Kang Myung was a general for the royal family of Balhae, you could see that he was impress and could spot all the maneuvers that Wang So did while trying to pretend he is useless at fighting Kyung, although he does not let on or tell anyone else what he suspect. -

It hasn't been made completely and fully clear, but...
Wang So's wife, Hwang Bo Yeo Won, is his half sister...
... different mothers, but same father... King Taejo 918–943
Wang So's half brother, Wang Uk (WangWook), is his brother-in-law at the same time... is his wife's full brother.
LOL...
Talking about keeping power in the family.
The reason why most dynasties die out. :)) =)) -

@LavelyShai said: Something puzzled me when I saw episode 3. Both Yeo Won & Wang Wook said that Shin Yool looked like [her], but was so different. If they do recognize Shin Yool from the days before Balhae was overtaken, why didn't she remember them or does anyone think she's pretending because Yeo Won seemed pretty bothered by it for a while.

Park Shin Hye is somewhat pretty, but what makes her truly beautiful is how well she acts.
I'm wondering if there's a clause in her contract that stipulates that her character has to complimented as "pretty/beautiful" numerous times. :))
I haven't counted, but In Ha calls herself pretty all the time...
... and a lot of the characters also often call her pretty.
It's like a brainwashing regimen to make everyone think, or at least say, that Park Shin Hye is pretty. :)) -
docster6 said: The scene I enjoyed the most was the 4 new interns' first glimpse of the press room. The more experienced occupant, a young woman, killed a cockroach with her bare hand, then wiped her hand on her jeans, then picked up some popcorn to eat with the same hand. LOL. It was meant to gross the audience out and it worked perfectly. Along with the zombie scene near the front of the police station, the unbearable working conditions are perhaps over dramatized? Or maybe not?

The two "mysteries" don't really click as fully revealed with the known information:
1) The murdered hoobaes & the missing sunbae.
It's an assumption that Dal Po's brother killed the hoobaes, based on his conversation with the sunbae he trapped.
His shaking hand as he heard the news report about the dead hoobaes may just be his shock that the hoobaes were dead.
The big shocker may be that his conversation w/ the sunbae was actually true, that the sunbae killed his hoobaes.
The case would now be complicated by the fact that his messing with the phone locations is covering up the real truth.
The time count down is just another way of keeping track of how long the sunbae was trapped in the manhole.
A man can survive without water for about 4 days... and we don't really know if there was water at the bottom of the manhole.
So Dal Po's brother may just be trying to get a confession, and inadvertently complicated a murder with his zeal for 'truth'.
Dal Po's friend, the detective, may have occupational 6th sense in noticing something that haven't been fully revealed to viewers.
2) The woman died from overexercising.
The facts are fairly simple.
The assumptions may not be true at all.
It seems like most are accepting that she exercised to slim down and get pretty.
No one seems to be asking why her daughter wasn't notified and called to the hospital/morque.
The woman's motive may very well have to do with getting her daughter back.
Dal Po may very well have noticed something in the CCTV footage and went incommunicado to check it out.
Sending the CCTV footage may very well be to test his cap's ability to notice details and also to check his integrity. -
czakhareina said: I love the way the brother turned out.. hahaha okay that sounded a little sadistic and psychotic. But, somehow I totally understand why he went dark and killer. makes of an interesting dynamic between the two brothers.I know, not most people would have gone dark other than those with inner psychos in them, and as they say two wrong can't make a right. So what he is doing is wrong. And generally any killing he would do now would not absolve his anger and hurt with his dads wrongful death and the subsequent tragic loss of his mom and brother, but I think his sense of deprived justice would be satisfied in the killing he is doing. I think this is his sense of justice, a justiced denied for him and his family. and I guess for him is better than being hurt, angry and resentful always.
Anyway the two lives of the brothers could not have been so different. They both feel resentment and anger but they have gone through different experiences and now different paths to get to one goal. Dalpo has a family who made him care and grounded and for all those years lived without 'tainted' name of his dad attached. His brother got the short end of the rope, with living a life without a family and living with a murdered attached to him and with people accusing him. And now it seems like they have one goal, to get Justice for their dad. but they could not be more different. Dalpo is going to tell about his dad tragic and unjust end while hyung is killing off who he feels wronged them. I can't wait for when the brother would meet. I am sure it would be an additional tragedy but still I hope the drama would give a little happy moments for the brother before having it reveled how hyung got dark. -

tc23 said: we cant really blame in ha for defending the pinocchio man because she's the one who would know very well how pinocchio symptoms really is. Besides, she doesn't even know that they were talking about dal po's father case n it hurts dal po deeply. N we cant totally blame dal po for getting pissed off over the pinocchio conversation because that pinocchio man's words cause their family shattered. Do u guys think hae myung n jae myung will reunite in the next eps? There's a line i heard from a paranormal documentary that i think suits the situation very well. What u can c may not be real n what is real u may not c.

A HAPPY ENDING!!!
This time...
No 'Byeontae Ahjussi' allusion to massage parlor 'Happy Ending'!
... except this explicit denial of non-allusion. :)) -
Very nice wrap up to the series.
Gunny & Miyoung having a backyard picnic with their twins.
Gunny reading to the twins about the story of his meeting the princess and finally marrying her and having twins.
End of the storybook.
"And they were very happy."
"They lived happily ever after." -
OK...
I only caught part of the Sera-Daniel-Mom scene, but...
Sera grew up not knowing she was adopted.
Mom finally told her that she was an orphan, but it doesn't matter.
Sera thanked Mom for raising her.
Mom said that's right; She is Sera's "Mom".
So...
This 'mom' raised Sera as her true daughter, not like the despicable Taiwan mom that raise a substitute to realize her ambition.
All in all, I like that this Mom-Daughter are not despicable like the Taiwan version. -
They're finally in bed... wrapped around each other. )
.
.
.
and the scene switched to grandma talking to her deceased husband. :))
( she was telling her about hamo-hamo and her hopes for a great-grandchild )
.
.
.
back to the lovers playing "rice-barley wrap" all night long.
