  1. You guys, I'm worried about THE HEIRS catching up to SECRET! I mean, when I first heard that HEIRS and MEDICAL TOP TEAM were airing on Wednesday-Thursday against SECRET, I honestly thought Secret wasn't going to stand a chance since who enjoys a really good melodrama these days? But then SECRET kept topping the ratings charts and even I was surprised in a very good way! But now that the cast of HEIRS are back in Korea and sporting their high school uniforms and fighting (shooting evil looks and war words) in the school yard, I'm scared SECRET might not be able to hold their #1 spot for long... I don't care though because SECRET is my personal preference out of the 3 and I'm so glad it's doing well... I just hope they continue to top the charts with just 6 episodes left!!!! *staying positive*

  2. After cursing Do Hoon so much, in so many ways, step back for few seconds and try to imagine this drama without him being there... In my opinion, bad guys are making a story successful, so most of your interest for "Secret" is due to him. As much hate he can gather, as much you'll resent him more and will have the desire to kill, hang, burn, stab, murder him no matter what.
His "weight" is responsible for our emotions.
So, let him be, and follow him up to the end.

I actually didn't think the writers were even going to focus so much on his character until Ep 5 when all the focus was on him only. Honestly, I am watching SECRET because I was curious how far into the revenge the writers were going to take us and how MH is going to find out the truth. I can care less for DH's antagonism but kudos to the writers for making me hate DH so much. I was expecting the drama to go full Thai Lakorn on us when I saw stills of MH choking YJ in Ep 2 but I know Koreans aren't about that Thai Lakorn madness lol. I just hope the writers would give us a good ending and DH gets what's coming to him because no bad should go unpunished.

  3. OH MY WORD, Episode 9!

Everyone has gone off the deep end!!!! Crazy! Cuckoo-cuckoo! BICHASEO!
    Very INTENSE episode!
At first, it just looked like YJ is still blind as ever... however, after watching it with subtitles, she's starting to let go of her relationship with DH. How many of us after getting out of a long relationship, still love and show concern for that person we once loved? How many of us still have that small piece in our heart that belongs to them? Remember, the FIRST CUT is the deepest...
When she walked across that street with traffic, I thought she was crazy! The woman seriously risked her life to protect a secret! Wow. She really convinced herself to believe that everything was all her fault... that she killed a woman... and really believed that if she announced it to the whole world, that somehow it would actually be true and that MH would finally get off her back! That scene with her getting hit by a car -- DAEBAK! Never seen that before in K-Drama Land! I almost stopped breathing along with MH right at that moment... great acting by both HJE and JS!
DH, that asswipe... I'm really getting tired of his holier than thou speeches! I love that the writers are balancing out both DH and MH though and making a very distinct contrast between the two!
SY-MH confrontation -- loved how he called her out. Loved how he admitted that she succeeded in getting him angry but that she didn't have to do that... because that's not the woman he knows. She has more class than that. And despite getting stabbed in the back, he's still trying to warn her not to get close to DH! Whatevs...
Last scene with MH-YJ, loveeeeeee my OTP! Love his semi-confession... but don't know how it's going to play out tomorrow. I'm nervous for him lol. I'm kind of upset that in the preview, he threatened to fire DH unless she went back to Seoul with him and she took the bait, again... for that bastard, she took the bait! Grrrr!

DH (the character, not the actor) - I hate your guts! I hate your hypocrisy, your cowardice, your pettiness! I hope when YJ finds out what you did, she'll throw you on the street and I hope you get hit by a bus... then she and MH can walk away and see how you like being left alone to die! Bye!

  4. I hope there's KISSES, and I mean PASSIONATE KISSES between MH and YJ in this drama! Lots of skinship too... I don't care if HJE's boyfriend gets jealous... she's an actress and that shouldn't stop her from doing her job! Her boyfriend needs to learn from Ji Sung who totally supports and even watches his wife's kissing scenes with other men! Can't wait for Episode 9! Almost there!

  5. EVERYONE, please remain optimistic that this drama will have a happy ending, please! I'm almost like, 90% sure that there's going to be a happy ending for our OTP though I can't say the same for that loser DH! I say this because two melodramas had happy endings last year -- NICE GUY and MISSING YOU even though the writers were really leaning towards tragic deaths for both male leads... it didn't happen because too many viewers wanted a happy ending! That's why I'm sure that YJ and MH will have their happy ending. He needs love and she has lots of love to give... I overlook all the bad things he's done to her because he thought YJ was at fault and he felt that her punishment wasn't enough... and do you blame me for overlooking it? YJ, herself, overlooks it anyways since the misunderstanding initially started because of her. Grrr... It's almost WEDNESDAY!

@lovelybluehoneyz..  RE: "before i comment further, can i know where is this TGIF??i dont want to say sumtin confidently and suddenly sumone says.."dear..TGIF is in singapore.." LOL.....my assume is in korea??"
TGIF = Thank God It's Friday (restaurant shortened name) Basically means, "YAY! It's the weekend !" It's supposed to be an exclamation of happiness and freedom in the case of a leisurely meal with friends.
The restaurant chain has been around since the 70's ...and wiki says: Friday's currently has over 920 restaurants in 61 countries (excluding the United States)
I've been to several, here in the States, and it's really a run-of-the-mill bar and burger/steak house. It's more the kind of place you go when a co-worker gets a new job and everyone goes out to drink to wish them well and put it on the company tab. It's NOT posh....and you definitely don't wear tuxes there ---ever.
I find it hilarious that the product placement is trying to *polish a squash into a golden pear* --- heeeheeee

  7. Did you guys notice that in the Episode 9 preview, MH's hair style changed since he's been dethroned? It means we've reached the mid-point of the drama -- only 8 more episodes to go. I love how in Korean Dramas, characters change their hair styles when their positions change. Please YJ, open your eyes and smell the coffee! We need another secret to be revealed this week or I'm going to pull my hair!

  8. If Rachel is Young Do's taste then why is he so interested in Eun Sang? That's why even though those two ooze chemistry in a Chuck Bass/Blair Waldorf way, she really isn't his type. She's the female version of him which is why he's interested in her but not in a romantic way. I can't ship those two even though they look good together haha.

I take back what I said in other social media networks and blogs about ES. I initially thought ES was going to be the typical "Candy" girl that doesn't stand up for herself and does what she's told all the time... I dislike weak female characters and I wasn't going to like it if ES would to be bullied throughout the whole series; however, Park Shin Hye's portrayal of ES is perfect! She's quite FEISTY and she does stand up for herself! She doesn't do what she's told but she knows her place. I love that she talks back to Rachel and maybe even Young Do when they properly introduce themselves to each other... and I love that she has this sarcastic sense of humor with Tan. So yes, I'm looking forward to the high school drama.

What is Min Hyuk's condition that he offered, given to the police officer, guard in exchange for using K Group's supplies in prison during the giving away food charity, event sponsored by Se Yeon in the prison if it's not Hye Jin's involvement in San Hee being taken away from Yoo Jung? This is the most intriguing secret of all the secrets in the drama that I want, need to know! If that, the condition, Min Hyuk's condition is in fact a secret! Or there's no such condition, it's not a secret! And/or the writer is trying to mislead us, me!

I'm not surprised Se Yeon voted yes against Min Hyuk's presidential seat, position! He has stated, told her numerous times that she's a friend to him and their marriage is solely for business! She indicated in agreement and she never once said she love, is in love with him! During her gift, present of confessing her love to, for him, unfortunately, he was distracted, left and unaware of it! He returned and asked her for it again but she refused! It's her lost and at the moment, it's impartial to show what she's capable of whether he will see, accept her love for him or not!

  11. First of all, how come MH never bothered to go through those blackbox videos from his company since K-GROUP had access to them and how come it was unrealistically so easy for DH to get access to them??? That doesn't make any sense - only in K-Drama Land...

Second of all, the nerves of DH to boast about how he got his position! Telling MH that he is nothing without his dad... what has he done to get where he is? And then to brag about how much he did to get his position... uhhhhh... are you seriously proud of killing an innocent girl and her unborn baby... letting your girlfriend take the fall for you and going to prison for it... and possibly even unintentionally killing your son and supposed-father-in-law... to get your worthless position at K-Group? Seriously, is that even something to be proud of? DESPICABLE! Is anyone not bothered with the fact that MH helped DH to climb up the social ladder... but DH is trying to take him down.. so much for "don't bite the hands that feed you" - ungrateful, much? DH thinks people like MH are so disgusting -- to think they can throw money around... well, why is DH taking the money? No one is forcing you to take it, son... and please, stop acting like you're so great now that you're a K-Group Lawyer. VOMIT. And the whole speech about "SY is your friend, right? Don't treat her like that if she's a friend." Uhhh... hypocrite! What about YJ?! How about the way he treated his girlfriend at one time/fiancee?

Third, loved MH/KS scenes! Loved the scene where MH saw YJ's scar for the first time and acts like it's nothing.. like there's nothing to be ashamed of... and like he's already seen it before and doesn't care... instead, he made a remark that the dress was too cheap :) Hehe. I bet she was touched...

Fourth, the party scene -- ohhhhh DH... how I didn't think I could hate you more but I can!!!!! DH insulted YJ (pretty much calling her a prostitute in her face) -- I don't care how long you've been with the man or how much you love him! And those pathetic tears he shed when YJ was being humiliated -- I read it as he, himself saw her as being an inferior good... a woman who didn't even value herself or love herself... how could he value her... he loved her at one point, yes... but he knew deep down inside that he wasn't a good human being anyways so why not take it all the way... he finally made it to the top... he has these fancy friends and he gets to go to fancy parties... he didn't expect to see YJ there. A reminder of his past and inabilities. BUT, how come this man MH is protecting her? It's shockingly ridiculous, actually...

Last but not least, YJ needs a wake-up call. Your oppa has left you high and dry. Please stop making excuses for him! It's so frustrating to watch her be so blindly naive! Sigh... the last scene with DH dragging her out, why did she let him drag her out? Clearly, she still sees the good in him only. I feel sick to my stomach...

  12. The writer(s) are really playing around with this DH character. He has more screen time then YJ and MH and that's saying a lot! I didn't realize that DH would turn into a Jae Hee from Nice Guy except Jae Hee was a little more blunt about what she wants whereas DH is just a coward who thinks he's doing the right thing but he's just lying to himself. I despise DH. Tomorrow's episode gives me the impression that DH is now even more worried about HIMSELF (like always). He now knows that MH knew about his relationship with YJ all along and he has been following her for the past 4 years. He knows that MH knows about San... and now DH is afraid that he's going to get exposed as being the culprit behind the hit-and-run. Seriously, the guy can give a rat's A S S about what is happening to YJ! He's even aware that there might still be a black box from that night and he needs to find it first and expose it before he gets exposed... by the way, I thought his dad had to give up his dreams because of his bad leg... why did he go all beserk on his dad about giving up his dreams and how he's trying to fulfill those dreams for his father? You kidding me, right? Go ahead and blame your problems on your parents -- well, blame your mother but your father hasn't done anything wrong. He has a bad leg, what can he do? He's still working to the best of his ability, you ungrateful s h i t... LOL...

As for MH, he's playing a game with DH... the game is, how long can you pretend to act like a Saint before I expose all your secrets? He has actually given DH many chances to come clean about that night... about his relationship with YJ... but DH still pretends not to know anything. MH hates people like that... people who act all self-righteous but will sell their loved ones out to gain higher status... people who say one thing but does another... people who say they love one but stabs that person in the back... and then there's YJ... still naive as ever! MH is sort of annoyed that YJ sees DH as being this other kind of person... whereas MH sees a selfish bastard (who he really is) and it's sad... the guy gets to take all the credit... seriously, what has DH ever done for YJ? NOTHING. MH has managed to do things for YJ we haven't even seen DH do for her!

SY is possessive but I can't deny that what she keeps telling MH is TRUE. She sounds like a b i t c h for saying it but sometimes, it's take that one person to tell it like it is for a person to really understand. The truth hurts but the truth needs to be said. MH's evil dad said a couple of episodes back that whenever a toy broke, he always bought MH a new toy... and he shouldn't have done that because that's why MH is the way he is now. In a way, SY is being a good, very honest friend... I'll give her credit for that.

Also, gotta love MH for defending his friend SY. He may not be in love with her, but he does care about her. That's why I know he can get all pissed off, strangle people, and violently shake them... but he will never back stab or KILL a person.

  13. Am I the only one who feels like our main male lead MH is not well-developed? I feel like the writers are focusing too much on DH (when there shouldn't have been that much focus on him in the first place) and they're not giving MH any depth! Right now, he's still the same -- although slowly starting to care for YJ and if the rest of the drama follows up on his process into becoming a decent human being, then I'll stop complaining here, ha. SY isn't well-developed either. I find her very one-dimensional. She's what you call FAKE. In front of her friends, she comes off as high and mighty... but behind closed doors, she has quite the temper. She's stubborn and full of pride (which is why I think MH doesn't like her that way). He's asked her many times "SY, do you really want to get married? Do you like me?" and not once has she really answered him.

  14. Obviously, DH is the key to everything! Just look at the picture posted by @lyrayoo above ^^. I know it has a significant meaning to it and maybe someone already pointed it out before but it's crucial to figuring out how the story's going to unfold. MH is blinded by the truth (he thinks YJ was responsible for the hit and run but that's not true). YJ can't tell the truth which is that she was NOT the driver, DH has nothing covering him because he knows everything! He knows the truth, he can see the truth, and he has the mouth to tell the truth but won't. He's the answer to everything. SY doesn't want to hear the truth because she doesn't care. Like how she doesn't care to listen to her friend MH when he's grieving over JH. SY doesn't care for the truth because she just wants MH. Because DH is the answer to everything, I hope the writers give us an explanation of what happened to San as well as what happened to her dad that makes sense. I still don't think MH had anything to do with it. COINCIDENCES do happen you know... BTW, I do find that Secretary kind of fishy. I feel like he's not just working for MH but also his dad. Maybe his dad wanted the Sec to get rid of JH when he finds her. I don't know... There's more to that story. JH was running and hiding for a reason. And if the writer goes down this path, YJ will become the next target. MH, however, will be able to protect YJ this time.
