I haven't been watching everything, so it's hard to say for certain, but...
The series doesn't look like it has a planned plot-line.It seems like the writer is letting the short-term plots go wherever her mood takes it.
The drama characters' personalities and temperaments also vary much more than is usual in dramas or fiction.
Hwang Ma Ma seems to be becoming more and more selfish and petty.His actions and plans have no consideration for Ro Ra or her family, only his own desires.He resorted to taking credit for Seol Hui's idea of having Ro Ra's character Na Mu die...And he's even using poison tongue gossip against Seol Hui... ... with added clumsy lies that Ro Ra corrected her mom's misunderstanding immediately upon hearing.
Seol Seol Hui does lie a bit too much... but none of his lies are malicious.And he's showing genuine care and concern for Ro Ra's well being as well as her thoughts and feelings.

Of course, it's hard to say what the characters will end up like... ... since many of them have changed from how they were initially introduced.) -
I think the course of the drama is open to debate... with the outcome up in the air.Some of the characters, like Seol Seol Hui & Da Ji, ... weren't even conceived of when the drama started.Even now, they haven't been included in the drama descriptions of many popular sites not written in Hangeul.The initial synopsis were based on the incorrect assumption that...... the drama had something to do with the "Princess Aurora (2005)" movie.
The way writer Im is giving feet of clay, to both Hwang Ma Ma and Seol Seol Hui, indicates that she hasn't made up her mind on the eventual "Prince".Ji Yeong's apparent change in character seems to indicate that...... even her initial concept for the relationships of the two girls were changed.
It makes for interesting speculations about the direction writer Im is taking this drama.Even the eventual OTP seems to be up in the air.The blurry figure in Ro Ra's dream could even be a new character... ... as another suitor for Ro Ra.)The hair style looks a little different than those of Ma Ma or Seol Hui. -
The last time I actually liked a writer Im male character was Young Guk from "Assorted Gems".
Her male characters have been getting more and more petty & small minded.I don't see a character in "Princess Aurora" that can be called "A Man among Men".
Hwang Ma Ma was described as perfectionist and finicky... but I only see him as petty and selfish.Seol Suk seems to have better character and personality... but as DramaOK says, he lies too much.
I like writer Im's dialogues, but it's difficult to appreciate without full understanding, or at least decent subs.)I'm curious to see the development for Da Ji, because I remember Dan Gong Ju fondly. -

I have a feeling Ma-ma understands Chinese, and is just stringing Ro-ra along w/ his questions of what she said.To me, it looks like he gets a kick out of teasing her and putting her in awkward situations.)
BTW...Another Im trademark is bodily functions humor and bathroom scenes.Today's special... pregnancy constipation & toilet assault. -
