I think it's because China/Japan/South Korea have an obsession with weight and being thin. Yang Mi, Zhao Liying, etc have gotten the same nit picks.

I'm loving this silly drama way too much. I can't believe I just marathoned through all 10 episodes. Episode 11 preview looks hilarious.

lol. i love when he tells yibo to be kinder. i seen clips of him asking yibo if he's human. XD. boys will always be boys
. xiao zhan probably got his revenge during one of the interviews where yibo was talking about fear of ghost and dark. xiao zhan kept on adding in creepy comments. yibo looks so disturbed. hahaha.

it would be hilarious if they could do the stealing chicken scene. it would make my day. jiang cheng got to hug wei ying, don't understand why they can't just give us one small hug between wei ying and lan zhan.

@JoyceDreamer I am assuming from the current trend of episodes, we are going to be in flashbacks for a bit until Wei Ying dies. I'm hoping we at least get 15+ episodes in present day. I would like to see present day wangxian. The book was like 80% flashbacks so...we're going to be in the past for a bit...

For Ying Luo and Fu Heng ship. They were on Happy Camp and they did a mini mv/skit/special cut Fu Heng and Ying Luo got married. Fu Heng, Ying Luo and Fuca said it's their dream for Ying Luo and Fu Heng to get married. lol.

@YuZhouHao I find this list helpful with learning Chinese characters. It is the most common 5000 characters used in newspaper, novels, and everyday use https://abcmandarinmission.files.wordpress.com/2015/05/first-5000.pdf. This list is useful coupled with Google translator and looking at their different forms when paired with another character. I took a few years of Chinese and found the 5000 characters a good refresher years later when I have forgotten most of what I have learned (LOL). If I had known, I would've studied diligently. Also grammar https://resources.allsetlearning.com/chinese/grammar/Main_Page. Chinese idioms is a must. They're used a lot in novels.

LGX knows where the money is at (LOL). Liying has a huge fandom and almost all her dramas guaranteed hits. Glad he didn't turn it down. Can't imagine another actor playing YWY...tho sometimes I see Mark's face just because they share the same voice actor. LOL.

They're 5 years apart - 2010 WOH and 2015 Untamed. Xianxia and wuxia novels/dramas are usually more or less follow the same themes - good/evil, light/dark, chosen hero, spirits/ghost, clan/sect rivalry, holy grail item/manual/power, etc.
