omg someone else remembers 49 days?! YES. what was that ending?!? WHY YOU DO THAT TO HER AND THE AUDIENCE (p.s. I would not have remembered this show until you mentioned it and this memory is making my blooood boillllll
). I will stick to the 49 days fanfic from back in the day thank you very much.
yep fresh in my mind - Big Mouth. the moment the water hit her, I knew she was gonna get something but not DEATH. geez. it felt like the writers did not know how else to make it impactful besides killing her off. cheap skates.
Jirisan - glad I'm not the only one who was mind boggled with her surviving on a mountain in a wheelchair with no help.
mind boggling is an understatement for the endings for Memories of Alhambra and Vagabond - these ones feel liek they were left open due to the writers actually couldn't decide / think of an ending...
Rooftop Prince; agreed that the initial prince was left alone! and sometimes I feel reincarnations aren't the same person!! especially if the character loses their memory - I always feel torn whether that still counts as the same person
Vincenzo; still love this show but the romance ending was like tossed together last minute just to pacify us. at least build on their feelings a bit more...
I would like to add The King: Eternal Monarch to this list; its ending defied logic so bad that it was mind boggling LOL

I loved My Girl. It was one of those kdramas that I could re-watch multiple times cos their love story was light-hearted and easy to watch. Their chemistry was great!
Thought nobody would remember this kdrama tbh. I feel like whenever I mention My Girl, ppl think the movie My Sassy Girl...

- not K-dramaing at the moment. looking to start Jirisan when it finishes / close to finish releasing.
- Caught up with the Walking Dead and started watching Money Heist
- Shang Chi was great! It was a tad weird seeing Fala Chen, Tony Leung and Yuen Wah speak Mandarin tho. Used to seeing them in HK tv shows / movies.
- super random but I was watching a lot of Tom Felton's FB videos - I like how he fans over the Harry Potter franchise despite being a huge part of it. Him and Tom Hiddleston are my fav 'villain' actors - lots of charm in interviews etc.
Listening
:
- went back to listening to It Started with a Kiss (Taiwanese version)'s OST again. even after so mahy years, it's still so nice.
- binging through Honeyworks' songs / MVs since they released a new MV of the original characters (wedding!! woooot but also sad it seems their story is ending). just rlly love the way the stories connect
Random thoughts/ feels

- need a good horror movie that I haven't seen yet.
- ceebs work - who invented the concept of money. WHOOOOOO.
- when will Shinhwa make a comeback?! I need their variety show appearancessss. re-watching Shinhwa Broadcast is not enough!

How did you start watching K-dramas?
My fam were in HK visiting fam and there were tons of stalls with cheaps VCDs / DVDs, so we bought them to watch at night.
Was there a specific K-drama that made you stay?
Our first kdrama was My Lovely Kim SamSoon, but the one that made us cry and leave an impression during our trip was Sassy Girl ChunHyang. Our grandmother came out of her room and saw us crying while watching it and laughed at us.

I loved those pick your own adventure books! I used to read Goosebumps with those special editions where you pick your own ending and read all the diff options anyway haha. Such a creative idea to get community engagement and it was rlly cool to see diff ppl's writing styles and ideas.
Very cool ending bt nuuu wookie can't be a cheaterrrr!! Enjoyed reading all the options too hehe.

Pierce Brosnan is definitely my fav James Bond portrayal / image.
I'll watch the new James Bond movie because I like the franchise, not because I love Daniel Craig. I didn't ever find Daniel Craig that attractive even tho James Bond is meant to be a babe... but he's still cool / seems nice in interviews.

I remember watching this on a vcd/ dvd with dodgy subs lmao idk if it was the subs but I didn't love it like everyone else did but it was okay! worth the watch, it was the first one that I watched with a 'modern royalty' kinda theme.
