    Tbh, it's disappointed to hear that they wont released the dvd....i thought it would take at least one year to release the dvd since as far as i remember reply 1997 really took about 1 year to release the dvd...

    Sorry for my ignorance, since when they decide to release the dvd based on votes at daum cafe? was it a routine to do like that since ages ago? i thought every kdrama will release its dvd no matter how long it takes....is there any kdrama didn't make it to dvd because of the votes? sounds like doesnt make sense to me....i couldnt think of the logic for not releasing the dvd if lack of votes....if they worried about very little buyers for the dvd....they should release it by batches....as long as they release the dvd, there should be buyers and they would get the profits in return. It's just disappointed because not many can understand daum cafe without english to vote, plus not many international fans visiting the sites, including soompi.....i think most of people watch it on tv and then, that's it....they like the drama but no further action because a lots of commitments in life.

    Sorry for the long rant :sweatingbullets: really upset if they finally decided not to release the dvd....ive been waiting since forever :tears:

    If only they could nominate han ye ri as new actress award in baeksang....her fighting skill is amazing but i believe they judge every perspective of acting not just in terms of action...but yet, i still think she is one of awesome actresses.

    Can we vote online for baeksang awards? or purely based on professional judgement?

    I accidentally watched Master: God of Noodles and yeah, miss the Six flying dragons whenever the same cast appeared in the drama....total SIX of them are not a small amount indeed

    This article somehow makes me feel sad....seems like Yoo Ah In dont really enjoy being at the top.....he must be feel lonely being at the different level of acting. I hope he wont discourage to expand his acting career just because its getting lonelier......eventhough he is already there.... being at the top (i think)...............

    The mystery swordman is actually a lady named cheok sa gwang aka yoonrang. Her character will appear in ep20++. She is awesome.

    There is no kissing scene between bangwon and his wife but there is a hugging and bed scene (but only having a discussion on the bed, lol)

    There is a kissing scene between bangwon and the commoner girl boonyi, bittersweet as they wont end up together

    Another kissing scene by Bangji and yeonhee, their relationship is the most heartwrecking, lol

    the priest jukryong  is one of skilled swordsmen

    the siblings mom will appear later and she plays a very significant role in this drama

     

    @oohhkkay how much does it cost for OST album? i probably will go to Korea sometime in late May (if got enough money).....i hope the album wont be sold out yet by that time!!! I want both DVD for drama and making or am i being greedy myself? :sweatingbullets:

     

    I hope Six Flying Dragons will get all the awards for any upcoming award events!!!!!!!!!!! let's cross fingers!!!

    hi guys, how are you coping with the withdrawal?

    good news, they released the main ost (compilation) on 4th april. Only TWO new songs 나만뜻 by warak and 하날히 브리시니  by Joo In Ro and Kim Soo Jin ft Lee Bong Geun, the rest are recycled ones.....the english title for background music also available now....seems like everyone including bangwon, boonyi, ddangsae, moohyul, sambong and even cho young got their own theme...too bad no theme for taejo and yeonhee....yoonrang and ha ryun's theme also were not included.

    I somehow feel glad to know that they also could not seem to move on....6 months of filming....wont be easy for them to forget the moments

    i also agree yoo ah in and shin se kyung are having good chemistry on screen but not much during BTS except during the award event last year!

    lol.....this thread seems like dead already....either all of fans are still in withdrawal or already moved on to the next drama......

    Hello guys....................

    Watched the final two episodes and my thought exactly the same as you guys here....

    There is actually no need for me to repeat them all over again

    But just same like you guys...im having the withdrawal here too

    Ep 49 was focusing more on moohyul and bangwon relationship, also the painful fate of boonyi and bangwon.

    I seriously could not stand the pain bangwon had to endure....keep losing people on his side....the story more like one vs 5 other dragons

    but as bangwon mentioned in final episode, both moohyul and boonyi are like the wind....they are not against neither embrace him

    and it was frustrated initially to find that bangwon and boonyi wont end up together until the death. they love each other but boonyi dont want to marry him because of concubine position while bangwon dont want to marry her because of her preference towards banchon people. I for once really angry at these two for being egoistic and choose their principles of life rather than living together

    But as final episode revealed, their love story is just epic....eventhough they didnt end up living together. Im glad that the production team keeps boon yi alive until the end and dies naturally. At least, she not being killed by someone and we all were making fuss that she will die in the end, lol. Yes, she died but naturally by the side of sambong's grave and the thought of bangwon. Just thinking of the ending really makes me teary. The whole plot and story was beautifully well written, cant really thank the writers enough. I love how they didnt forget to give some plot twisted with ha ryun and monk juk ryong. With all the focusing on six dragons, who would have thought the scar on ha ryun arm was actually a moomyung's. and monk jukryong as a peddler...i believe they tend to make it a bigger impact because some foreigner were casted but not appeared in the drama....may be got cut as no time left until final....they skipped the second strife also but then expected with the no. of episode left

    Nam da reum as young king sejong also expected as his performance was great in the previous episode and i believe the production team wont waste his talent as a great actor indeed. We all already know how great yoo ah in in six flying dragons. As i mentioned previously, he is on different level of acting. Poor those who keep bashing him for not seeing what we all have been seeing in him.

    As for character development, i think moohyul got the biggest changes there. Thank god, they didnt forget to bring his end credit title....but i just a little bit disappointed he was credited as king sejong bodyguard (as i havent watched tree with deep roots yet) not as bangwon's as he has been protecting bangwon for whole time previously. I guess that's why bangwon never telling moohyul when he's killing poeun. Their relationship is just complicated enough and it tooks 44 episodes for them to give end credit title for moohyul. But nevertheless, everything was great, the flashback in ep 49 on how everyone initially happy but later becoming not happy as the story goes along, and the final last end credit for every dragons, they are all fanservice treasure for us. Plus multiple pictures from production team and crew are just precious!!

    Boonyi never changed since the beginning. She is always the pictorial of atypical women who got her own principles. Despite that, we can see how she actually looks alot like bangwon. In the end, both of them are alone. They choose the pathway as i started to understand the reason why she cant get married to bangwon is actually sambong, a person she admired the most in her life. The moment she hugs young sejong is really painful, tearjerking and heartbroken. Deep inside, she really loves bangwon and care about him but she cant show that because it's painful to proceed to the next level of relationship.

    While bangwon is just the same as her, the final scene his last words "is there any romance left in me?" i think that's the most ironic statement ever. While some might think what he did is for future generation, i believe deep inside bangwon, he did it solely for boonyi. I'm glad that only moohyul knows how bangwon really feel about boonyi from the beginning till the end. It would be more affectionate if boonyi called bangwon's name and bangwon called boon-ah instead of leader boonyi but in terms of formality and historical facts, those cannot be done or shown.

    I love how they show us most of the scenes are totally the same like they did in queen seondeok.....i'm a big fan of queen seondeok but i think i will love six flying dragons more in the future (will keep marathoning after they released the dvd boxset) Another great saeguk series after seven years of great saeguk......the journey totally worth it...will definitely look forward to their future work....i hope they wont failing like reply /answer me trilogy.....

    thank you so much to the production team for the hard work they put for the drama. Will definitely pay back and supporting them by buying the dvd (hopefully they will be released it sooner than expected) i hope they release the yalli song by yohan too.....that was a great song piece especially when they played it on the drama. Too bad if they forgot the song this time. Now, i'm on the same ride as you guys, will be watching tree with deep roots!! Hopefully, not disappointing even though i somehow envy those who watching tree with deep roots first before six flying dragons because i believe the feeling must be more thrilling compared those who watched the other way round.

    If boonyi gonna die in the end, that means no surprise there. As most of us already expected someone will die and the most likely person is boonyi.

    I for once wanted a happy ending to be honest with twisted plot or boonyi remained alive. But looking at how most of saeguk dramas rarely have happy ending (the only saeguk i think with happy ending is probably the great seer), so the probability to get a happy ending is very low. But i believe they would give us at least a big impact/ deep message aka lesson learnt from the final. At least, if the ending is not as expected, the past 48 episodes already gave us such a big impression.

    I dont know why.....i got a new job starting next week after more than 6 months of unemployment....i should feel happy but somehow i feel very sad deep inside because next week gonna be the final week for our beloved drama, six flying dragons. I hope the withdrawal wont take that long. Will definitely buy DVD boxset once its been released but usually it would take one year for it be seen on retail.

    There is few discussion between bangwon and leader moomyung, the first time when they give 3 questions to each other and probably another one but yes, i agree they didnt really progress much in the series...only for few moments and then for the last few episodes we only focused on bangwon vs sambong lol

    it would be good if song joong ki can be a cameo but we heard no news regarding that plus he might be busy with his latest drama but i heard it was a pre-produced drama? anyone would be fine for me as long as they can give a big impact on the final.

    anyone here pro-moomyung? may be its just me but i somehow think moomyung great cause is relevant at some point. At least thats how the world working right now. Of course i have no idea how their prophecy can cause stabilization but their principle to have private land is what actually happening in this world right? Those who work and give more effort would receive the benefits. Those are rich get all the properties. On how they get rich that depends on their effort. And so thats how the society has been created. It might look unfair because poor people could not have the chance to own private land just because they have no power and money but that's how the world being setup. If a land was given freely to them, would they really use it in a good way and not just being a lazy butt waiting for government to feed them? Without determination, no success could be obtained. That's one thing i agree with moomyung. They help bangwon and lee in gyum, so i think they are not really a bad person. But they tried to kill king taejo so of course thats not acceptable. Their great cause however would create a dangerous world eventually. I think thats why both bangwon and sambong wanted to vanish them because greed can kill but surprisingly thats how the world is practically working right now. Sigh. It's a heavy topic indeed.

    Guys, two more pages until 300!!! Lets keep posting lol

    As much as i feel its unfair for bangji to have those who are close to him die one by one (yeonhee, sambong, palbong dad).....i just dont want him to take any revenge....its not easy for bangwon to kill his own teachers either

    I heard some people said bangwon will die in the end lol are they going to make the ending like queen seondeok....of course he will die naturally but would be better if final scene is the enthronement of taejong but then there is a film shooting at sejong room so im afraid thats not the case though....i also anticipate whos going to be sejong!!! Would they bring nam dae reun again or would they bring ghost yeonhee and sambong too? Since they bring ghost youngkyu and honginbang except no ghost giltaemi lol whatever it is i hope they are satisfying!!!

    Hello everyone....

    Ive watched both latest episodes and next week gonna be the last week for us....how sad

    Ep 47 ....everything in it is so tragic....yeonhee's death scene is tragically shown but yet beautiful so bittersweet as expected. I didnt expect they would give us a fanservice by the kissing scene though lol awkward for me because we all know yeonhee gonna die but still got time for kissing scene? but then, thank you yoomi unnie for the great performance!! i never regret become your fan since rooftop prince muahhhhh love love love.

    The moment sambong died is sooooooooooo sad...i feel like crying eventhough im 100% on bangwon side....i actually expected more on his last words before he died but his last words makes bangwon decided to stab him at that moment...

    I thought cheok sa gwang commited suicide but seems like she decided to take revenge there....though i will be happier if she just did the first....her role in the last 2 episode must be significant enough that her character still alive until now....after all, the production team even gave her the end credit title in previous episode (not even moohyul get it) so there must be a reason why her character still remained alive...i couldnt think anyone can kill her anyway since she is the best swordman thats why i prefer she commited suicide instead of getting killed but then death can happened in many ways...

    Ep 48 is the madness of bangwon....i never expect they would show us the moment boonyi saw bangwon killing sambong in front of her eyes....that's really heartbreaking....boonyi must be having inner conflict there....to support bangwon or not to support him anymore....but of course family comes first, so she saves her brother from killing each other.

    The moment bangwon entered the room with trembling hands and then comforted by ghost young kyu....that's just teary....totally reminds me of queen seondeok scene where the adolescent deokman is having a trembling hands too and then her imaginary adopted mother came comfort her and asking "waegure"...i really like this scene when watching queen seondeok and now.these scenes really resemble to each to other....i cant thank enough to the production team for this great awesome show

    and now everyone seems like going against bangwon....bangji and cheok sa gwang both want to kill bangwon.....but we know he will survive for whatever reasons....this guy just wont die easily...just like what boonyi said....he had so many near to death moment in this drama and the latest when his father put the sword next to bangwon neck....ive been thinking this guy must be living so hard that his throat always get threatened by the sword edge but yet he still alive till the end....such an admirable character indeed....may be they will show us in the end no matter how much he has accomplished, he will be alone eventually.....just like what the writers showed us in queen seondeok

    now seeing the trend one by one character dies in each episode is just cruel....like what they did in queen seondeok....im not sure if im gonna see tree with deep roots if they show the same trend...but maybe ill watch just for the sake of six flying dragons withdrawal lol

    i agreed with some previous opinions saying that bangji character is weak and always hesitant....he might be the best swordman and got the courage if something triggered him...but its shown since his childhood, whatever he decided is already too late....i wonder what makes him give up in the end to kill bangwon....i thought it was boonyi who stopped him as she said "you want me to lose you too??" but then suddenly he wants to take revenge by using moomyung as an excuse? errrr....i thought he never supported moomyung but maybe because family comes first now he is siding with his mom? hahaha so now it turns for bangwon vs bangji next week....thrilling because final week plus the second strife also coming how they gonna compact them all in just two episodes....i hope no rush or hanging unanswered question after final next week pleaseeeeeeeee

    Yoo ah in, he has been improving much, very very much from his previous works. His acting is just on different level. First time saw him in 2009 from drama strongest chilwoo and then jang ok jung and now sado and veteran...wow his emotions is just on different skills. He is kind of versatile person in real life...i dont know if its just me but even his speech in real life also brings out unexplained emotions...

    Sorry for my too long post this time....ending is nearing and im sure we all have the same feeling about it!!
