The preview doesn't tell us much. It only gives a sad/bad feeling about our couples and a reason to worry.  I don't know why but I get a sad feeling when I see Kim Shin watching Eun Tak running down the stairs looking as beautiful as ever. She looks very different from when the drama started. Her clothes, her running and even her bag make her look grown up. He's probably thinking she'll be alright even if he leaves her, that's why his smile is sad.

Both Kim Shin and Kim Sun turn their backs to Wang Yeo breaks my heart. He looks so tormented. And I'm also looking forward to the sword scene with the creepy ghost. I wonder what the difference is, will Kim Shin be able to kill him this time? Somehow, I feel it will not be that simple. There must be something else we aren't aware about. Well, I just hope the cliffhanger in episode 13 will be bearable because after that we will have to wait another week.

Even our Goblin is a little disappointed we're getting only 1 episode this week. He was waiting for it anxiously.

 

But... he understands the situation and knows it's the right thing to do.

 

On a more serious note, in a way, I'm glad the episode was postponed. I see it as consideration to the fans and for the cast/crew. We know they are all very hardworking and must be very tired. Even when it was New Year they aired the episodes. They have to rest a little. Also, they can keep the high quality of the episodes, so we can enjoy it more. I hope all their hard work and efforts will not go unnoticed by the Korean viewers. I hope they will be rewarded by high ratings and even break records (they really deserve it).

You know, yesterday I was talking with a friend of mine about the memories issue and I said I'm worried about it. She dissed all the memories they share from episodes 1-12 and told me, "What memories do they have? Maybe Canada memories but even that wasn't all that great". Of course, I was really pissed off. It took me some time to cool off. But after thinking about it, I told myself: "Why do care I about other people opinions when I can't change it anyway? I love the drama, that's all I care about."

This moment was amazing! I love the special effects and the intense colors as a symbol to show that deity who reside inside Deok Hwa is indeed very powerful. Excellent job, Goblin team! The mystery around Deok Hwa character was revealed in such a grand way. It lived up to the expectations. Also, I knew from the beginning that Yook Sung Jae is a good actor, but this scene left no doubt. It's a big challenge to play two different identities in one scene but he managed to pull it off very successfully. He is talented young actor with a bright future ahead.

I'm sorry to cut your post but I agree. I hope the Eunuch story will end in episode 13, the sword plot will end in episode 14-15. That way we can have at least one episode after 10 years later so we can see the future of our 4 characters and not only in the last 30 minutes. That way it won't feel rushed.

This moment was painful. I admire Eun Tak for giving Kim Shin time to mourn. When she goes to him, she hugs him and comforts him with touching words that come from her heart, from her own experience. When she lost her mother, she had no one to tell her those words yet she grew up to be a caring and positive young lady. During many years he lived, he also had to deal with many deaths by himself. It's not only destiny that helped them find each other and made them fall in love. They also share an deep connection based on mutual respect and support. That's one of the reasons I'm against their memories being erased. I don't want them to lose that special connection.

It's almost certain that it's going to happen and I'm very depressed about it! Even if they meet again as the same people, it won't be the same without the memories. The first love, the first kiss, the first hug, the first confession and so on. They felt so much happiness during those first times that it seems heartbreaking for them to forget all about it. Personally, I will feel the this kind of ending is not perfect as I wished it to be. I don't care how they get their memories back. It could be by a touch, kiss, the Deity generosity or even by magic. It doesn't matter as long as they remember everything. And I hope it will not be a rushed ending where they meet in the last five minutes of the drama and stare at each other. That will really make me angry!

I forgot to say... I love the new OSTs!  I didn't expect them to be released today. What a lovely surprise in the morning!

I have to confess, I still didn't watch episode 12 properly with subtitles. I guess I'm too afraid after all the crying.

Nevertheless, the last scene is absolute perfection for me. I can't get over how amazing it was in every possible way.

I believe Kim Shin will not harm Wang Yeo. He lived for so long and he must have learned to how to control his emotions. Let's say, he will fight him. Can he really kill him? And if he can, will he do it? I don't think so. He's much a greater man than that. He has lived with Grim Reaper and he is well aware that although Wang Yeo and Grim Reaper are same person, the feelings they share are different. He saw Grim Reaper in his weakness, lost, lonely and sad. Also, the past Kim Shin made a promise to protect Wang Yeo.

His expression and his words tell me he is mostly in distraught. He catches him by the neck but then again he greets and calls him Your Majesty. All feelings he carried for 900 years are finally erupting. Yes, he is angry and he has right to be. He was accused falsely and was executed along with his whole family. He needs to forgive and in the years he lived as goblin, he did that already. He just needs to realize and admit it. That probably won't be that easy for him. I am eager to watch the next episode to see how it will turn out.

It took me so long to write down my thoughts because I'm amazed. Once again a very solid episode with many happenings, that it literally gave me a headache. Both my head and my heart hurt badly. With so little fun scenes and so many serious scenes, sadness and crying, it's understandable.

At this point, I don't see how happy ending without memory loss or incarnation is possible. I can't see any hope or a way to solve it especially after I saw that Ji Eun Tak already losing her ability to see ghosts. She seemed so lifeless and downhearted today. Well, it's not just her but everyone else too. This entire situation has taken a toll on their lives. The deity plans seem very cruel to me right now. Why does he keep playing with their lives? After all they've gone through… is it still not enough? Even the god of birth thinks it's more than enough.

Now, about the evil ghost, I think the way to get rid of him is for the Goblin and Grim Reaper to unite and kill him not with a sword but with their bond. They have to show him, that all the strong hatred and lust for power within him will not take him far anymore because they've learned to forgive, so his purpose in this life is over. Next, hell awaits him. We have to see what the Grim Reaper lady will do.

When Deok Hwa grandfather died, it was heartbreaking! I couldn't stop crying. And afterwards, with Kim Sun and Wang Yo, it was another heartbreaking scene. Also, when Kim Shin found the loyal warrior, it felt like closure before his death. I said I'm willing to accept sadness for now but I didn't imagine how sad it can be. My concern for the couples and the tension exhausted me emotionally.

The walk scene at the end was most epic today. All those 900 years emotions… wow! It was acted well, the camera angle and the background music fit perfectly. I'm in awe to everyone involved in making this drama.

I just finished watching the episode with subtitles. A lot of things happened, but what leaves a big impression are the awesome things. Just like how Sunny discovered the truth about Grim Reaper, how Kim Shin saw Eun Tak in his past through her teacher that was reincarnated (somewhat similar to how he saw Eun Tak future in Quebec through the waiter) or even how Kim Shin described Smartphone. I couldn't stop laughing. Those unique ideas are making the writing brilliant.

  

The secrets are being reveled one after the other, bringing further developments to the plot and growth for the characters. And I have to say was so relieved to know that Secretary Kim in not reincarnation of the evil adviser. I hope that evil rots in hell; he sure deserves to be there for a long time. Our two couples will have difficult times ahead. Grim Reaper worries me. I wonder how he'll react when he learns he is the king and what will Kim Shin do. Looks like next episode will reveal more secrets about Deok Hwa. I can't wait to find out who he is.  

Our sweet and touching OTP, as usual, I love every scene of them. They always make me cry and laugh. I just love it when they tease each other.

That evil eunuch is scary as hell. I was really terrified just to look at him. But what is he? A wanderer soul that turned into devil or something like that? When they showed us his fingers and tongue, it was seriously disgusting! He is one disgusting creature, I would have fainted if I was JET! That twist, wow! I didn't expect that! Damn it, do you realize our beautiful romantic drama just turned to horror drama?
