  1. It's a long one ... sorry... Opps ! “Pressure cooker", I've been there. Same as Deng Wei's situation, of course in a different field. I avoided argument, because it was pointless, no solution. I could feel many eyes looking down at me, as if I have surrendered. Sigh... Nobody was on my side, I had only myself. Using my brains, I presented out-of-the-box evidence, thus proved my skills. I won, and it felt good. But, I never want to go through that again, the headaches, facing people, sleepless nights, etc… At one point, I almost lost hope … Scary ~ Deng Wei might have felt the same. He kept silence. But, actually he was fighting in his own way. I recall his top saying "Stop the fickxxing war !". He is very strong indeed. With his talent and skills, he won many hearts in such a short time. Diamonds, endorsement, magazines, etc .... Bravo !!! 🎉 I don’t have parents, so I know very well what alone means. (I grew up with scholarships from 1 bank and 2 governments …hehehe…) I am so glad that he has loving parents whom support him unconditionally. Even so, I hope he never have to go through such pressure again. Also, like you said, I hope he has someone close and trustworthy, who sincerely listen to his worries. Deng Wei, Stay you and Take care always. 🥰 Deng Wei’s endorsement. Perhaps, one from Huawei in the future. I aim to decorate my room with a life size Deng Wei’s Huawei promotional standee. I hope Deng Wei's Huawei Series will be my latest project which I named “Tushan Jing”. I don’t have any say in marketing, but when I am done, I will mention why the name “Tushan Jing”. Who knows, marketing people might get curious, and they approach Deng Wei, and he accepts. If 1 day, it comes true, (I doubt I will ever meet Deng Wei, as designers like myself, we are only back stage people.), it will make me very happy, as if I am a tiny part of Deng Wei’s world. Happy diamond dream to me. 💎 I just named my new stallion, Tushan Jing. Here, usually, a horse is given an English name. I guess none of my equestrian members watch LYF, so they were curious “What? Tushan Jing?” Well, the rest is history. Yup! I influenced them to watch LYF. Let's see if they too become Deng Wei's fan. 💎 Tushan Jing aka Deng Wei’s excellent acting, created a soft spot in my heart. As if, I could feel the sincerity in his acting, it's refreshing. Tushan Jing is an epitome of green forest, whom I could go to and relax from harsh worldly reality. I am looking forward to Deng Wei’s upcoming characters. Be rooting you from afar. Fly high Deng Wei !!! Note : XL reminds me of Jonathan Harker, the Count Dracula in American drama 2013, Dracula. The character is portrayed by Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Perhaps, similar masochistic-ish character, hence not so much impact on me. Anyway, Tan Jianci displays “pain”, after he lost 2 lives to kill the bug, is impressive. CX reminds me of King Alfred, portrayed by David Dawson in British drama, The Last Kingdom 2015-2018. I have seen similar King-ish characters, thus not new to me.
  2. @hush puppy Yes, you are right. I did some digging. When the book was published, YaoLiu team 80%-YaoJing team 20%. The airing of S1 , the split became YaoLiu team 60%-YaoJing team 40%. (Please remember that this is without Tushan Jing's special characteristics). After S2, it changed back to the novel ratio. It's not a surprise as the end of S1 is the worst arc for Jing. In S2, Jing's highlights were modified and shifted to CX and XL. On top of that, added scenes showing XL's inner thoughts, eliminates reading between the lines of his feelings towards XY, really helps hammer home his character. So, it is natural that the slant in favor of YaoLiu. Even so, with S2's modified version, I strongly believe that if Jing is not Deng Wei, it could have been 95% YaoLiu, 5% YaoJing. So, 80%-20%, it is already amazing ! By the way, I am finally free to watch Till The End of The Moon. Another step to Deng Wei's drama land. 😉 Note : I obtained the ratio from fandom FB, etc.
  3. LYF was my 1st Chinese novel. LYF was my 1st Chinese drama too. I stumbled on LYF drama about 3 months ago. I was disappointed in House of Dragon season 2, and so decided to drop it. While browsing for a similar series, a list of “Lost You Forever” topics appeared, they were intense, and I got interested. After watching S1, I felt unsatisfied, something was not right. So, I read the novel. I understood better. Then, S2 was aired. Errr... 🥴 I agree with you, most viewers “dislike” Tu Shan Jing, as most viewers don’t read the novel. 3 men did their best to save XY : 1) The assassination formation designed for XY was so powerful that once it started, XY was trapped. Like you said, Jing could have escaped but not XY. He couldn't leave XY. He did what he could. Using his spiritual power to divert the fire towards him, he protects XY’s body intact. Without Jing, her body would have been incinerated into ashes already. Because he kept transferring power into her, it kept her a sliver of hope alive. 2)CX used his people’s spirit power that bought time to keep XY alive. 3)XL later, gave one of his 9 lives to XY. In the drama, in saving XY, XL’s part was well presented. Maybe, a bit for CX’s. As for Jing, even though his First aid (I am your term, First aid.) was crucial, it was not mentioned. Sigh ...🙄 Was it too hard to add in few more lines to Jing Ye’s and CX’s people scripts? Would the lines need extra cost? I am not a writer but even I can write the lines … for free … LOL🤣 Missed out lines? Why only when it regards Jing. Like you said, that is how “C-Entertainment Business People Works”. Remember the first time Ye Shiqi and XL meet? Shiqi goes to the Chenrong camp to search for XY. Shiqi and XL stare at each other (Episode 4, I love Shiqi’s stare at XL, Deng Wei's stare is on point ! ). Then, Shiqi attacks XL’s men to get to XY, but XL didn’t do anything. Even though XL is stronger, Shiqi is a Nine Tailed Fox, a respectful high level diety, even XL had to be careful. Shiqi was not that weak. (As I mentioned previously, I liked episodes 1-7 the most, up until here, the drama is like in the book.) Once the Nine Tailed Fox, Ye Shiqi became Tushan Jing, somehow he became dull. He became less than Ye Shiqi. In the book, the real Jing was not dull. Jing rides his personal flying crane. Jing rides winged horses too. Jing can vault from the ground onto his ride, vice versa. Jing and XY, both ride Jing's crane too. Jing brought XY to travel to Haoling, together cruising on a ship. Jing shows XY beautiful scenic vistas, takes her to fun places, eat delicious food, etc. Camping outdoor on top of the mountain, laying on the spider wed under the stars. (I can only imagine... The romance scenes could have been off the charts ! 😍) Added scenes where XL saying "Tushan Jing!" and "if I had known..." , those were not in the book. Those lines implicates as if XL "gave" Jing to XY. 😅 Well, they had to do that to Tushan Jing. 🤦 Despite that, like Rihanna's song, "Shine like a diamond ...", that's Deng Wei . 💎
  4. You are right about the filming angle. It's a waste we couldn't see Jing's face. I like the episodes 1 to 7 the best. The scenes are almost 100% the same as the novel. Jing's face was clearly shown too. After I did some digging, I learnt that the direction of the drama was XL. Hence, I understood the extra scenes to show XL's emotions, which are not in the novel. Well, I don't deny Tan Jianci delivered his role very well. He is in good hands, so he'll be fine. Wishing him success in the future. But Jing was different, he was designed to be a dull character, yet he didn't dim, instead he shined even brighter. Respect!!! 😍 I guess that is why I am rooting for Weiwei. No matter what haters say, Weiwei's can act. His acting may not be 100% perfect yet, but he will be better and one day, unstoppable. 💯
  5. TQ for the updates. Keep it up ! 🥳🥰 Bravo !!!
