zhangrain , and @berny2
I feel the same way as you guys. That scene is one of my favorites. I went back to replay that scene after I finished watching the episode. It's the little things that I found very touching between them
I also like the scene where CS is watching MW about to get into the limousine and he quickly holds her arm stopping her to reconfirm that she's coming back. I like how MW touches his hand and and softly rubs her thumb against it softly reassuring him.
Then there is one where CS in his cheesiness draws MW's symbol on the palm of his hand and tells her he belongs to her and they hold hands.
I think I have a thing for hands or something
So let me finish out the romantic hands set and include the time when CS holds MW's hand to give her support and strength to finish writing the invitation letters to MiRa and YS. And when CS and MW are in the doctor's office and she holds his hand saying she'll protect his life line.

I hope it would not be because CS's past life was her horse that accompany her in the long journey (as someone guessed here). That would be super funny! My head will roll off laughing hysterically. LOL!
What if CS is the tree that she use to sleep under?

The Hong sisters really knocked it out of the ballpark for me on this one. So sad that it's ending. I just hope we can get a proper ending.
I was that way in the beginning as well. I kept thinking are these two going to be able to show us the chemistry needed for a main couple? I didn't sense it right off the bat. I was looking at Captain Smirkalot aka Captain Firefly a lot. Probably because the actor LDH does have a nice smile But I'm glad I was proven wrong. I think the turning point was episode 10.
I love the OST for this drama. It has been fantastic! Personal favorites are Taeyeon's All About You (A Poem Titled You), Paul Kim's So Long, Punch's Done For You, and Gummy's Remember Me.

He will likely join her. Like the dog and the owner. And cross that bridge together. I think he has a weak heart. And I don’t think that is just figurative. I think he has a heart condition. He has been primed for sacrifice by Hong Sisters from Day1. The lamb. He has always lived with her best interests (and actually everyone’s best interests) at heart. Whilst portrayed time and time again as the one who is “weak hearted” (by MW’s definition), his is actually the strongest. The giving heart. The sacrificial heart. If anyone deserves to go through that tunnel in a limousine with a rousing send off, it would be CS. It takes great moral courage to let go of the very thing you treasure the most because she had unfinished business with a past lover. No strings attached on his end. He didn’t guilt trip her, he didn’t say, “after all that I have done for you?”. He just let her go at great cost to himself. That’s the right way to send someone off. The Captain’s in contrast was self serving. Why did he hang around for 1300years? It was not for her benefit. It was for his. He couldn’t let her go. His was a love on HIS terms, not hers. CS’s love was always on her terms, for her benefit. There is simply no comparison.
I think CS will walk the bridge with MW but I don't think it will be for a long long time.
CS's lifeline is really long as stated by the doctor in episode 12. So he can't die so soon.
However, he was clutching his heart when crying at the bus stop MaGo 1 has stated several times that when the blossom and petals fall so must MW go. So we can surmise now CS's life is tied to MW or vice versa. I wonder if the danger would be if MW takes too long to come back that CS will have a bad side effect where his health starts deteriorating...his "heart aches" waiting for MW to return and there is a threat of the blossom withering? Figuratively and literally regarding his heart.
I can see if this was the true price that CS has to pay MW would be so upset That when he lets MW go to the after life he ceases to exist as well. As much as MW loves CS and wants to be with him I don't think she would want that to happen to him. To simply die because of her. Of course CS wouldn't see it that way.
But on a positive spin maybe this is the loop hole that MaGo 1 - 3 used to literally tie MW to the human world...this is the results of CS's good karma. He is rewarded with being with MW as long as he lives. So basically MW isn't going anywhere. She escorted CM and erased part of her past. She's closed that part of her life and in a sense that "Jang Man Wol has passed on". When she re-emerges again she is here to live the rest of her life with CS. That's the happy ending there. Now the question is, will she be full human again or this immortal spirit that runs Hotel Del Luna? I want little Man Wols and Chan Sungs running around
All these theories in my head again

I hope next episode, more months pass and CS grows depressed thinking she'd never come back, then one morning, when he wakes up, the first thing he sees is MW's face and she's watching him sleep. Then he cries (really well, sad and in pain like in the bus stop) because he thinks it's a dream but MW touches his face then lays down beside him to comfort him. Then he sleeps again and when he wakes up, he sees her again next to him sleeping, then he finally realizes it's real.
Just wanted to add that MW let's CS use her arm as a pillow and she pats his head like he wanted in episode 12

Big thank you to the early streamers again for all the recaps. I cannot wait to watch episode 14 with subs.

Hahaha or they shouldn't have let him extend his hand and just left knowing MW will never go with him. I mean, after all he's seen between MW and CS, did he really think MW will go with him? The director should have saved him a little dignity.
Yeah, that was a bit harsh for CM. But I guess he still had some tiny hope that after MW found out the whole truth that she would go with him. At least its very clear on MW's side she's finally moved on and put that part of her at rest. She's looking to her future which is CS.
And I agree with what @Ellander88 said about MW on the bridge. I think she probably started erasing her past memories to close that chapter in her life. I wonder can we consider this a symbolic rebirth or reincarnation? When she comes back does she counts as CS's first guest?

These are true and it's one of the things I like about their relationship. They didn't say "I love you" out loud but the way they expressed their feelings meant so much more than those three words. What's more romantic than telling someone you'll carry the burden falling on you because it's all he can do as a human being? But still, more skinship wouldn't hurt. They won't lose anything by doing that.
Totally agree with you. I find MW and CS's communication refreshing. And I like the fact the 2nd female and male leads aren't purposely getting themselves involved with the main couple and trying all sort of things to sabotage the relationship. I mean relationship are hard enough as is. So it is nice to see a story just have the two leads dealing with things together. It makes it more real.
I like the little scene between MW and Teacher Kim where MW doesn't beat around the bush and directly states she is in a relationship with CS and then proceeds to threaten him to leave CS out of his matchmaking schemes
I think we will get a "I Love You" scene unfortunately when CS is saying goodbye to MW

1 hour ago, lollyminx said:Alright, I just watched the subbed EP 13 and from an average viewer’s perspective, it’s easy to see why the ratings decreased yesterday. However, personally, I think this is the farthest we’ve moved forward plot-wise. Regardless of how we feel about CM, positive or negative, the show took a step forward because finally, MW met CM and isn't this what we've been waiting for since episode 1? To know what happened in the past? We got clear answers in this episode.
SOME NOTES:
- · Initially, in previous episodes, I felt sympathetic towards CM thinking he chose to stay as a firefly for MW as penance and/or testament for his love for her. This episode changed my mind because in the flashback, I think he made a cowardly decision. MW wanted him to suffer like she did and I thought he'd be the kind who would accept that after everything he did, letting YW dying included (agreement or no agreement between them). But then he took the easy way out by killing himself and therefore, dooming MW because she can't move on until he pays for his betrayal. It isn’t love. On the other hand, this is a good thing too because it shows the contrast between CM and CS, and why CS is a better fit for MW. It shows us that even if the writers made CS a reincarnation of CM, MW won’t hurt CS because CS is different. He’s a better person than CM and CS doesn’t need to suffer because of CM.
HOW I WANT THINGS TO END:
- · I've accepted the fact that MW will move on. In this episode, MW describes what happens to people’s memories while crossing the bridge. I think it’s just too good of a scene for them to pass up, so we’re going to see MW cross that bridge. I want to see it actually. I want to see her take each step while trying to hold on to CS’s memories up until the end of the bridge. THEN, I also want to see CS crying when he senses that MW’s last memory of him faded. I think it will be a good, heart breaking scene and I wouldn’t mind being put through painful emotions if I get to see it all on screen.
- · With that said, I kind of want them to earn the heartbreak. I hope they spend Episode 15 making the most of their time together. I know they love each other, we’ve seen how they communicate and express it in extremely meaningful ways. But the viewer/”pervert” in me also want them to do stuff that close couples do. You know what I mean. I don’t like seeing them bicker anymore, call each other formally, and still have a line between them they haven’t crossed. I think if we see the times they spend together as a couple, it would be more heartbreaking if MW finals leaves.
- · Also, they better add scenes of CS reminiscing about MW, the way MW did with memories of CS singing baby shark and tending to the ghost child. I want to see how CS remembers MW, not from what we’ve seen in previous episodes, but through CS’s memories when no one is around.
I also agree that I want CS to work at a real hotel after HDL. Yuna should take over since she wants to be with HJ anyway and she doesn’t fit in the real world. YN and HJ can run the hotel together.
Then at the real hotel that CS owns/manages, MW will come in as a human guest without memories of her past. In this way, they can start over. But MW would still be materialistic and feisty. It would be funny if MW is a saggikun like CS’s father and MW enters CS’s hotel to hide from someone, then CS finds her.
The ratings decreased? The story is finally getting to the main point which is MW meeting CM and hashing things out.
I feel the same way about CM now that I know that happened in the bridal chamber that night. I couldn't understand why he couldn't tell her what happened or even utter the words "sorry". I understand that he and YW made that little pack about how he would shoulder the entire blame and be the traitor till the end. But come on, MW just killed the Princess! The reason to keeping things secret just vanished. Instead he starts saying things like I missed you, if this is the only way to touch you, I'll become the moon to watch over you always... He was starting to sound super creepy. Poor MW looked so angry and conflicted. Hearing the words she probably wanted to hear from him at one point in time but never in that context or situation that they were in now.
But I give it to the director or the writers for that hug. It was a great call back to connect with to make MW immediately go wait this isn't my CS that came out of the tunnel. Who is this...stranger (CM)?
Your suggested ending sounds so sad but almost a perfect way to depict the love between the two characters.
I'm reminded of the lyrics in IU's song Our Happy Ending
If that's not possible
Then let it become such a painful wound
That would leave a scar for me to remember you by
Though I'm wondering who this special first guest is at CS's hotel? Luck and prosperity 5th MaGo seemed to have hinted at something will it be our MW or a reincarnation of MW?

Yup, he might try to intervene and screw things up again, hehe. I am not sure how it will go down, but it is not paying back if the person you are indebted to does not appreciate your action, it is only serving your own ego/grudges.
Also excited about baby jin goo's acting <3
Anyway, if YJG and IU end up together, they will have lots of date pics to show their grandkids. That thought makes me happy.
I was thinking on the lines of karmatic/reincarnation sense of paying off debt.
There was this show that one of my good Indian friends use to watch. It was a show about past life regressions. People would come on the show and allow themselves to be hypnotized usually to gain answers to current real life phobias they had. For example being afraid of dolls due to a horrific incident in the person's past life that every time she saw a doll's face she subconsciously be reminded of that past life trauma and freak out. The specialist brought the person back to those past memories, expose the trauma, and then help them reconcile and bring closure to the incidents in the past so those memories would no longer effect them in the current present day time.
There was one episode that had a person go back to their past life and discover the person had been a victim of a train bombing. They had saved a complete stranger from getting hurt but ended up being killed from the blast. Through the course of the episode it was revealed that the person's best friend was actually the stranger they had saved. Their fates were tied together that upon reincarnation the stranger came back and entered the savior's life again as friend essentially "pay their debt". If the two people never came on the past life regression show they would have never known their fateful past.
So I guess I'm stretching it a bit but we have MiRa' paying her debt to MW by not getting involved and getting in the way of CS and MW. She subconsciously feels she shouldn't bother MW. Granted Pink MaGo put MiRa and YW/YS together but even then despite their on again off again relationship MiRa is resolving her debt and providing closure to YW/YS. This is all happening subconsciously.
So I think it's possible that the reappearance of CM, now inside of CS could be serving a similar purpose of paying debt and reconciliation.
MW has this love hate relationship with CM. He took all the choices away from her that night. Or so she decided to perceive it that way. Probably why MaGo 1 tells her she's so foolish and arrogant.
You compare that with CS's life. He's had lots of things happen to him. But he seems to always handle situations in a more positive attitude. He could have easily chosen to be resentful towards his mother, angry at his father for stealing all the time, and completely unforgiving to MiRa for running off with his money. But he doesn't. He had a choice to wallow in his grief and misfortunes but instead he chooses to make the best out of what has been dealt to him. Which I think is a big reason why the three other MaGos decided to choose him as the one to help MW get her closure. He's a good person.

You are not alone. I told myself that I would wait for the subs to come out and not come to the forums but here I am lurking reading everything about ep 13
The episode won't be released for me to see in my area until later this afternoon and generally subs won't be 100% until tomorrow (Sunday)
I'm going to make a stab at a theory with what has been revealed thus far. Early streamers let me know what you think?
So it looks like CM is going to be in CS's body for a bit in ep14?
**If so I cannot wait to see YJG interpretation of CM. I thought he was so good when he had to act like Hyun Joong (bellhop) (the scene where Hyung Joong takes over his body to bring him back to the hotel after the ancient warrior attack incident and then whines to MW to let him stay in CS's body a little longer so he can go do things )
MW has her own plans of revenge.
But I'm wondering if CM will end up defeating the serial killer ghost and protect CS. Once the serial killer is taken care of, CM will leave CS's body.
CM then has fully paid back his debt to MW. In their past life together all CM could do was save MW's life at the cost of killing her entire family off. In this current lifetime to correct his wrong he does his best to save the only person who matters the most to MW and that is CS. Keeping CS alive will bring about closure and resolution to MW and CM's story.

But beside all these questions, there is a question that we all viewers are asking since the beginning of the Drama. What is the real sin that MW committed in the past. I don't think it's only because she blame herself about the dead of YW and her group and because she killed the Princess and supposedly CM. I think there is more. And has she really killed CM?! We still don't know that yet.
As for MW's sin I don't really know if it is one big "sin" or more like a multiple of "sins"
We have 4 Ma Gos that represent the Fates. A Soompier had already equated them to Greek Mythology. The Fates or Moirai
Clotho "spinner" - spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle.
Lachesis "allotter" or drawer of lots - measured the thread of life allotted to each person with her measuring rodAtropos "inexorable" or "inevitable" (unturning) - was the cutter of the thread of life. She chose the manner of each person's death; and when their time was come, she cut their life-thread with "her abhorred shears".
In our story we seem to have an extra Fate involved in things.
1 MaGo (the one with the flowers) - probably represents Lachesis as she gives flowers to those that pass and need to go into the afterlife. She is also the one that encased Man Wol's sword (soul) into the tree thus freezing her time and allowing her to take over the Moon Inn as owner
2 MaGo (works with herbal medicines) - she appears to be the extra Fate. Considering she works with medicines she would perhaps be the healer? Maybe the person who can perform miracles? Like unfreeze MW and restore her time where she gets to become human again instead of going to the afterlife? That would be a nice ending for us
3 MaGo (the one that knits) - probably Clotho as she has been seen knitting and seems like she can entangle fates (she complained in one episode that she got her needles stuck and the item she was knitting became oddly shaped) or bringing two people together with love (those hearts she knits)
4 MaGo (the one dressed in black) - probably represents Atropos and seems to be the stricter one of the lot. She sees no need to ease the passing of those who have died. There shouldn't be a Hotel Del Luna at all. Once your time is up you should simply move forward into the afterlife. She seems to view things either right or wrong and sees no gray.
MW has been accused of being
1. arrogant
2. selfish
3. bad
4. petty
5. greedy
6. uncaring
And in truth she has exhibited all of these traits at one point in time . She squeezes money out of her hotel guests and sometimes walks a thin line with her ethics/morality. Case in point when she took the Black Card to go on a shopping spree. Even though she knew it was the parents of the guy that were trying to get rid of the women. She in some ways was punishing the parents by taking advantage of them with the card but what she is doing is technically wrong. Hence, later CS tells her that he returned the black card and they have to pay for the stuff that wasn't actually for the wedding.
I think MaGo 4's biggest issue with MW is that she has taken advantage and gone way past the time to reconcile her guilt, grief, and grudges. She has to accept the actions that she's taken in her lifetime, and the situations that have befallen her, and let go. MW gives her life to MaGo 1 as supposed penance for the "grave sin" she committed. In her mind she literal caused the deaths of her family (gang of thieves). She fell in love with CM, trusted him to only be betrayed at the end. After being set free she is enraged and goes on a murderous spree killing the guards to get to her ultimate objective the Princess. She dispatches her quickly and then waits for the one who betrayed her trust and love.
Over the course of the years working at the inn MW becomes emotionally stunted. I think it's safe to assume that she has never shared the details of her life with anyone at the hotel. She's turned rather cynical to the world and distances herself from engaging in real emotions. Truthfully if she wanted to leave and go into the afterlife she could have at any point in time. Was it her lingering attachment to the world that still kept her hanging around? Was it the prosperity that Hotel Del Luna eventually came into and she became accustom to living a rich lifestyle, drinking champagne, and eating caviar that she didn't want to leave? Was she actually afraid of dying at one point? She had already killed the Princess and CM. Waiting for them to reincarnate so she could kill them again seems a bit much and there was no hint that she was actually doing that. Unless I missed something somewhere in an episode It wasn't until CS brought MiRa back into MW's life did she think about reincarnation and acting out revenge again.
But now that I'm thinking what if the sin that MW committed was that she never killed CM That she had every intention of doing that but hesitated because of her feelings for him. He was her first love. She may have been conflicted. And maybe in that moment CM killed himself over the guilt of what he did and seeing in her eyes how badly she wanted him to die? So for MW her grave sin was never avenging the death of her family. That explains the conversation with MaGo why she was so angry and how she wanted to meet CM and settle things.
I also wonder if MaGo 4 is just perplexed why there are 2 men who love MW so . CM didn't reincarnate and decided to stay as a firefly as punishment and watch over the tree. CS who stays with MW to help ease her pain and open her heart back up again so she can go into the afterlife. It's not fair that they love this "bad woman" So that makes MaGo 4 even more mad. "This crazy ill tempered woman who lie, cheats, steals, and drinks champagne and caviar has 2 men wrapped around her pinky. These guys can do better." is probably what MaGo is thinking
Quote"My sister chose the right person. The shabby role of getting in the way, holding on, and begging can only be done by a good person."
I don't know, but I think maybe there are more reasons. And CS didn't really exist in the past?
I don't think that the price that CS needs to pay has to do only with people from his past(Mother and SJW) or the misfortune of those close to him(Dead of V, girlfriend of his bestfriend S). These things maybe are part of it. Because of the conversations between MW and the 4th Mago and the 2nd Mago and the Grim Reaper, in the Ep 12.
"The Price that CS needs to pay in return is very unfair. It's neither evenhanded nor objective. It sounds like MW doesn't know the price CS has to pay yet. Once she finds out, she will be sad and scared."Will CS be the new owner of Hotel Del Luna?! And will CS be waiting for the reincarnation of MY?!
CS - A Good Person, that Made the Flowers Bloomed that will consequently wither and made MW go to the Afterlife.
If this will turn to be the price that CS would needs to pay. Indeed is very unfair, neither evenhanded, nor objective. That's why MW will be sad and scared. Because CS will experience what MW experienced during those 1000 years. And who better than MW herself to understand that. The only difference is that while MW supposedly waits for CM for kill him. CS will wait for MW because he loves her and will never get over her loss.As for CS's price I think it's just that he will be left alone in this world after MW passes into the after life. I agree with many that CS may end up running the hotel and simply wait until the day MW comes to the hotel. It could be years or ages. And only then will he pass onward maybe in the hopes of reincarnating to be with MW in the future.
5 hours ago, nastyacolors00 said:According with the conversations between CS and 2nd Mago and MW and the 4th Mago, in Ep's 9 and 12.
"Man Weol protected me. I'm fine. Man Weol is fine thanks to you. You are the one who protected her. So keep on doing your good work. Was I sent to that hotel for that purpose? When the terrible fate comes to her from the past, am I supposed to block her from it? You successfully carried out your mission."
"You should just bring him to me right now. We can end this once and for all, and I'll finally disappear which is exactly what I've been wishing for during the endless years that I had to endure. CS. He will eventually bring him to you."
It looks like that the terrible fate that will come to MW from the past, is CM - the person that she is waiting for all these years. If it turns out to be like that, it makes me think that MW didn't kill him in the past. Instead CM killed himself. That's why MW is been waiting for all those years, to take revenge with her own hands. And CS will be the one that will bring CM to her, like he did with the Princess and YW. But since CM cursed himself into a firefly, I think CS will let him take over his body. And at the same time, CS will have to protect MW again, like he did when she try to curse Mira.
How will CS protect MW if he let CM take over his body?!
(It will be the 3rd time that CS will let a ghost take over is body. Again the reference of number 3. And coincidentally in one of the conversation between MW and CS, in Ep 12, she said: "You can't let a ghost take over your body like that. Promise me. Don't you ever do something like that without me.")Considering CM is a firefly he cannot really talk it does seem logical that he would have to take a hold of body to speak with MW. CS seems to be the most likely candidate. This way there can be actual closure for MW because she won't hurt CS while CM attempts to communicate with her.
Can you imagine it gets revealed to MW that CM is the firefly that has been buzzing around her tree. CM doesn't take a body to talk and tries to fly around pantomiming his words to MW. CS standing there trying to interpret the fly charades. MW gets annoyed not listening to a thing being guessed and goes finds an electric fly swatter zapping the firefly dead That would be so anti-climatic funny but anti-climatic

You’ve got that nonchalant attitude and really couldn’t be bothered with all the little stuff. Nothing wrong with that at all!

Awww that link to Gumiho. I haven't seen that drama but based on the translation, yeah, there may be a connection to HDL. Thanks for posting them.
I think I'm ready for a sad ending though. Sad ending, happy ending, open ending it doesn't matter much to me as long as it makes sense and you can tell that it's well thought out. I hope they don't rush it or make one that's full of plot holes or one that will make you go, "I wasted 16 hours of my life for this?" or something that they obviously came up with just to say there's an "ending."
I'm with you on an ending that makes sense.
All I can do is hope for the best and prepare for the worst at this point.
If I can get a few more cute scenes between MW and CS I think I would be satisfied with just playing those scenes over again and then ending with the "Our Happy Ending" kiss scene at the end of episode 12 and block everything else out.
And if people bring up the ending of HDL...I'll just be like...What ending are you talking about for HDL? Mine ended with an awesome kiss scene and they lived happily ever after
By the way anyone take the quiz "Which of IU's K-Drama characters are you" on the main site?
I got Jang Man Wol

I don't want any more heart-ache. But why do I have the feeling I'm going to be crying buckets during the last 4 episodes *sigh*
But just want to say...how cute are MW and CS together...the hand holding and MW straightening his jacket?

You're captions are the best!

While sending her off, reality must've strike CS making him trying to run after her. I mean, even though he had just gotten close to Ms. Choi and they only interact as colleague, CS can already feel the sadness and pain pouring in while sending Ms Choi off. So, just how could he be able to send MW off?
You may be right about that. The previews are trying to confuse us. Maybe CS thought MW was leaving without saying goodbye to him and he just started running after the limo. He'll probably walk back to the hotel and see MW in her office wondering what happened to him. And then we get another one of those emotional filled story parallel scenes of CS realizing this is what's it going to feel like to see MW go. the witters are trying to kills us aren't they? I don't want to cry all the way through another episode.
If it is Ms. Choi going first of the three workers I'm going to be sad. She was oddly one of my fave workers there.
13 hours ago, lollyminx said:I feel like MW will leave by episode 15 or even the first part of episode 16. That's because I think they will add filler episodes for episode 13 and 14 (the staff leaving one by one, tying up JK and YN's story), and then just rush the ending in the final two episodes.
NOTE: I refuse to be disappointed so I'm just setting the bar here really low. I'd be happy to be proven wrong.
I'm trying my hardest to keep my expectations low so I don't get disappointed. I so badly want to be proven wrong.

But seriously I doubt MW will go voluntarily before the evil spirit is vanished. The preview is surely misleading as always.
On the lighter not, I'm also as many of you here is of mind that CS is due to become the next del Luna's director.
And it brought to mind this scene. What if the roles are reversed and this time CS will go recruiting MW's reincarnation as the new manager? Just imagine him in his tiger print suit and oxford shoes seductively cornering MW in an empty metro cabin.
He is coming closer and closer, bends down to her face and.... she says *Ahjusshi, are you a perv?!*
But than again if MW ever becomes the manager I'm afraid uri CS dies from overwork or goes bankrupt.
That would be an awesome twist. Heaven kicks out MW cause she's too expensive to support One of the MaGo's shows up at CS's door and goes..."Here take her back. You look after her. We cannot handle her in this lifetime. Maybe after a few more years living with you she'll calm down. Your job is to tame this wild cat."
MW smiles, "I'm back! Did you missed me?" CS eagerly nods his head and goes in for a big hug only to be dragged by one arm to his bedroom. "Sanchez is at work, right?"
"Yes..." Confused, slightly excited, but trying to keep his cool replies, "I missed you too..."
MW starts rummaging through his closets. "So where is that leopard suit?"
CS "You mean you dragged me here to just look for the leopard suit?"
"Of course. You never wore it for me. Don't you think you should as a welcoming gift? Why? What did you think I was coming here for?'
CS *face palms* "Nevermind..."
Your second pitch is just as good!

Was finally able to watch both episode 11 and 12 with subs. There was a lot to unpack. But here are few of my thoughts and feelings.
Episode 11
ManChan Couple
What can I say about them? I just love every little interaction they have now. MW's guard is down and seems more relax in front of CS.
You can tell by the way she talks to him she isn't as rough and her eyes have softened when she looks at him.1. That leopard suit gift I hope CS does wear it one time to humor MW. Another happy memory to give to MW before she leaves.
2. Smooth Operator CS with his restaurant reservation. The "Harvard Scammer" has a few tricks up his sleeves. I was cracking up
at how pleased he was with himself when MW was amazed that they were going to eat at the rice cake soup place. And it's great that we were able to get a confirmation on what everyone thought was YJG adlib-ing that line about UI's earrings their laughter after that point pure gold
3. Missed opportunities and the rose scene I must admit that when I first saw the episode without subs I was yelling
at the screen telling CS to give her a neck massage and it seemed like MW was asking for it to cause she kept rolling her head and gave him a side glance Upon second viewing seeing CS completely by passes all of this to tell her she's the most beautiful flower on the hotel grounds I was like okay I see where CS is going. Different direction to take here. Then MW misunderstanding CS's offer to take the phone to instead initiate in some form of skinship was hilarious. The scene itself played out rather cutely so I'm rather satisfied with it.
The dream call service
The father and son calling the driver really touched me. We often think of ghosts being vengeful and scary. But here it shows how caring and thoughtful they can be. We forget that the good souls will always do good. It even touched the cynical MW that even she started seeing the value and good this service could do. It seemed to me she finally started "working" at the hotel to see her guests off well and would finish out the remaining calls.
Sanchez and Veronica
I know some felt this story was a bit rushed and shoehorned in as one of the "ghost of the week episodes" that there should have been more set up. However, Sanchez mentioned Veronica a couple episodes back so she wasn't a character we were just hearing about in episode 11. Also, we were introduced to Sanchez way back in the beginning of the show so there has been some time for the audience to build attachment to the character and what happens to him.My heart aches for Sanchez and that goodbye scene was heartbreaking. Again we are shown a parallel to what CS will most likely have to go through when he sends MW off. That sadness of a relationship ending before it truly began...the what ifs and the future that could have been *sigh*
You can really see the strong friendship that CS and Sanchez have. CS standing outside quietly waiting allowing his friend to say his goodbye and come back in when ready. The sorrow on his face was for Sanchez and what he was going through.
Episode 12I cried buckets in this last one From the story of the parents and their sick child, MW and CS's fight, and then MW and CS's makeup kiss scene.
Nurse Man Wol
All I have to say is hemorrhoid ointment
But I truly loved the way CS was smiling at MW as she was trying to figure out how to treat his wounds.
CS is such a tease too. The game between him and the red carSerial Killer
Like seriously if that bar is a real bar I really don't think a serial killer would be hiding his needles and bottles of knockout drugs in some drawer that anyone could openAlso, what's up with the gun scene back in college? Just because it's in America doesn't mean people would not freak out and call the police on you if they saw you waving a gun around in board day light. That was a bit too far-fetched in my mind
I hope Grim Reaper gets hat spirit fast. I don't want him harming Sanchez, CS, or anyone else for that matter.
Kiss Me,. Hug Me, Thrill Me
HDL always seem to save the best scenes for last It was done beautifully. They both understand the stakes and they resolve to be there for each other til the very end even knowing its not going to be easy. I like how MW initiated the kiss and finally surrender her emotions. She has very little time left and she should be giving him happier moments and memories so he can look back fondly. Then when CS took control and pulled her back for another kiss *sigh*
MW you tease him about his "manliness" but be careful girl you are really calling out that tiger. CS is a not kitty cat. He's given those come hither eyes twice to you now.
Seriously, can we have a third time that hits a home run come on Hong Sisters considering the impending doom ending your going to be giving...let them have one night they won't forget
On 8/19/2019 at 5:55 AM, gilaswan said:Eps 11 & 12 felt lacking in terms of plot development, particularly in the advancement of MW’s back story and what the significance of having YW finally appear in the present means. If MW had waited 1300 years before she finally encountered YW and the princess, is there no more significance to this than that those two are dating, albeit in a fiery and tumultuous relationship (experienced only through the phone call)? And what of the look YW gave MW when their eyes met in the previous episode? Nothing more to that?
And I too am getting lost in this Mago-MW kerfuffle. The more I see of what is revealed in MW’s past, the more I fail to understand what great sin it is that has kept her locked to that tree for a millennium. If her sins were for her thieving ways, then what about other bandits? If it was for killing a bride on her wedding night out of spite, and being and all round vengeful spirit, then SJW is a far more treacherous soul. So it must be that Mago for some reason found something in MW worth redeeming. But why? What makes MW’s soul so different from the others we’ve seen so far? Is it only cos she was looking for the inn in the first place in order to make good the wrongs done to the entire tribe that died because of her folly? And what would that folly have been? To place her trust in the wrong person? I am confused.
I am not sure there is really anything more to YW/YS and MiRa's reincarnation other than to give MW closure. And to show that you can move on. These are two souls that have had multiple reincarnations while MW has stayed frozen in time. It's almost showing MW if you had just let go you could have been like them, living another life, and experiencing things you've kept yourself from feeling.
As for the sin that MW did all I can surmise is that she killed people and robbed people. She should have been punished like the rest by being reincarnated and having to live a new life to learn the lessons she failed to learn. To pay back the debt she owed to whomever it is that she owed it to. Instead she prolonged her time here by refusing to forgive and move onward. Its been 1300 years and all she's done is take advantage of MaGo 1's offer and that is probably why MaGo 4 looks at her with such disdain.

We should get a lesson from the other ghosts. Did the room 13 get special treatment? No, she was pulverized, but MW has superpowers and cars. MG1 had protected /fenced her too long. (It could also be that MG4 is annoyed in general with HDL, because ghosts should not stay too long in this earth after they die, but HDL provides a legitimate heaven sanctioned place to do that, like a loophole in the rules. I think MW is caught in a conflict of ideologies between MG1 and MG4)
Your answer I think hits it at the core that "MW is caught in a conflict of ideologies between MG1 and MG4"
And it seems most of us are too because we cannot figure out what the Gods want. One side heals, shields, and comforts while the other side yells and waits for you to fall. So who will show up at the end MG1 or MG4?

Quite frankly I'm getting a little tired of the "Guesssssss how CS is going to pay the price? Guessssssssss? I'm not going to tell - but it's going to be HEAVYYYYYY AND PRICEYYYYYYY!"
When MG was with GM at the tree saying that MW still has no idea what price CS has to pay, I flipped and said aloud "WHAT DID THE POOR FELLA DO IN HIS PAST LIFE? DID HE KILL ALOT OF TREES? DID HE STEP ON FLOWERS?DEFORESTATION? IS THIS WHY HE MUST KEEP A TREE ALIVE AND MAKE FLOWERS BLOOM THIS LIFE? WHY DIDN'T YOU MAKE HIM A GARDENER THAT CANNOT GROW PLANTS INSTEAD?!"
Weird rant done.
My husband also suggested that the heaviest price to pay for CS is to spend eternity and be the new owner of HDL in exchange for MW to leave for the afterlife.
I love your rant there.
Maybe CS was a gardener in his past life who couldn't grow anything and this is his debt to pay now. To grow things
Your husband's suggestion seems very plausible. I wouldn't put it past it now that this is the direction we are heading in.
On 8/19/2019 at 11:39 AM, laura_waterhouse said:Haha. I love CS but maybe he did something wrong in his other lives, not necessarily connected to MW. Although, MG said early on in ep 1 that he has good karma (not sure) and that his early misfortunes in life (dad and it turned out even mom), would clear his way to a good life? Maybe his karma is so good that MG1 picked him to help out MW, because no matter how high the price is, his karma would be able to take it. It may sound unfair, but the show has been showing that life is unfair, humans can only choose to react positively or negatively to what life serves them. MG1 was right in choosing CS, his good heart has led the flowers to bloom, maybe he will also react well to the price?
So true about life. As humans we can only choose how we react to situations. That is the one true choice we have.
On 8/19/2019 at 4:13 PM, Chit Tart said:So the latest episode did confirm that CM died that night since he was the firefly that stayed behind. I don't understand why he wouldn't just be like "hey stop, don't stab me. This is what happened, I made a deal with your friend in exchange for your life so please don't hate me and don't suffer the rest of your life". If MW is the last person CS will send off, that means CS will probably let CM take over his body to clear up any misunderstandings and then send him off before MW.
Really hoping for a happy ending without any of the reincarnation nonsense. I want to see them happy in their current states, not the next one that only exists in our imagination. The Hong sisters can only repeat that trope so many times right? Even though the hotel itself may not exist once MW leaves, there still needs to be a place for wandering ghosts to go and I'm thinking that maybe MaGo's plan is for CS to take over that job in return for waiting for MW's reincarnation. But MW will sneak the potion into CS (through MaRi?) and make it so that won't happen. Which would be super sad and a terrible ending.
Maybe MW is just that skilled of a fighter that she killed him before CM could say anything? Or CM was stupid and just let her kill him off so easily. If it were the second case he deserve to live like a firefly for all those years.
But you have to admire that he stayed as a firefly waiting for her. I guess he figure if they went to the afterlife together they could be reincarnated so he could pay back his debt and maybe the second time around they could actually be together.
On 8/19/2019 at 5:07 PM, laura_waterhouse said:Good point.
This is also one reason why I find the hatred towards Mi Ra in terms of the love angle a bit weird. Given what happened (dont know what will be revealed in the future), it seems that she does not really care about the romantic angle between CM and MW. She caught a gang of thieves and was killing them as punishment, not because she was lovelorn, otherwise, she would have executed MW first, but she let her go meaning she did not think of her as a love threat. And if CM knew Mi Ra is jealous of MW, then his whole plan of saving her is foolish, because Mi Ra would kill MW first.
You got a point there about Mi Ra and the love angle. But maybe Mi Ra didn't think MW was anyone significant...that her Captain would really be in love with a person of such lowly stature. Also Captain could have been playing it real cool. He seemed to be a bit of a smooth operator. Mi Ra may not of realized how strong and fearless MW actually was. That she would dare to come back into the palace and attempt to kill her after she pardon her from death and killed all her men. A miss calculation on her part and thus she died at MW's hands.
Theories, theories, theories
My last thoughts for this really long post.
Wacky thoughts cause I'm losing my mind trying to guess what is happening and we are all going down very dark paths for the last episode.
What if the punishment is for MW to become human again and live the life she should have done instead of
bargaining it with God to run the Inn. She should have passed by now meaning to pass by and move forwardSo they are passing their trouble maker MW to CS to take care of for the rest of his life

I am curious about that.
I thought somewhere in the show we have concluded that the dreams are MW's memories. If so, was that scene at the lake just her imagination of what CM was doing?
Or is CS getting his own visions?
I was wondering about the same thing.
But I believe in episode 10 when 2 of the MaGos are talking (The Medicine maker and the Pink suit knitter). One of them mentions that CS has the ability to see "relationships which were severed" and it's a side effect of the ghost eye. At least that was how it was translated. I took that translation to mean that he has the ability see beyond what MW was experiencing in his dreams, hence the scene in which he saw CM waiting for MW.
I think after this episode I'm on the side that CM is the Firefly. Maybe he reincarnated as a bug for his sins and he choose to stay as one until MW can forgive herself and let go of her grudges and move on.
I really like CS and kind of grown attached to (in MW's words) this "Greedy Harvard Scammer" I want him and MW to have a happy ending. No ill will towards CM (who has a killer smile by the way). But I want it to be MW and CS at the end. However, it may turn into star crossed lovers?
I have more thoughts about Episode 11 but I'm waiting for subs so I can re-watch with full understanding. I'll come back later to share my feelings.

So I posit this:
If the tree has not been growing for the last 1000 years because MW’s spirit has been dead, ie emotionally she cannot live, then now that it’s growing is an indication that MW is emotionally alive again. This is largely due to CS and of course other events happening that is leading her to confront the issues that have stunted her growth for the last millenia. That she is now “living”, she is ready to forge human relationships with the living (than dead relationships with those in the spirit world). This will be done through CS. Will all this culminate in CS being “used” and therefore in a short while more MW dies and gets ushered into the afterlife? Or do we get a happy-ever-after?
MW needs to have a human death in order to pass to the afterlife. To have a human death she must have a human life, ie actually live in the Carpe diem! sense of “live”. And CS is the answer. I’d like to think that if the couple invest in their relationship to the point where they sleep together — a very physical and culminating act of love and commitment to each other — MW’s spirit will be detached from the tree. Then life is fully hers while the tree then continues in its own cycle towards (a “second”) death. MW then lives and will die eventually like any other human that can grow old and age, and go through that normal life process with CS. So we will get a happily ever after.
How I wish that be the case that MW gets to become human again and be with CS. But considering all the foreshadowing that's been done on this show it just seems that that's not the ending we are going to get
My best guess is we are going to get the sad but still good ending. MW passes all the tests that Mago has given. She is at peace with herself, the past, and ready to move onto the afterlife. CS will then send her off and be his last guest. Then I guess CS will just return to the human world working at the first hotel he was hired at. On big full moon nights he will look up to the sky and reminisce his time with MW and give a thoughtful smile remembering her fondly and it ends on that
If we are lucky maybe they forward to many years ahead and we see MW and CS again but their now a new reincarnated selves.
Something like this scenario: MW and CS bump into each other and they have this deja vu moment and then like go their separate ways. Then we see later CS is meeting up with some friends at a coffee shop to do some studying and we see MW there as well. She gets introduced by one of the friends as a new college transfer student. CS and MW end up sitting next to each other and start fumbling around while getting their books out. MW ends up dropping her pen under the table and CS immediately bends down to help and grabs for the pen only to end up grabbing MW's hand as she got to the pen first. (flash back to the CS taking MW's hand to sign the paperwork) They shyly laugh at each other and then start the studying session with the friends. Eventually the two start bickering over something the group is studying about some topic like money vs happiness...what is more important in life. One of the friends comments "You guys argue like a old married couple" making them both laugh nervously and stop their fight even though MW is giving CS the stink eye
Then slowly all the friends end up leaving the study session and it's now just CS and MW. MW picks up her coffee cup and sucks through her straw what's left of her iced coffee...very little and then grabs her wallet looking inside realizing she's short on cash to get something to eat. CS who's been reading his textbook silently glances up understanding the situation. He then suddenly shuts it close and tells MW, "I know a chicken noodle soup shop a few blocks from here. It's very delicious and they server fresh kimichi that goes really well with it. Come on." He starts packing his stuff up while MW looks at him not really sure how to tell him she doesn't have enough money on her. CS then tells her "I'll spot you this meal. Consider it a new transfer student welcoming dinner. Just pay me back tomorrow." CS walks away from the table nearing the exit when he turns around and asks, "Are you coming?" MW quickly grabs all her stuff and has a small smile. CS's has turned around facing the cafe door also smiles to himself. And so it ends here hinting that these two have found each other again in this new life
LOL my fanfic mind I know this won't happen

I was thinking along those same lines as you @laura_waterhouse
A few days ago I had gone back and re-watched certain scenes from past episodes to get a better understanding of MW's past and the circumstances of how Hotel Del Luna existed. I wonder how exactly the tree was tied to the hotel and all of that.
I assumed MW was on the verge of death when she found MaGo 1 at that remote area. She had been travelling for a very long time and on the run from the palace guards. I found it weird when MW was asking for the whereabouts of the Moon Inn that MaGo replied only ghosts could see it. If she was already a ghost I would think the Inn would be visible for her. Also, MW didn't see her band of brothers behind her only MaGo did.
Even though MaGo berets MW at her own foolishness I guess the fact that MW was willing to "give her life" as punishment for the sins she committed MaGo decided to be somewhat merciful and bind her soul to the tree and make her the new owner of the Moon Inn. MaGo probably thought "this one" has a lot of grudges maybe serving her time as she has requested will allow her to eventually let go and move on. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. MW just continued to stew in her own misfortunes and heartache. She couldn't look past and let things go.
Before MaGo leaves MW to take the coffin filled with trinkets she does say something along the lines of welcome the new owner of the Moon Inn. Which really got me thinking was there an owner before this? Or did MaGo run this establishment until MW requested to be punished and she decided she could hand this over to MW so she could then do more retirement freelance work. Hence she now wanders around giving flowers and send people off to the afterlife with the Grim Reaper?
I think because MW hadn't yet died but her soul was encapsulated in the tree that her "time" stopped. She is neither fully human nor fully a ghost but in between, hence she tell CS that she is "simply existing" Obviously since it's been 1000 years she's technically dead so I think the only thing she can do is move on in the afterlife. Now, that I'm thinking about it, "simply existing" could also be a play on her emotional state. She is not emotionally tied to anything and has very little care for anyone. She just goes through the motions day in and day out...doing the minimum of what is required from her and making no effort to reconcile with her past and move one..."simply existing"
In regards to her powers I was thinking she was allowed some powers to be able to protect her guests or ward off things looking for trouble. Because of these powers she is able to appear in real life unlike the others. Hyun Joong (the Bellhop) told Yuna that he cannot make himself appear for long periods of time because it takes a lot out of him. But maybe it's a practice thing? Unless Yuna is really eating Subway or Pizza "by herself" and "talking to herself" I would think people would notice a Subway sandwich floating in mid air with bite marks on it and freak out
Ah, more theories and such swimming in my head I really wish we could get some more background on how this world works.
Okay finale theory thoughts. This firefly. I know it looked like a guy's shadow based on the height but it's still a shadow so it's hard to really define if it was male or female. Just crazy idea out there. What if the firefly is part of the tree...the environment around the tree. What if it was a part of MW's soul that came as a firefly and visited CS to sort of help lead him back?

@aria26 I agree with your assessment.
I also find MW's words may been taken too literal in the article. MW essentially told telling CS I need your help in stopping myself. I may get blinded by my anger and not listen in that moment but I need you to not give up on me. If you think about it MW may be strong on the outside but she is actual very weak emotionally. She was abandoned by CM and she lost her family (gang) . She had no one to console her or help her release her grudges. No one seemed to care to find out her story over these 1000 of years. No one cared enough to get to know her and see past her mean front. CS is the first person to do so. MW has a reason to do the right thing because someone believes in her. That when the moment counts she will pull through and do the right thing.

Hello *waves* everyone a new lurker here that finally decide to join in on the conversation
It's been a long time since I've watched a K drama. I've never watched a Hong Sisters drama either so not sure how they typically end things. Crossing fingers we get a happy ending for Man Wol who has been through a lot. I just want her to get a happier ending this time around.
Thus far episode 10 is shaping up to be one of my favorite episodes. It seemed to have a little bit of everything.
Chang Seong and Man Wol - I really enjoyed seeing how their relationship was changing; specifically how MW was changing. She's a very lonely individual. She has emotionally shut everyone out for a thousand years due to her own guilt. You see it in the way she interacts with her own staff. They've worked together for years but they only know things about each other on the surface level. Manager Noh seemed to have some understanding about MW and it seemed she had a slighter deeper bond with him but even still she kept him at a distance. So MW latched on to the only things that could provide "happiness" without any cost...her obsession with money, her collection of cars, her wardrobe, and her champagne and caviar.
In the library scene, for the first time we see MW being active in taking a direct interest in a relationship. The way her hand reached out yet still hesitant and unsure how to console CS and then eventually dropping to give way to the only emotion she's known these few hundred years; Anger. And then that look of immediately regret upon CS's reply and the tug at his arm it was just a wonderfully played out scene.
I just loved the confession hug in front of the tree To me it felt just right. I know some of you all want a little more romance and I'm all for that too but I think in this instance the hug made sense especially for MW. This has probably been her first real hug in ages. Probably the last time she was hugged was by her mom or dad. CS's hug started out gentle almost reassuring...a warm embrace of safety and when she reciprocated he lowered his hand to her lower waist and tightened the hug in more intimate loving way
Now that we know next episode CS and MW are suppose to be having a secret office romance I'm tapping my fingers giddily hopeful for some cute scenes with eye locks, hand holding, and near missed kisses because of the three stooges I want a kiss scene of course but I think it will be a lot more fun and entertaining this way
Yeon Woo (Young Su) and Man Wol - I teared up when they saw each other Such a beautifully executed scene. That spark of recognition or deja vu from YW/YS and MW's tearful but warm smile happy he got reincarnated and is living a good life.
Yeon Woo (Young Su) and Princess Song Hwa (MiRa) - don't hate me but I actually found them cute together MiRa has debt to pay. She decided not to pursue CS to give way for MW. So I guess for YW/YS she is becoming a friend or more to give support and a possible life together instead taking his life away?
Serial Killer arch - I wonder if this is going to play out to the finale or will be wrapped up in the next couple of episodes. This one seems pretty important considering Sanchez, CS, and MiRa know him. And now it seems the Serial Killer has a way to get to CS and Yuna. I wonder if this will be a test for MW. We know how protective she can be and considering how she had lost her family (rebel group) so if the Serial Killer as so much as hurt a single hair on CS's head she'd go after him. Which makes me wonder how Chung Myung is going to appear? I am of the theory that CS is not CM. I kind of prefer it that way that CS is his own character who is teaching MW how to let go of her grudges. Will CM some how get involved in this case and MW and gang maybe think he is the Serial Killer when the twist is of course he is not but is actually a good guy that tried to save CS and Yuna? Maybe he ends up helping YW/YS in the case but MW in her grudge rage may doubt CM and try to harm him All these theories

Wow, is all I can say after reading the translated transcripts and fan reactions to the conference held.
I think everything is just a series of very unfortunate events that have surrounded Jaebum and the rest of the 2PM guys. JYPE has seriously mishandled everything to lead to some of the heated responses and has painted a very bad picture of the group dynamic even though they were trying to salvage the situation that stated in the first place.
I know things can be lost in translation like tone and full context of what might have been said by the members that did speak at the conference; however I couldn’t get rid of the nagging feeling that they are very angry and annoyed by this whole “Jaebum situation”:
1. I’m sure they were all angry at Jaebum’s MySpace comments because they either didn’t understand the meaning or didn’t understand Jaebum’s feelings at the time that he wrote those messages.
2. After Jaebum left the media hype continued and there was always the lingering cloud of Will Jaebum return or will he leave for good? Why won’t the rest of 2PM say something? Are they trying to do anything for him? Eventually comments turned to Why are so-and-so still on the variety show? How can they laugh and smile like that on TV?
3. The pendulum of emotions swung from high to low as people were happy to see the 2PM boys performing again on stage but sad, angry, and frustrated that one of the members was missing. The feeling of betrayal was probably lingering in the rest of the boys’ minds because they didn’t do anything to warrant such backlash from some fans taking extreme measures although they understood they couldn’t help but feel hurt. Eventually I think that feeling of understanding soon turned to resentment because everyone was focusing on one member and trashing the name of 2PM which they were still a part of. Would they (the rest of the boys) ever get rid of this shadow (Jaebum’s departure and scandal) that kept following them around? Were they not good enough? Was 2PM really only about one member? They too worked just as hard but because of one member’s stupid mistake they had to suffer, was that fair?
4. The boys might have forgiven him personally but was still very scarred by the whole situation. When news was delivered by JYPE to the boys that Jaebum had supposedly done something really bad during the AAA days that piece of lingering resentment fully surfaced that even the ones that trusted Jaebum the most had no other choice but agree that it was best to let him go. Perhaps JYPE always wanted to kick Jaebum out from the start but because of the fans’ reactions decided to give him another shot. Then they found something that could use to get rid of him once and for all and withheld the information about Jaebum’s “serious personal wrongdoing” waiting for the right time to throw this bombshell to the boys in the hopes to destroy any bonds that they (the boys) might have had for Jaebum’s return. The feelings of resentment and anger came back as to Why, why did you have to go do something like that again, Jaebum? Just when I have slowly forgiven you, you had to go and do something again.
I didn’t like how JYPE tried to paint themselves and 2PM as victims and that it was all Jaebum’s fault.
Jaebum was a victim himself. He was young and brash to have left those MySpace comments but could you really blame him for the way he felt?...and the whole cultural situation came into play here. His own native country turned their backs on him because they refused to understand why one of their own could say such things. (My personal feelings of why I probably ended up being so interested by this whole Jaebum scandal is because as an American Born Asian you are not seen as being American you are just “Asian” but then to your own native Asian country you are seen as “American” and not Asian---a very hard and sad thing to not be able to belong to anyone because no one understands you or wants to even try) I don’t think Jaebum is a saint he’s human and probably has made some bad choices. He hasn’t said anything about this whole situation so he might have actually done what JYPE has alluded to. Then again maybe he hasn't done anything but doesn’t want to say anything because he doesn’t want to cause more problems and will take the brunt of everything and allow people to label him what they like because he had already shamed himself, his family, 2PM and JYPE from his MySpace comments.
2PM/6PM/1:59PM or whatever you want to call them are victims here as well. They didn’t ask for this to happen and have been painted by some of their “fans” as selling out. They are human too and so bad choices can be made by them as well. Perhaps they did try the best they could to help Jaebum or they tried but didn’t try hard enough because their career was on the line. You can’t blame them for wanting to remain after all each of them wanted to become famous and sing and dance on stage as individuals (or would have been happy to be a part of a group). Fame and fortunate is a heavy price to pay and I think they (all the 2PM boys including Jaebum) are finding out just how heavy it is. I think whether they are innocent or not during this whole fiasco “Jaebum’s shadow” will continue to follow them. I can’t help but feel a sense of disappointment as they have stated before in previous interviews that they would like to be like “Shinhwa” (in terms of teamwork and brotherhood) I’m sorry to say that I don’t think I can ever look at them like that with the way this whole Jaebum thing has played out.
I’ll still check in to see what new songs are released etc. But I won’t ever be able to look at them the same way ever again.
Remaining Hottest, Hwaiting! Support the rest the best you can.
Jaebum fans Hwaiting! If the news is true about AOM and Jaebum’s friend’s album…it won’t be long before you’ll get to see or Jaebum in action again.
Sorry for the long post but I just had to get out my rant and I'm not even a huge 2PM fan
Peace, Love, and Respect.

Wow, I knew that things were going to get heated but I didn't realize that it was going to be this bad.
Trashing JYPE building and now angry comments for Taecyeon and WooYoung demanding they leave their variety shows?
This is just crazy and it is so sad that some Hottest are doing some of these things.
I'm sad for the rest of the 2PM boys because I really don't think they deserve any of what is being thrown at them.
I don't know if any of these bc things are going to bring Jaebum back. The only thing that I hope will continue to happen is to always include Park Jaebum's name in the 2PM chants. It's the least the fans can do to remind JYPE that he will never be forgotten and also be a thorn to them as well.

This is my first time posting here at the 2PM thread. I honestly thought that the first time I would post would be to congratulate the Hottest and welcoming back Jaebum.
I just read the news article on Allkpop and I was dumbfounded. Almost as in much shock at the state of events that happen when it was first reported that Jaebum had left to go back to Seattle.
My heart goes out to all Hottests who have been patiently waiting for the return of their Leadja.
Though I'm not a huge 2PM fan I have kept myself updated with any new 2PM developments and was filled with just as much hope that Jaebum would one day return to his group.
That dream ended today and I feel the bitter sorrow of reality...of what the Music/Entertainment Industry is like. Although I morn the loss of a very talented and gifted individual from the KPop industry and feel disgusted to the way JYPE has handled the whole situation from the start and the hurt and anger of how cultural misunderstandings has placed a heavy price on an individual...I find myself thinking perhaps this outcome was for the best.
If the company was manipulative and only saw their artists as products then maybe it is better for Jaebum to have left.
If the company doesn't believe in truth or has any integrity then maybe it was better he left.
If the company wasn't willing to stand up for their artists and do right by him/her maybe it is better he left.
A part of me says good riddance to JYPE cause Jaebum may actually have a happy life even after all this mess.
The part wants Jaebum to return on his own two feet with another company and be even bigger and better showing what a stupid move JYPE did letting him go.
The next couple of months are going to be rough for everybody.
K and I Hottest hwaiting!!
The rest of the 2PM boys must be hurting and my hearts go out to them as well and hope they can stay strong.
In the end I doubt 2PM is going to disband as some have been saying...life moves on and things will calm down.
I wish the best of luck to 2PM and Jaebum in their future. They maybe separated by company but they are bounded by friendship and brotherhood. And I think at the end of the day personal relationships are probably one of the most fulfilling things a person can have.

The first couple of episodes should be interesting just to see how they react to each other...
Seohyun the reserved girl who prefers sweet potatoes to boys and YongHwa the cute and talented singer/actor.
I think the PDs of the show know what their doing picking a couple like this to spark controversy/responses from the viewers and netizens and create a buzz hopefully in their favor to get people to watch WGM.
People shouldn't take this so seriously it is after all a make-believe scripted marriage show.

Wow the production OST team was right this song with Punch and Taeyong is super happy.
Will we get our happy ending? Cause I can also see this being played in the background for Yuna and Hyun Joong as well.
